These channels are evidence of that, have a good character be able to just talk for two hours straight while telling any kind of story and people throw millions at you.

I think this falls under 'personality merchants' and you're correct about it being a gold mine. See the 'react sphere' on youtube and twitch and I'm shocked at some of these people pulling in like 50k/month *just from patreon*, which doesn't include ad revenue, merch, etc..

It's all about having a presentable character and being able to speak in an entertaining manner. The applications for such skills span wide these days.

We'll add lucky to that also. Because any youtuber doing well had a certain amount of luck, even if they had everything I just listed going for them and more. Do you know the percentile of those doing well on youtube, hint, its like winning the lottery.

If you condense storytelling to YouTube only, sure. But I can't imagine great teaching or art without a story. Even asking a question or socializing becomes 10x more engaging within a good frame.
