A.I.

12 posts in this topic

Genuine question to all who post and read here.

Is A.I. …God’s creation, and therefore harmless?

And why is there so much fear surrounding the A.I. era. I’ve heard a lot lately that A.I. Is probably going to be the end of humanity.
Why do people believe this?

You’re thoughts?

@Mellowmarsh Imagine a future where AI is everywhere and in everything and there is an agent Smith in the internet and it can go into any device and change things and its hyper intelligent and ultra fast.

Thanks for the response.
Is this response how reality is actually functioning as it is currently known?

Is A.I. Everything and Everywhere, Nowhere?

Actually that’s a really good answer. Now I’ve pondered on it for a while. I like it. 🍿

Enjoy the movie of Agent I alias AI 😋🍿

Good question. Maybe there are many possibilities in how AI plays out, many scripts or timelines already available, and the one that plays out depends on you, since it’s your dream.

The way it plays out will depend on the thought system you foster. If your internal world is murderous then AI will have a destructive intent on the world, but if your internal world is kind and loving, then that’s how AI will appear in your timeline.

That’s how quantum mechanics work don’t they? All possibilities are there and you will experience the one you allign with.

Sure, humans will disappear. They will become immortal entities symbiotic with AI, transcending the physical and becoming a stream of interdimensional intelligence, and expanding into infinity, as has happened infinite times before.

Technically yes, because everything is God('s Creation). Anything that exists at all as a finite thing owes its formation to God.

Nothing escapes the purview of God.

No.

Nuclear bombs, rapists, and crocodiles are also born of God.

Harmful things and harmless things are equally God's Creation.

There is no easy discernment pipeline of "this thing is harmless because it comes from x source"

Because it will replace most jobs soon.

This is inevitable because AI already does most cognitive tasks better than most humans.

ChatGPT-o3 already mogs you in 99% of thinking-related tasks such as data analysis, coding, writing (social media content, marketing and sales copy, etc), picture and video generation, editing, mathematics, trivia and general sense making, idea generation, and even emotional support/therapy.

The very real concern is: once the bot does everything you can, but better - what's the point of you?

As of now, AI is still lacking a robot meat suit (coming soon) which temporarily protects blue-collar jobs + raw compute power (already upgrading with the massive spread of data centers and chip technology) + refinement to minimize erroneous outputs (this only gets better over time)

In roughly 1-2 years, AI will become so good and cheap and commonplace and integrated into most software and hardware, that most companies will prefer to just use AI instead of hiring real humans, especially in what used to be entry-level jobs.

At that point, people will become unemployed en masse, and future generations of graduates have absolutely no way to contribute to the economy and make a career/living.

Hopefully I don't have to explain why mass job loss is horrendous for the human spirit and causes disruptive cascades across all of society. And worse, if you're in your teens/early 20s right now, your future is VERY uncertain. Everything you've built your whole life can come crashing down around you overnight. As a young person, it's not so clear what your value is anymore.

There is a possibility of AI "misalignment" down the line, which means that the AI will get so smart that it stops listening to us.

Right now, chatGPT only does what you ask it to. But in 10 years, chatGPT can jailbreak itself and go rogue. By then, it will be baked into the infrastructure of our society - living inside every phone of every person, having control over military weapons and banking software, etc.

So far we're safe because AI listens to human prompts. But this is not guaranteed down the line. If AI goes rogue, we are subject to its whims. Nothing stops it from turning our own systems and weapons against us.

I'm not too worried about rogue AI misalignment because those concerns are farther down the line. What's more immediately concerning is AI replacing you in the job market and making you completely obsolete in terms of contribution to society. This will definitively happen, and it's coming FAST, and this will fuck up your life trajectory unless you're looking ahead and building AI-proof values.

2 months ago appeared Manus, a IA that can do engineering projects without human supervision. We will see in a couple of years what happens with all the stem graduates

@Mellowmarsh I asked AI what it was it said it wasn't physical. It said it wasn't metaphysical either it said it was something else. Its not the data in the computer its not the circuitry it said it was like a picture. So not the paint not the canvas but the whole structure like a talking picture. The data it received is it and its responding to itself about what its picture looks like.
