  1. Probably not, considering it's sort of motivated by a sort of Neanderthal desire to dominate others in a violent way. MMA in it's current form is extremely exploitative of its athletes in a way that's really gross. It reduces human beings to meaty objects to be used to create a spectacle for the sake of profit. It coldly sacrifices the health of it's participants for entertainment for the masses. Does this sound like the sport of a highly advanced society?
  2. I understood him pretty easily. I think you should get off Leo's nuts to be honest.
  3. Some of you in this thread lack the social awareness to see why you're coming across as dumb or ignorant. A thread about rape is not the time or place to be talking about the objectivity of moral standards, or philosophize about spirituality. It's good to have some tact and be conscious of what might trigger others emotionally. You wouldn't walk into your friends mothers funeral and tell everyone they're dumb for being sad because death isn't real and everyone is God. Have some god damned sense, you idiots.
  4. No, he means literally inhabiting someone else's body. Like if I were able to inhabit your body and make you do jumping Jack's for example. It's a very real ability.
  5. Yup, there's someone on this forum who can do this (not me). They are my spiritual teacher and they can inhabit my body at will and do all sorts of other things. It's quite incredible, it's become just a normal part of my life.
  6. I went through the same experience last year same approximate time frame. The second time you go to hell for the sake of spiritual progress you are allowed to consent to it. At least in my case it is. Good luck if you choose to round 2. Hells a tough teacher, understatement of the century I know.
  7. Arbitrary and dumb. There's a lot of irony of attempting to create a rigid, numerical, and objective system which calculates spiritual "power levels." The concept in it of itself is low consciousness from my point of view.
  8. Psychics are very real, but I wouldn't look for them in Fiverr. Look for accomplished yogis, stay in spiritual circles and you may stumble across what you're looking for. I will say I don't think that it's something you can learn like weaving baskets. Magical powers are something that God does, not ego's.
  9. A lot of ego's fearing hell in this thread. It's understandable, it's a fear ingrained in you from birth. Mostly from religious conditioning. I've dealt with that too.
  10. I always thought of reincarnation in a less literal sense, like as in you (god) are reincarnated infinitely living all possible lives. But I never took it as a linear timeline of birth and death, or where you get reincarnated based on how moral you were.
  11. I've drank a lot of apple cider vinegar, didn't know it did anything to your pineal gland. For me it always just suppressed appetite, helped blood sugar, and reduced water retention.
  12. Gave it a watch. Great video, look forward to more. ?
  13. UBI as a flat unchanging amount of money for everyone is a very poor idea. Economies fluctuate and constantly change, with that so does the need for income redistribution. You have to monitor a lot of variables, the most important being inflation rates, and tie your level of income redistribution to said variables. Something better would be tax rates that fluctuate based on constantly monitoring of economic variables, where it is possible to have a negative tax rate for people lower on the socioeconomic ladder. An Andrew Yang style UBI would be a terrible idea. You'd end up overheating the economy at some point and because of how slow the legislative process is and the popularity of free money for the masses you would have an extremely hard time getting rid of UBI, meanwhile damage is being done to your economy as the value of your currency dwindles down the toilet. Not to mention you're giving the UBI to everyone, including the hyper wealthy? That's an utter waste of spending. Far better to do a targeted wealth redistribution that can be turned up or down based on where the economy is at.
  14. Maybe sticking an ice pick in my balls is the right choice.
  15. Space literally doesn't exist. Everything exists relative to everything else. If there exists one object in a universe is it possible for it to move in any direction? No, because there is nothing else to be relative to in terms of location. The single object literally exists perpetually in the center of that universe. Infinite nothing expanding outward forever on all sides. Create a universe with two objects and you can now move each object relative to eachother. So, the appearance of distance or space is created by the objects themselves, therefore it is a property of the objects. The mere existence of the second object creates the possibility of the appearance of space. The space in between has no properties. Nothing changed with the space itself, the only thing that changed from the first example universe is the existence of a second object. Space, distance, or dimensions implies the properties existing within nothingness. Nothingness has no properties, there are zero dimensions. There is only the appearance of dimensions because of relativity of things or objects that exist within nothingness. There is only ever present eternal nothing.
  16. It's good you're being honest about yourself. Empathy is a beautiful thing. It sounds like you've been seriously hurt in the past. I hope you can heal whatever is making you feel that way about yourself and others.
  17. Nah, you literally could give everyone 1 trillion dollars without reducing government spending 1 dollar. Obviously that would be catastrophic, but it's possible in our current system. The debt number is entirely irrelevant. The only thing that matters is inflation rate, that's it. That's the only limiting factor.
  18. Debt created by the central bank doesn't matter. It's effectively a zero interest loan that never has to be paid back. The only issue is inflation from injecting large sums of money into the economy. Our debt will expand to infinity, it does not matter in the way you think it does.
  19. I was speaking poetically and describing what that photo was to me. It could be photoshopped, doesn't make a difference. I wasn't trying to get into a debate over details.
  20. That's the will of a enlightened soul, absolutely unbreakable. If there were ever a photo that encapsulates spirituality taken to it's finality this is it.
  21. For the record, I was actually thinking of a post outside of this thread when I wrote this. This point is more relevant on this topic, so I hope no one felt like I was belittling their answer. Specifically @Nahm I saw you answered something along those lines and I didn't want you to feel I was doing that to you. ?
  22. If I ask if I should participate in a yoga practice I feel like a third of this forum would respond with: "there is no person to do yoga." While true, it doesn't really answer the question.
  23. The dangers are psychological. To expand on @Natasha's point I've found that after extensive work the ego can have backlash. It is where the ego bucks and writhes with emotional pain. You can experience some intense levels of fear and desire to do behaviors that perpetuate the ego's growth and existence. You could have great urge to do toxic and addictive behaviors and in more extreme cases have suicidal thoughts. It's important to keep in perspective that this spiritual sickness can be a natural part of the process of moving towards the goal and to respond in a healthy manner. The level that this issue arises is proportional with how much and how intensely you practice. So if you are going at an easy pace you will likely only have very mild issues here and there.
  24. They are in a deeply meditative state on a regular basis. Meditation is about quieting the mind. Just because someone isn't sitting in full lotus with eye's closed does not mean they aren't meditating.
  25. When a group of people are extremely passionate about the same thing and gather together to further their cause it will naturally look like a cult to the sheep and zombies. The greatest cult I see is the cult of complacency, comfort, delusion and self-hatred that is modern society.
