Yes. But why does it matter? Every emotion is fear-based. And fear itself is coming from Love, and Love is an absolute, so... -

@SQAAD From God's perspective, perfection does not even exist. God is just being what it is. Perfection is a concept made by the mind for the human beings so that they can see value in different ways, something is perfect, other things aren't, etc... When Leo talks about Perfection with a capital P, he means from the perspective of an enlightened human being, who happens to be in alignment with God. Really, it doesn't matter to God what you think or say about his work, it only matters to you and your happiness as an ego. The more you drop your judgements and self agendas, the more happy you become. So, choose wisely, and with balance. -
@Nivsch Healthy vs. unhealthy is a larger topic than spiral dynamics. And it's highly relative. I think it's better to introduce the concept of ego to your friend, so that he understands what healthy vs. unhealthy actually means. Also try to show him that SD is just a model, and that it isn't the truth. I sense that he's thinking of the model literally, without understanding that it's very flexible.

@Hardkill I feel you, it's really tough, I know it. You are not lost, neither confused. You are perfect, and I love you ❤️ Sometimes it's very important to check with the basics, do you have enough sleep and rest? Are you relaxed? Does your diet lack anything important? Are you well hydrated? After checking with all of those, look again, and see how you feel. You should feel better. You don't have to meditate, you're free to meditate whenever you like. Meditation can help you find peace, that's why you feel you need it. The reason why you feel lost and confused is because you've forgotten yourself, meditation can literally bring you back to life. After checking with the basics, stop all the other unnecessary activities, it'll be hard at first, but you'll get better with time and practice. Keep cutting out the unnecessary stuff that you do, until you're left with the basics, you'll notice how much you were addicted to unnecessary and unhealthy habits, and eventually you will find peace by simply staying still. It will pass, have some faith. I hope the best for you ❤️ You're more than you think you are, you just don't know it yet.

@Nivsch This sounds a little bit unrealistic, and too much optimistic. I don't think a state can develop beyond orange as long as there's war within the same area. And as long as there's war, that means that there's not much difference in power and influence between the two. The tug of war must end. There are two scenarios, both sides will have to accept each other and then evolve together, or God forbid, they will keep fighting until one destroys the other. But there are larger dynamics going on, first world governments want to keep them fighting, because that'll allow them to sell weapons to Arabs, and therefore provide a good deal of money, and also Iran and Russia have the same business with Arabs. Plus, and I'm not sure about this, but they say that Trump provides protection and support to Israel because they can provide him stability right now, and because they'll somehow help him win the next election, using their money and influence. Politics is a very complicated topic, and I'm sorry about the holocaust, I hope we will reach more peaceful places really soon. ❤️

@andyjohnsonman There is nothing you do that is not for your ego, so don't create that duality. If you want to be completely selfless, you would literally have to physically die. As long as you are alive, you are still going to be an ego. -

Wanting is part of imagination, so it is necessary. Imagination is broader than mere wanting, so it cannot be replaced here. You can imagine things that you don't want, but you can't want things that you don't imagine. To want something is to imagine it. Correct me if I'm wrong. -

I love the quote ❤️ The most important thing that I've learned is that it's not about learning, it's about unlearning what we have learned. I find one big obstacle with males starting the spiritual work is not wanting to give up the thinking mind. And that's quite understandable, because the thinking mind has a great value to our survival. While women on the other hand, think with their hearts (as cliché as it might sound). The mind and the heart are metaphors, the truth is that there just is a thinking process that happens to be more rational (based more on logic and evidence) in males, and more emotional (based more on perceptions and stories) in females. From males perspective, emotions seem cheesy and ridiculous. From females perspective, rationality seems cold and boring. So which one is right? I think that both can be understood, but at the same time, both are partial. The best approach I find is integration of both, although a male will still be highly rational, but he'll get to become more understanding of how females think, and how to connect with them, and also how to connect with himself and with life in general. The same applies for females, by integrating rationality, they can become more independent and successful, and more realistic and pragmatic, that'll make them connect easily with the mind of males as well. One book that helped me in understanding women was: "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus". Are you familiar with Spiral Dynamics? I think it's a great model for understanding the self and the partner, and other people and societies in general. It takes time and practice to integrate our feminine side as males, but it's worth it. Sometimes even if you understand all that, it's still hard to understand women, because ironically, they themselves don't understand themselves! But they'll appreciate that you even tried. I kind of used your journal as mine because I don't have one, please forgive me for that. ❤️

It does not amaze me. I feel pity for them. I was religiously born and raised, and then adopted science, and only now after two years of following your work, I started to see beyond the limitations of blue and orange, and going more into green and yellow. I mean it's very easy to get stuck in believing authorities, because mainstream people don't question anything, so it seems very convincing that they have the truth. I notice that happening even here on the forum, even I can't be sure that I escaped that yet. I fell for that trap a lot of times, I'm trying not to do it again. I don't know if you notice that Leo, but people kind of started worshipping you. It's very hard to break out of ideology. -

@SQAAD I see a lot of conceptual baggage about Truth in this thread. Kill the Buddha! Destroy everything you think you know about the Truth. Forget everything you heard Leo and other teachers saying about the Truth. Start from scratch, contemplate what truth is, and what it means for something to be true. -

Truth Addict replied to SQAAD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Good. You can go in both ways; Deconstructing the illusion. Looking for the actual Truth. Try to firstly start with creating a conceptual definition of the truth, what does it mean to say that something is true? Write the question on paper: What is 100% true? And keep trying to get an answer, at least a concept of Truth. These are my limits, I've done the conceptual work, but still doing the spiritual work, the answers then will come by themselves, I guess. -

@Joseph Maynor You can write books on each one, and for every single stage. But in brief, since they're all in tier one, then they all share the same mentality, which is closed-mindedness. It's only a matter of the filter they're looking through at the world. They don't see the world for what it is, they simply see it from their ideas and projections, and they confuse all that for Truth. Supposedly, the higher they evolve, the more perspective they see, but I don't agree with that. I think they're all the same, only using different filters.

@SQAAD What is the Truth? -

Truth Addict replied to mandyjw's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 ❤️ We're all spiritual, one way or another, it's just different ways of showing it, because everyone has a unique path, and because we're all divine. It is what it is, we're all motivated by happiness and we all don't want to suffer. Still, the ones who've gone through the journey are more likely to have a better grip and understanding of happiness and how it works. That's where you are most valuable to others, is that you can light the way for them, and lead them to happiness. That's kind of everyone's life purpose. ❤️ -

@mandyjw Amanda ❤️ I hope you're feeling better by now. I love you, I always have, and I will always do. If you ever need someone to talk to, you know where to find me. Now, unless you have a strong desire for understanding reality, stop all of your practices, and look for your own happiness. Happiness is the most important thing, most people go into this spirituality business trying to find happiness, but they end up deluding themselves, chasing whatever their teachers might have told them. There's no actual need for understanding reality, others have done it for you, Jesus had done it for you ❤️ You can drop the seeking and start believing again, but this time, by choosing your beliefs more carefully and more wisely, you can believe Leo, he is a good man. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, that's because they think dualistically. But there is no difference between belief and direct experience. There is nothing but the present moment. When having a direct experience of God, most people cannot be here telling others about it. Most people when they talk about their mystical experiences, they are actually talking about their memories (past experiences, present fantasies). But what is memory? People don't usually question their memories, and they take for granted that they're completely true, and they place a great value on them, believing that memories are true and prior to Belief, ironically. What I'm telling you is that if they can trust their memories, then you can trust theirs too. After all, we're all one and connected. But, you have to know who to trust, because trusting some people can be deluding. Pick one teacher that resonates with you the most, and trust them. I think it's Eckhart Tolle, or Abraham Hicks. Many disciples have become enlightened through prayer and belief. That's because what I'm saying is true. I think Leo would agree with me, but he won't because that's opposed to his way of doing things. I wish you all the best Mandy ❤️ I'd love to help in case I can. Don't be shy, embarrassed or anything. I'm here for you, and if you don't want to talk in public, you know where to find me. Much love and respect ❤️ -

In the practical world, there is. The duality is in the interpretation, there's no actual duality. The more conscious you become, the more your love expands beyond your selfish agendas, to include others', etc... No free will is kind of irrelevant here, because unconscious human beings can't help but being unconscious, and the conscious ones can't help but to help others evolve, it's tricky but here we are.
