The USA is not a democracy

@Schahin I just said in that regard. In the regard of being able to vote for a party which represents your individual voice (somewhat) and that has power. Instead of voting for the lesser evil between democrats and republicans in the US for example.

German Democracy is useless, they make you think its amazing but it actually is not.

Germany is the key country in the european parliament blocking sacntions against Israel to stop the genocide.

That alone makes the german democratic system a huge failure. Because the first and foremost law for every lawmaker should be to abide by international law and do everything to prosecute individuals that dont abide by it.

Chancellor Merz is pretty amazing at ignoring international law and even wants to invite War Criminal Netanyahu to Germany. So that renders the german democracy a low quality democracy.

As long as there are individual lawmakers or parties that ignore international law and see themselves above it, there wont be a credible democratic system that has any type of value.

How can you be in support of your own people but allow the starvation of thousands of children in another country?

Thats shitty of course.

Not even mentioning that they do absolutely nothing to stop the far right AFD, which is currently according to polls at around 26% in East Germany almost at 40%. There won't even be coalition options after the next election, other than a huge coalition of various parties with different interests.

Not even mentioning the ridiculous lobbying mechanism that german democracy and other democracies are victims of.

Germany does a lot to stop the afd, people protest and the parties in the Bundestag actively exclude the afd. But what can you do, if giant chunks of the population want the afd then their voice must be represented somehow.

This is another reason why I miss the 1990s, because that decade was the golden era of democracy in America.
