thinking about infinity ♾️

4 posts in this topic

there’s this metaphor where a monkey types on a keyboard forever, and because it’s typing forever, eventually it types out the complete works of shakespeare. these works are created, not by the monkey’s intelligence, but by pure chance.

when i think of infinity, within that infinity are all of our lives, not created by intelligent design, but rather arising by chance and by virtue of infinity including everything. how would you reconcile intelligence with pure infinity? must intelligence not exclude lesser designs in favour of greater designs?

I'd say yes. It must but it has free will to not have to. It being infinite will just do it for fun.

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread

I don't know but the very word "infinity " implies you can't put it in a box .

Its bigger than you and your thinking.

Leo quote:" if Reality is infinite then it will always escape any attempt to encapsulate it ".

This bald elf is on another level ain't he 😂?

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Intelligence is a really good contemplation subject.

Intelligence is an aspect of consiousness just like Love is.

Leo has some pointers for you though.
