A pleasing personality

Is essential for succes. Any counter opinions? I think this hasn't covered much here and I have realised the importance of this skill today as I was going through Napoleon hills lecture and based on my past experiences and so I would like to highlight it...

It helps but it's not essential. I had a boss who was successful but had a very authoritative, disagreeable personality.

Pleasant wouldn't be the right word. Instead, be respectful, yet assertive. People appreciate a real aggressive leader over a fake placating, or mediocre one.

@EternalForest @Raphael actulized.org has always underrated or even put forward the opposite of this concept for success. However this is essential we deal with people every time and having a pleasing personality does contribute significantly to success.
