Life Purpose

4 posts in this topic

Considering my life purpose is to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves and I am doing that through writing a book, do you guys think it would be wise for me to minor in writing and not marketing. I am a psychology major. Also do you guys really think that the information taught at universities on marketing is actually useful?

I did not enjoy my marketing subject at uni, nor did I find it useful. The psychology of influence would have been a much more valuable subject to study. I can't comment on the writing subjects.

Hi @Shane597,

i didn't take any marketing courses at university but i am doing digital marketing for some time now, and a book that really helped me was"how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. It is definitely a must!
