I Am Confused. How Do Magic Mushrooms Make You More Grounded?

In Leo's video about magic mushrooms, he said that his 2 mushroom trips made him mode grounded into reality. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding the terms but wouldn't shrooms actually make you more ”airy fairy lost in being” ? How does it translate to clarity in practical life? Do you just become more at ease with the present moment and hence do your work better?

I would much appreciate an answer. 

Thinking of doing 2g myself someday to get an intro into the realm of psychedelics.

@Dan Arnautu on my trip I realized how little I was acknowledging hiw everything is just a celebration of me.

I wouldnt say that mushrooms wil always ground you.

Mushrooms will give you what you need and are ready for at the concrete stage of your journey.
