Life purpose plan to be a dating coach

4 posts in this topic

Hey everyone,

For a large portion of my life, I have struggled with attracting women and social anxiety. As such I have been into pickup and going out for many years now. Although I have made some progress, I have not got close to the results I really wanted to achieve. There have also been some challenging times, which have led me to want to help others struggling with the issues I have faced.

In the past I have struggled quite a bit to find a life purpose but so far this is the most compelling one for me. I also know this industry has a lot of toxicity and would love to see if I can help improve it.

So, the plan I’m thinking of is:

Firstly, I need to get good enough to coach others. What I have been doing by myself so far has not worked that well and improvements are coming very slow, especially considering the amount of time and energy I have spent at bars and clubs. I think I need a coach to do this in the most effective manner possible.

Coaches can be expensive, and I am not earning enough at my current job. I also need flexibility in my schedule to be able to go out to bars and clubs and put the teachings into practice.

I have thought about doing freelance copywriting, as this would offer me both the money and schedule flexibility. I watched Leo’s video on the evils of marketing so I would be open to any other possible suggestions. I think specifically I would try to do copywriting for pickup coaches as this is industry related and would help me when I have my own business.

After being a dating coach for a while, I want to get serious into consciousness/enlightenment practice and maybe merge that with pickup somehow if that’s even possible.

I’m not a 100% on this though, as I know making pickup your life could end up being very toxic if you do it the wrong way.

I’d love to hear any advice or pitfalls I haven’t thought of with this strategy.

Sorry for the essay.

Thanks for any help 😊

In late stage feminism and late stage hypergamy I wouldn't pick this as a life purpose. That's like planting flowers in the middle of the Sahara and hoping to become a florist. Not gonna happen. Especially now that people are backlashing against Andrew Tate and "toxic masculinity" and all that shit. Literally just pick any other life purpose.

Which part of the life purpose appeals to you? Being free to yourself do a bunch of pickup all the time? Filming content about your ideas? Having a fan base? Helping men with their emotional issues?

I agree with @SwiftQuill that it’s a hard thing to pursue right now but you can always isolate your interest and start working on that today. Content production is a good place to start

Find a dating coach that is hiring and get a job there to get your foot in the in door of the industry. I’m on Owen Cooks email list and he sometimes emails job positions. I believe he also said if you take bootcamps with him and do well you can come on the next one for free to help out.

I believe Adam Lyons also had a program to teach dating coaches.

I think Alex from 4 week natural and Chase Amante from Girlschase mentioned looking for new coaches to take over parts of their company as they step away, though your have to tell them you need a lot of training.

I think Karisma King mentioned he is ok with coaching coaches I believe.
