These days, I've been listening much more to pragmatic progressives like David Pakman, Pod Save America, BTC, Thom Hartmann, Hutch, IRI, etc. I still hate-watch TYT and Secular Talk, which I know I gotta stop doing.

It's irrelevant what I believe.  Trump won because he convinced the swing voters that he was the better candidate.   Ralph Nader lays out the argument in the video I provided.

So, Harris should have ran more for maga issues then? Maga issues won, she should have been racist and xenophobic, and a liar, by your logic.

Harris was the better candidate, Americans are just not a great electorate. You have to quit infantalizing the citizens, it's the citizens fault and these hard times will be a lesson they hopefully learn from.

Hate watching TYT & Secular Talk specifically is what I'm talking about. You know you need to stop watching them cause their black pill lefties & yet you still do it which makes you a blackpill lefty yourself. Just to clarify for myself, it doesn't matter what Farron Cousins, Thom Hartmann, David Pakman etc says at this point, everyone has to feel pain from Trump's 2nd term inevitably. Which is why I'm more like Jonathan V Last from the Bulwark which fuck everyone lol.

Who was the best candidate for democrats to run, and on what issues?

The best candidate should have been chosen through a fair primary process.  That is how you find the best candidate.  My favorite going forward is Governor Newsom.   The issues should be focused on the economy and not divisive identity politics.  It will take Newsom 4 years just to bring the government back to stability and undo some of the damage.

If the Democratic party can represent America right now, while moving it forward, the Republican party can be pushed significantly closer to the ash bin of history. This doesn't happen if Democrats take a niche socialist agenda. Republicans have proven their inabilities and corruption, let them be the extreme party, people want stability and sanity.
