Kundalini vs Kriya Yoga

4 posts in this topic

What do you guys think? You think Kriya is a better path? I recently came across a Kundalini for Awakening video on a guided experience and it included Kriya pranayama and fire breathing. Check it out and let me know what you think of the method:

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

Now I can only talk from experience and can say that Kundalini raising can be painful. Although my experience of it differs greatly from the public understanding. I did focus on transcending the self, then Kundalini came into the game, thus deeper transcendence of the self began.

What I want to point out it is no need to focus on Kundalini, it will awaken in the due time when enough transcendence of the self is achieved.

Sorry for not being exactly on topic.

A little off topic but I noticed for some reason I don’t fall asleep during my regular  meditaiton when I do kryia yoga prior.

In simple terms.

There is no such thing as kundalini yoga.

Kundalini is simply an energy that can be raised up in the body, this energy can have many forms. Most potent one is the one that is being raised by godly being or your higher self to crush the ego and unlock new potential/consciousness and its painfull as painfullness leads to surrender and god realization.

Kriya yoga is nothing more then a form of prayer to god and its a technology to make your body surrender to pain, when you can do an asana fully it means you have surrendered enough to pain and god.

Leave kundalini to god and keep kriya for yourself or any other form of yoga, it's all about surrendering until you can do the asana fully
