  1. Aw man, don't be afraid. Just start small, 15 minutes won't get you into anything hairy. Honestly man, I doubt you could force yourself to meditate enough to see real rapids even if you wanted to. Oh and psychedelics are probably not for you.
  2. I never vomited consuming it, but I do not vomit easy. My friend projectile vomited San Pedro all over his kitchen floor. This was many years ago. Truly it is one of the nastiest things I've consumed.
  3. Ding, ding, ding... we have a winner.
  4. Absolutely they're human. They might embody and point to some deeper wisdom and truth about life, but they are fundamentally no different from you and I. I think that if a lot of people really knew the truth about these "guru's" lives they'd be profoundly disappointed at how normal they are.
  5. I hate to be that guy. But video games are a complete waste of time and completely antithetical to your growth as a person. The reason why video games are fun in the first place is that they are life on easy mode, straight forward goals and easy rewards. Video games are the media equivalent of fast food. You can always try to rationalize it by saying video games are art, or something like that, but you're simply not being honest with yourself. Sometimes when something seems fun you have to be extremely skeptical about whether or not its good for you. True growth is almost always uncomfortable at least in some fashion. Play your games, but look at it in the same way if you cracked on your diet and ate a bowl of icecream, because that's exactly what you're doing. You're engaging in an addictive behavior.
  6. Lol it's as if some of you people want to look at Leo's balls under the microscope and criticize the individual creases in his nuts or something. Let the guy call someone dumb, who cares? We're all human lol, he has no obligation to fit your view of how he should act.
  7. I couldn't make it very far through OP's post. You want to vote for Trump because of the riots? What do the riots have to do with Biden's policy platform? Trump stands for free speech? Doesn't he file defamation and libel suites every chance he gets? Doesn't he even want to change the libel laws in his favor? Conversely, how is Biden against free speech? I can't take your opinion seriously, OP. You might as well say you don't want to vote for Biden because his name starts with 'B' just like the word 'butthole' and buttholes are bad. You're maybe a half notch from making points at that level of intellect.
  8. OP's political ideology in its entirety: Government scary, government bad Constitution good I'd recommend digging a little deeper, man.
  9. That's the impression you got, OP? My impression is that he's an average dude with some musical talent and somewhat delusional and grandiose ideas about what he can accomplish. He had nothing interesting or insightful to say. I don't hate the guy, I just think he's very average in intellect but thinks he's a genius, he even refers to himself as one in the interview.
  10. Honestly, the best way, the way I'd recommend is to just pick an issue you personally care about. Go learn the arguments on both sides in depth. Debate with people about the subject. You'll probably naturally branch out from there. What's something in the world today you personally care about?
  11. Centrism isn't even a real political position dude. It's political relativism. You're only a centrist relative to the generally held political positions of a given time. If you admit to being a centrist you're just too lazy to actually formulate a real understanding of policy and the direction human civilization should go. The only valid centrist is one who does it simply as a form of compromise within our political system in order to shift policy one direction or the other.
  12. His benzo addiction probably caused that very existential crisis. Benzo's are existential nightmare in a pill if you take them long term. Go look at JP's podcast with his daughter that details his detox from them. JP's experience was the stuff of nightmares.
  13. Lol, some of you guys are being such prudes. Lets be real here, I'd probably be worse in that situation. I'd flirt with her and probably ask her out for drinks after with the full intention of coitus. I think Giuliani is at worst guilty of being a bit of a creep taking advantage of what looked to him like a far younger, impressionable, journalist.
  14. I used to struggle with the idea of so much suffering in the world. I think you gain some sense of peace with it if you take full responsibility for your own life in the sense that you do everything you can to further your own development as a person. The best way to change the world and reduce suffering is to further your own spiritual development. The rest you simply leave to God, so to speak.
  15. So, I got a chance to watch the movie last night. And man, I can usually appreciate dark and edgy humor, but I felt he crossed the line into unfunny a handful of times. Particularly the schtick where he dresses up as a racist caricature of a Jew and talks to the two holocaust victims who happened to be two wonderful old ladies with hearts of gold was a bit much for me. He learns from them that the holocaust was not a hoax and begins to get overly happy that the holocaust happened amid his interaction. Ah man, that literally feel so flat for me it was 2D. For someone to go through such horrendous suffering and be such a loving and open person in the face of that and then to be used as the butt end of a cheap edgy gag for a Borat movie seems like a massive insult to everything life and humanity is supposed to be about. Given the full context of the movie, I felt it was very mediocre which made the Giuliani bit come across as forced and as manipulated as is was. I think most people who watch it will see through it.
  16. Overall, I felt Biden came across well. Trump just doesn't have the same pop he had in 2016. He felt really deflated.
  17. Sacha Baron Cohen is making a habit of assassinating Republican politicians.
  18. Tell me, where does the feeling of boredom reside in infinite love and pure presence?
  19. Right, it's the ego mind wanting to avoid one thing and crave another. That's my fundamental issue with the post. This guy basically just concocted a psychedelic horror story of a narrative.
  20. Simple question. Enlightenment is experience of direct consciousness, pure acceptance, pure presence. Now asnwer me this. Why would you then want to avoid one state of consciousness and desire another if you are fully Enlightened?
  21. So you listed a couple of accidental gaffs, which happens when you speak for a living. And the fact that she wouldn't debate the most overrated political hack in the world Ben Shapiro? Come on, dude, give the girl a break. I don't even think she's 30 yet.
  22. Lmao, that guy next to Logan had a funny question about how Sadguru's sort of thinking is a luxury. Meanwhile across the world people who literally have nothing are the people who are the deepest in spiritual practice. Too funny.
