You heal traumas through recontextualization

Yes, it does help with our survival. But what is context metaphysically? Not how it serves us or deceives us. What is the true nature of context?

Healing traumas is not a minor thing. Becoming more inteligent also requires recontextualization. If you're stupid how would you study reality

I never said that it wasn't. I didn't say intelligence doesn't require recontextualization. What does your last sentence reference too? It was quite random and just curious as to what sense your making.

That's one of my ways of adding to the thread, being careful it is not off-topic. Because I view the comments as part of a larger thing. It may not tacle the main question directly but i'll add nuggets as food for thought. Making sense of what context is at it's source is not an easy task.

This shit will really fuck with your head because this whole time we are living in a very specific context no matter how objective or common sense you feel it is, or scientific or realistic you think you are

This is also practical for survival

You have to have a still mind to not get caught in or fall into the ocean of mind. You have to be meta contextual.

And this.

In fact, being on this forum is survival too. Also, how do you expect to awaken if not with practical means?

My final answer: context is your Mind

That doesn't say much, does it?

What are context and mind? How are you holding these two?

Way to stay on track. Context and mind are held by context, but what is context?

I don't know.

Thought. Imagination. Literally, there is nothing there.

We could say that.

And yet, if you were asked what's in a lasagna, you wouldn't answer with "nothing." :D

Wait, maybe it is nothing. But since context seems to be something, we've got to start with that. :)

The question is: are those the best questions to ask?

Given your assertion above, I'd say those are foundational questions to clarify what you meant.

I keep coming back to "holding something", the way it is "held." Which suggests space or a kind of openness, in my own mind.

But we don't want to make the mistake of thinking that our contemplation is easily solved. We aren't necessarily looking for just a definition.

I’d say cheese, tomatoes, pasta and 😊 But, the real magic is the part you can’t name, which is the part that makes it taste like heaven.

The eggplant? Seriously though, maybe everything is nothing, but how does such a claim assist us here?

Context is some 'thing', otherwise why not call every thing 'nothing'? Lasagna is lasagna, not nothing ;)
