  1. Making an intention beforehand to gain clarity and understanding about the topic. Stopping ever once in a while and letting it sink in. Asking yourself: 'What is it really saying?' Basically contemplating while reading.

  4. @creede As I understand it, one of the qualities of the shadow is that it is hard to spot just by looking. Hopefully by seeing the material of others, we can uncover more of the stuff in ourselves, that has not been noticed.

  7. @and_gr I am all for sports. But again, the success with this depends on the attitude. If you hit the gym thinking and feeling: "I am a fat looser so I have to go here...", it will be no good. Better change it for loving-kindness.

  13. Really make an intention before the start to do your best and follow the rules. It's a good system, they know what they are doing.

  15. What is it that you really want? Isn't it happiness? This puts a lot into perspective... even all the SD and enlightenment stuff. Anyway, if you are on this forum, I am sure you are dipping your toes in Yellow already. Go for total freedom = enlightenment, and that will catapult you to the sweet, sweet Turquoise. ...but hey, that's just my opinion
