What is the difference between Mind, Consciousness and Reality?

3 posts in this topic

These distinctions used to be very clear in the beginning but they aren't anymore. Right now they all seem to be the same, but I wanna know your perspective. What do you think are the essence of such distinctions? What is Universal Mind in constrast with Consciousness and in constrast with Reality? What is the point and usefulness in such distinctions?

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

One idea: Consciousness becomes/creates human reality (experience) through he combination of mind and senses.

The essence of such distinctions: Increasing understanding by division.

We cut the reality into smaller pieces, get a better understanding of it. Then we can put it together again to better see the whole picture. But there are limits. In a book by Lisa Barret Feldmann, she used the analogy of a bread. You can look at a bread, slice it (putting space in between the different pieces), analyze it and try to figure out the ingredients as best as possible. It works to a degree. But be aware that when putting all ingredients+  process (heat in oven, cooling down) together, sth new is created (eg the crust of a bread, the fluffiness etc) . Mixed ingredients + construction process create sth you cannot completely solve "backwards".

Universal mind.... I would put it into the realm of sth like logos, universal intelligence. But words and definitions become quite arbitrary. Use a concept as long as it has a practical value added. Move past it as soon as possible.

I would say that reality is infinite, unknowable and unlimited potential.

Consciousness is the light that illuminates a part of this potential, therefore its content, the part, is relative, but its substance is absolute since it is always the same consciousness.

The universal mind is the sum of all synchronized holons of consciousness, perhaps encompassing all of infinite potential reality, or perhaps just a cyclical part, the cosmos that unfolds as a cycle in itself containing all the cycles of consciousness that exist
