Qualitative difference in state of Awareness from Kriyas vs Inquiry

3 posts in this topic

Do you also feel a qualitative difference in state of awareness generated from psychological methods of meditation, whether it be self-inquiry or mindfulness, compared to more physical or energy based practises like Kriyas and Yogasanas?

For me it's almost as if the sense of self and sentience is much more present via mental processes, on the other hand with Kriyas while the system is energised and the body awareness increases exponentially, it feels as if the thoughts are suppressed, thus the same level of alertness and a kind of sharpness is absent.

It is so

Look it like this. You may practice kickboxing, then judo and afterwards jiu-jitsu on the ground. After these individuals martial arts you may put them all together and practice MMA, Mixed Martial Arts.

Leo's videos on "State of Consciousness Is Everything" and "The Many Facets Of Awakening" will come handy to get the bigger picture and leave no stone unturned

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless you live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, you should know the requirements of your body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes mature and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ...                       Lovingly discipline Life & Realize Absolute Infinity

I feel that self inquiry gives you mental clarity when you are low that you can just bear and thrive with life but kriyas will make you blissfull and other things but you just don't know why.

Self inquiring increases the power of tought in your cognition in my experience.
