The Awesomeness of God

5 posts in this topic

Everything is new. That's how awesome experience is. In a sense that's what Death is, you are dying every moment, death is ever present in reality. Stare at your hand, with clean perception, that is death. To perceive, is to always be new, to be dead. If your consciousness is clean and pure enough there's no repetition, there's no mechanicalness; There's just... Isness. I now understand why you need to purify yourself to meet god, to meet... yourself. To meet yourself is the most profound and the most beautiful experience there is. God is so fucking shy lol, God is too subtle, it is hiding from itself. But it is hiding out of love, it is waiting for YOU to be ready to meet it. God always rediscover itself from new angles and perspectives, and this words are so profound that few comprehend, perspective is reality. God is  so selfless, that even if your perspective is absurdly intelligent, that is just that: a perspective, this is too fucking profound. God doesn't allow any monopoly whatsoever, God allows everything. This is too incredible, and too terrifying. I get it now why Leo shat on his carpet:D

Yeah, it's like I wrote this little analogy recently:

It's like you have been living your entire life in a yellow brick house and one day, upon close inspection you simply realise that the bricks are not merely yellow in colour, they are literally gold bricks.

Why do Christians make God seem so lame when its actually the coolest thing to ever exist?

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread

Cuz they don't have a direct experience of God, they have a knowledge or set of ideas that they've installed in their minds to look at and call God.

It's kinda funny because having certain ideas in the mind can in certain ways be beneficial and actually necessary because the ego doesn't know how else to try and get a handle on God. Pictures like Jesus can be useful in my opinion because it is a created symbol of God made manifest as a person. Someone who is dogmatically against symbols under all circumstances should check their logic... In a more relatable example it would be very appropriate and acceptable to put a picture of a dead relative on their casket at a funeral. The picture isn't actually them but it allows the mind to establish some form of an emotional connection. I think having ideas is perfectly acceptable, it only becomes deeply problematic when the holder of said ideas forgets that they are still just symbols and starts conflating them for the reality they represent.
