Plain and simple: most people are lazy to actually find the True answers to your/their questions themselves. They don't really know the things they are talking about, and you questioning them makes them face Truth within themselves. Most people are not ready for that thing. Many people tell me this very often. It's mainly on dating sites or on sites where you talk to people. I don't use dating sites anymore though, and even when I used them it was to practice social skills and getting used to get out of the comfort zone, nothing more. It happened a few times that when I said one thing people would assume I meant another very shady thing. And I was shocked every time because those things never even crossed my mind. And they always think I'm tricking them for whatever unknown reason they don't even mention, they simply say "there's something not right about you". What would be some reasons people assume these things? It's extremely strange since I always considered myself very innocent and I never tricked anyone. I'm actually extremely honest and direct. And.. sigh, I can't believe I'm asking for this, but.. To people who see me posting often on here: what kind of vibe do I give? Could it be my vibe?

@brugluiz I didn't want to sound like I'm labeling people with colours, sorry if it sounded like that. I totally get what you mean and you are right. I simply thought it would be easier to point to certain characteristics in a fellow human being if I used SD labels. I see many people using them on the forum. I wasn't realizing I sounded like a hypocrite lol. It wasn't my intention to demonize anyone. I'll be more careful with my wording next time, thanks. @ajasatya As I said in the top post, I'm also working on these values and that's why I won't look for such a person now. It was just a hypothetical question. And well, I can still have my preferences of what kind of person I'm looking for in a relationship. I know it sounds like a filter when it is said out loud. And maybe I'm also the kind of technical minded person, so that's why it might have sounded a bit "cold". But I think you're getting lost in the details of my post instead of trying to see what I mean. Besides, this was just an idealized scenario I wanted to get off my chest so I could express my wants and deepest desires in life. I was under the assumption that in this forum it is advised to be radically honest about what we feel. I probably should have taken better care to formulate my post more properly instead of sounding like a spoiled child. My apologies for the confusion. @Serotoninluv I have felt glimpses of the Turquoise unconditional love and I tried to embody it many times, but without a solid Orange stage foundation it all crumbles it seems, and I tend to lack that foundation myself. @thehero That's sorta how I feel about most of the society I live in. But I try to remind myself: Be the change you want to see in the world.

I don't think there's too much point in arguing about enlightenment when you don't embody it yourself. If you were enlightened you probably wouldn't ask these questions. So you're obviously come from a place of ignorance. What's your point trying to convince everyone from your place of ignorance? I remember having the same questions as you maybe a year ago or so. I recommend that you keep studying it if it's something that has meaning/value to you, and only ask questions when you're on the Path. I suggest also that you keep an open mind when you ask questions. Skepticism is more than fine, but it would be nice if you actually wanted to receive the answers as well. Not trying to insult you anywhere in this reply, I just don't really get your attitude towards the answers we try to give you.

I think you're pretty active on the forum, so if you see a person in particular that seems like someone valuable to you, chat them up in PM. Make sure you have a clear intent though. Maybe they won't be your mentors, don't even try asking them that lol, but if you have something specific to talk about that they can guide you through, that should be good for a start.
