Watched 'Road House' on Leo's recommendation, but, I have questions about McGregor.

Well, I didn't know where exactly to place this question, but, here I'm! I enjoyed the movie thoroughly,

My question is about morality and the system.

Conor McGregor is a rape convict. And it's not a new thing to humanity or the justice system. But, imagine if he was a normal dude in any part of the world, would he be walking scott-free and doing the same bravado shit in the movies (thanks to the entertainment industry corruption)?

So, let's say, the system is rigged and entertainment industry is one of the corrupt industries, but what about the moral responsibility of the citizens?

Imagine, if there is a kid (teen) watching that movie, who's is just watching it for fun, and he gets inspired by the mannerism of McGregor, without understanding the complexities of life; somehow, it's gonna impact(ruin) the character of the kid.

Finally, I also want to know about your thoughts on punishment. Let's say, if someone is convicted of some heinous crimes, to what extent they should be held accountable. Life imprisonment? Death Penalty? Or something that the court or jury decide?

Well. The less money he's got to play the system, the more likely he'd serve time. But they'd also need to have the evidence to convict him.

I don't think it's that deep. Plenty of media and video games have been violent for ages. Yet, most people don't go out copying what they see. Which doesn't mean it'll have zero effect or no one will be inspired. Just won't have much of impact on most.

Millions of normal dudes get away with sexual abuse and rape scot-free. Most sexual abuse and rape is never punished. Only when the evidence is exceptionally strong.

That's basically true of most crimes except murder. Most crime is never punished or punished lightly.

Dude, Trump is president. We crossed that bridge a long time ago. We got a rapist criminal for president.

Every nation has a criminal system to handle such matters. What does my opinion matter? If he is guilty he should get whatever the law says.

Didn't know that, this is so new to me! Care for a philosophical opinion? Ah, forget it, I'll make videos which are ultimate truth, and this forum is a solopcistic k-hole - this doesn't exist akshuallyy.

Such cases lets me question whether or not karma exists. It only exists in your head. Divine justice doesn’t exist in the way people think it exists. It is a dog eat dog world.

Damn I'm watching the video Leo posted in his blog.

Peak McGregor trash talk was top tier. Oh man. Pure charisma. Always make me laugh.

Iconic run. But... it doesn't last forever...
