Some vital background info is that this budget shutdown is coming on the heels of the MAGA Murder Bill - which is poised to rip healthcare away from 17 million Americans as part of the largest transfer of wealth from the working and middle classes to the ultra wealthy in US history.

A study from Yale has estimated that around 50,000 people a year are going to die as a direct result of Trump's Big Fascist Bill. Rural hospitals are going to close and healthcare premiums are going to double or triple soon for the tens of millions of Americans who purchase their insurance through the ACA marketplace.

The Democratic demand for passing any budget is to reverse these cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. Instead of coming to the negotiating table, the Orange pedo-führer told the Democrats to get fucked and that it's my (Trump's) way or the highway - so here we are.

The Republicans need 60 votes to pass a budget, which would mean that 7 Democrats would have to cross the isle to vote with Trump's GOP enablers.

If you live in state with a Democratic Senator, it's vitally important that you call them and tell them to continue holding the line against Trump's attempt at extortion. The only way that our politicians are going to do what we want is there's a sustained public pressure campaign for them to do so. Now that the Democrats are finally growing, we need to close ranks and support them.
