Truth Addict replied to Anton_Pierre's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Anton_Pierre Emptiness is not separate from Everything. God is not separate from Creation. Formless = Form Try going meta on your question and then ask: what is what? What are we aiming for when we ask "what is" something? It's always a theory/thought, not the truth. -
Truth Addict replied to okulele's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@okulele It's the difference between theory and practice. If you practice what you preach, then that's embodiment. -

@ashatrisk You will get what you want one way or another, but you'll have to align yourself with infinite intelligence to be able to see how this is the case. -
Truth Addict replied to Paul92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Paul92 A cat does not need a free will to learn how to go to the bathroom. You don't choose to teach it, and it does not choose to learn. But the learning process still happens anyways. There is an impulse to do something, that impulse does not come from the you that you think you are (ego), it rather comes much deeper, directly from God (God's will). -

You are a mystic, but you don't know it yet. -
Truth Addict replied to positivevibes's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@positivevibes I meditate while I'm walking my way to work or university. It's very comfortable and easy for me. -

Don't fight, don't resist. Just do the best you think you can do. It is possible to survive without suffering, and that happens when you remove the assumption that there has to be suffering in order to do something against your will. What is suffering but another duality? You can love the criminals and stop them, it's the best thing you can do. ❤️ -
@Roch It's someone who have done and is still doing a lot of great things for others, not for himself/herself.

To be spent on fighting/struggling/resisting.

I think it doesn't matter what Leo's interpretation might be, because again, it's gonna have to be filtered by/through our personal interpretations. That's why direct experience is king.

Lol! Forgot that. Thank you ❤️ -
Truth Addict replied to EvilAngel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@EvilAngel This is a great insight, thanks for sharing. Yes, we need to balance being practical with being happy. We must face reality, not run away and hide, I think that presence can be of a great value, because without being present, then what are we even doing? It's like our first priority is to become at peace with ourselves, so that we can become at peace with everyone and everything else. ❤️ -

Truth Addict replied to EmptyInside's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@EmptyInside Feel sorry for yourself first and foremost, so that you avoid delusion. I understand that you have made a huge progress, but notice the ego trying to claim it. Let go of who you were, who you were is a fantasy. (advice is for myself too). ❤️ -
Truth Addict replied to sausagehead's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@sausagehead Stop struggling. Even if you can't surrender, you still can certainly accept that. So, accept that. ❤️ -
@Charlotte Fear does not necessarily have to be frightening. Boredom is already a form of fear, and we experience it all the time. I think what you wanted to say is how can you face that fear? If so, then I'm not sure there's a formula to do that. But here are some things that worked for me: Acceptance of the present moment. Letting go of the past and future. Questioning my desires to death. Finding out that I can enjoy every single activity if I stop listening to the thoughts (thought makes experience suck! Feel the experience for what it is). Meditation of course, long walking sessions. How to overcome fear? Stop thinking, take action immediately (bravery). I hope that gives you some insight..

And that boredom is stemming from fear. And that fear is stemming from love. And that love is our nature but it's unorganised and misguided, so there you go, that's the root issue. We should love ourselves.

If you have any energy to do something, then you have the energy to do something else. I think it's deeper than laziness, could possibly be stemming from boredom (favouring one thing in contrast to something else). Is this correct?

Lol! It's not an interest, it's an addiction. Truth doesn't mind anything. Eat whatever you like. -
Truth Addict replied to Farnaby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It does not matter. What matters is the greater good. If everyone turned vegan, that would probably make a biological shift in nature, animals would increase, plants would decrease, oxygen and carbon dioxide changes, global warming, etc... The greater good includes everything, but first and foremost, human beings (from our perspective). So, everything is fine unless it's taken to its extremes. -
Truth Addict replied to Farnaby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Farnaby You're expecting a nondual answer for an ideology? Throw Veganism away, or forget about non-duality. Of course, you can do both, but be careful not to blend them together. -

@Andreas @now is forever Ideas are like diapers! Both must be changed regularly, and for the same reason I'm implying EVERY idea, whether religious (spiritual) or materialistic (realistic).

@SageModeAustin I think that it's a good method. I'd just like to add that it should be applied in a more surrendered approach. For example: I tried to control my emotions, and I've failed. Okay, perhaps it's not possible to be able to control emotions, is there anything else that I can do? I can accept the fact that I haven't succeeded at controlling emotions, and I can accept that they can't be controlled, perhaps I can skid into them instead of trying to manipulate them or running away from them, perhaps I should just surrender to them and trust them. Two important points: The statements used must be truthful, authentic, and precise. We shouldn't be hard on ourselves, because that'll make us neurotic and thus can make the whole method counter-productive, since Shadow is all neuroses.

@sausagehead Life is what you make it: a joke, a play, a war, a struggle, a purpose, an emotion, a seeking, survival, happiness, whatever. And that's the beauty of it. But you can also see it as ugly, it's really up to none but 'you' .
