  1. @mandyjw I don't know, I believe there has to be some hidden wisdom in taking the other approach, perhaps because the ego-mind does not want to accept that it doesn't exist. Usually most people have very big egos, and they need to deconstruct them before they can see the truth, still, some people have little egos that need more construction, and so this approach can be helpful to them. (I'm just guessing).
  2. @zunnyman There's no difference between Truth and illusion, but the only thing that can delude you is you.
  3. @bflare There's no envy nor jealousy, they're illusions created by you, to help you stay alive.
  4. @okulele The definition that I gave was general. You meant specific type of embodiment, which is the spiritual embodiment. My definition works, I guess, but it had to be more nuanced. Spiritual embodiment is applying the insights we have about reality in our everyday lives, whatever that means. I don't think there's someone who is 100% embodied, or that there could ever be, because we're always learning new insights. In fact, when someone thinks or says that they are fully enlightened or embodied, you can rest sure that they are not, and that they are deluding themselves and others. Arriving at a final destination is a trap, there's only the trip. ?
  5. One will lead to the other. Sometimes we have to go back and forth between life purpose and enlightenment, I personally find that best results come from that balance. ❤️
  6. @Anton_Pierre Emptiness is not separate from Everything. God is not separate from Creation. Formless = Form Try going meta on your question and then ask: what is what? What are we aiming for when we ask "what is" something? It's always a theory/thought, not the truth.
  7. @okulele It's the difference between theory and practice. If you practice what you preach, then that's embodiment.
  8. @ashatrisk You will get what you want one way or another, but you'll have to align yourself with infinite intelligence to be able to see how this is the case.
  9. @Paul92 A cat does not need a free will to learn how to go to the bathroom. You don't choose to teach it, and it does not choose to learn. But the learning process still happens anyways. There is an impulse to do something, that impulse does not come from the you that you think you are (ego), it rather comes much deeper, directly from God (God's will).
  10. You are a mystic, but you don't know it yet.
  11. @positivevibes I meditate while I'm walking my way to work or university. It's very comfortable and easy for me.
  12. Don't fight, don't resist. Just do the best you think you can do. It is possible to survive without suffering, and that happens when you remove the assumption that there has to be suffering in order to do something against your will. What is suffering but another duality? You can love the criminals and stop them, it's the best thing you can do. ❤️
  13. @Roch It's someone who have done and is still doing a lot of great things for others, not for himself/herself.
  14. To be spent on fighting/struggling/resisting.
  15. I think it doesn't matter what Leo's interpretation might be, because again, it's gonna have to be filtered by/through our personal interpretations. That's why direct experience is king.
  16. Lol! Forgot that. Thank you ❤️
  17. @EvilAngel This is a great insight, thanks for sharing. Yes, we need to balance being practical with being happy. We must face reality, not run away and hide, I think that presence can be of a great value, because without being present, then what are we even doing? It's like our first priority is to become at peace with ourselves, so that we can become at peace with everyone and everything else. ❤️
  18. @Anton_Pierre Loved it ❤️ @Shin Lol! ? @DrMobius Being is God = being being being = God God God = is is is
  19. @EmptyInside Feel sorry for yourself first and foremost, so that you avoid delusion. I understand that you have made a huge progress, but notice the ego trying to claim it. Let go of who you were, who you were is a fantasy. (advice is for myself too). ❤️
  20. @sausagehead Stop struggling. Even if you can't surrender, you still can certainly accept that. So, accept that. ❤️
  21. @Charlotte Fear does not necessarily have to be frightening. Boredom is already a form of fear, and we experience it all the time. I think what you wanted to say is how can you face that fear? If so, then I'm not sure there's a formula to do that. But here are some things that worked for me: Acceptance of the present moment. Letting go of the past and future. Questioning my desires to death. Finding out that I can enjoy every single activity if I stop listening to the thoughts (thought makes experience suck! Feel the experience for what it is). Meditation of course, long walking sessions. How to overcome fear? Stop thinking, take action immediately (bravery). I hope that gives you some insight..
  22. And that boredom is stemming from fear. And that fear is stemming from love. And that love is our nature but it's unorganised and misguided, so there you go, that's the root issue. We should love ourselves.
  23. If you have any energy to do something, then you have the energy to do something else. I think it's deeper than laziness, could possibly be stemming from boredom (favouring one thing in contrast to something else). Is this correct?
  24. Lol! It's not an interest, it's an addiction. Truth doesn't mind anything. Eat whatever you like.
