  1. Yes. That might be true. He was a gambler and a drug addict.
  2. Hi. I'm observing and making distinctions between top USA journalists all the time, including @Leo Gura. I'm fascinated by their way of articulating understanding. This topic will have a lot of questions because I want to get to the bottom of it. How come all these journalists and speakers talk so well? Are they practicing mind-talk, speaking out loud, and contemplation all the time? Or it just comes naturally to them? Are they great speakers because their parents instilled in them a curiosity about speaking in public and they developed their skills throughout their childhood unconsciously? I'll summarize my curiosities with questions. 1. The greatest public speakers, including journalists, they must have a clear mind to be able to talk so clearly, right? 2. They are using contemplation all the time to develop their skills, right? 3. Are their speaking skills developed consciously or unconsciously? 4. At some point in their lives, when they decided to be in the business of public speaking, how did they know what to do in order to develop their speaking skills? 5. Are there people who develop skills throughout their childhood unconsciously? I'm asking all these questions because I didn't know that competent people have skills. I didn't know anything about skills. I thought that skills come naturally, or do they?
  3. @Leo Gura, if I eat pure N,N-DMT with Peganum harmala, it will take effect, right? Do I have to eat Peganum harmala as well or just smoke it?
  4. Are you willing to make an episode about the healing of your past trauma with [p]sychedelics?
  5. Hi. I have a problem when I'm trying to talk in front of a camera. I always speak through the 'how are the others perceiving me' filter. I have an unnecessary filter that blocks my ability to communicate well. I always have the feeling that anything I say in front of a camera doesn't sound well. I feel like people will judge in a negative manner all I'm about to say when recording a video. It sucks!
  6. I just stumbled upon this tweet: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/4821352/fd00be0130c3226bca12fa351f235da5 His account: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/4821369/8aabceed2b9e5c4735cb4e364b07429d It is scary!! It's unbelievable what YouTube does. They don't allow free expression on their platform. Plain and simple. This subject is about expressing yourself freely on social media. We all know that examples of porn or terrorism are not suitable for the YouTube platform. That's why we shouldn't bother talking about those things.
  7. No. They shouldn't be forced to allow bestiality, porn, torturing videos, people promoting racial beatings, etc. - they should be forced to allow free expression in the context of speaking freely, even if it's considered to be "hate speech".
  8. At first, when I started this topic, I emphasized the importance of watching this video. If you didn't see the video, watch it NOW. It's important. On the other hand, YouTube is no longer a platform where you can express yourself freely. Many conservative videos are taken down by YouTube because they are considered to be "hate speech". If you talk about illegal aliens, that's considered "hate speech". If you are in favor of closed borders, that's also "hate speech". Freedom of speech should be mandated on YouTube as it applies to every citizen of the United States. Why are companies exempted from the 1st amendment? We should enforce the 1st amendment to any socializing platform in America. That's the best solution.
  9. I've found a video about the cause of ADHD. Here's the link, for anyone who's interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqRec-K4qY4 It's very important to see the lecture from the beginning to the end. @Leo Gura, you should too take a look at it.
  10. Hi. I've been watching this lecture on ADHD. It is by far the greatest lecture I've ever seen. You'll get to understand what "ADHD" really is and how it's impacting your precious life. 'ADHD' is an invisible enemy that's constantly sabotaging your performance in life. As long as you have ADHD, you can't feel good, you can't regulate your emotions and you can't use your executive functions in a proper manner. Thus, as long as you can't feel good in your own body you can't be happy. ADHD is ruining your life without a shadow of a doubt. Many people with 'ADHD' don't even know they have ADHD. That's truly sad because a person with ADHD can't experience clarity of thought, clarity of mind, and impeccable feel-good emotions. People with ADHD have no idea how does it feel to feel good. Get that? It's unbelievable. They're not conscious of their ADHD problem. They live life in an awful state of negativity and impulsiveness thinking that how they feel is completely normal. Constant suffering is not the way. @Leo Gura should learn more about this subject because he's able to communicate information about ADHD in a much clear manner than me or others.
  11. Do you have this book in a .PDF format? I would love to read it if you could send it to me.
  12. Yes. Trauma is at the root of an ADHD problem. A traumatized brain doesn't develop properly. The issue is that @Leo Gura is not that much interested in this subject. What happens when the head of Actualized.org is not interested in a very important issue like ADHD? Solving-problem ADHD videos won't appear on the Actualized.org YouTube channel. What happens when solving-problem ADHD videos won't appear on the Acualized.org YouTube channel? Lots of people will miss important information that could change their lives completely, obviously in a good way. What happens when lots of people are missing important information about the root issue of an ADHD problem? They never get to change their lives. Just kidding. Leo is entitled to do whatever he wants with his YouTube channel.
  13. Watch the entire lecture and you'll understand that ADHD is not a focus problem.
  14. Okay. I understand that. I've been doing massive research in the area of ADHD and the last thing I expected when it comes to the cause of ADHD was trauma. A trivial thing like "trauma" is the root of ADHD. People don't understand that. You have no idea what happens to the brain when it constantly develops in survival mode.
  15. It seems legit to you to doubt my affirmation but I challenge you to study the work of Dr. Gabor Mate about ADHD and trauma. Your worldview will shift completly. I can guarantee that.
  16. You should appreciate this lecture before throwing words like 'blubber his mouth'. You have no idea how rare it is to find out good information on the Internet.
  17. Not really. This lecture is purely about understanding the impairments of ADHD and how it operates. It's an amazing explanation. Anyway, what really causes ADHD is trauma, a lack of attachment between a kid and his parents. Love is crucial in the first years of a child. When a kid lacks attention from the parent, that kid doesn't feel loved. From there, the kid's brain is constantly developing in survival mode (stress, worry, low self-esteem), which causes a delay in the development of the prefrontal cortex. The limbic system and other parts of the primitive brain develop much faster than they should; at some point, those primitive parts of the brain take over the frontal lobe.
  18. Hi. I recently found this video on YouTube, a video related to the importance of your microbiome in immune system functioning. If you have health problems, the first thing you should do is restore your microbiome; to make it powerful again. If you don't know what the microbiome is, read this. A short description of the microbiome would mean a system made of healthy gut bacteria that helps your body, including your immune system. If you want to have a healthy microbiome, you need to eat only healthy foods. You should give up on refined carbohydrates, including bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, and sugars. You should eat more healthy fats like butter. I'm specifically saying butter because it contains butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid that provides fuel for the cells of our gut lining, supports immune system functions of the colon wall and protects against certain diseases of the digestive tract. I can guarantee that people who give up unhealthy foods will feel a lot better. When it comes to food we should know that food is medicine. Here's a quote by Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Another one by Hippocrates: "If you want to heal somebody, ask him if he's willing to give up the things that brought him in this situation." A healthy lifestyle is necessary.
  19. Hi. We live in the best society that has ever existed on planet Earth. As I was contemplating the greatest things society has to offer, I became shocked at people's ignorance. We have everything we want, which includes electricity, infrastructure, medicine, science, math, and so forth. The million-dollar question is why do we have all those things? This question led me to analysis about how were those things made and about the people who made them. What should we do to ensure a stable society like this? Is the family unit important? Is the value of freedom important? What is important?
  20. Gay people should have their own rights, of course, but that doesn't mean we should mandate legislation in favor of gay marriage. The definition of marriage is clearly a bond between a man and a woman. Otherwise is not marriage.
  21. Reality is an awesome projection. What can be more magnificent than reality?
  22. Hello. In this video, @Leo Gura talked about the importance of learning how to use our minds. He mentioned that people who learn how to use their minds are deep thinkers and never manual laborers. I actually agree with Leo's point of view. Learning how to use your mind is fundamental when it comes to mastery & self-actualization. The million-dollar question is how does the mind work? That's what we need to find out. Is self-observation a great tool for learning how the mind works? Is meditation a good tool when it comes to understanding the mechanisms of the mind?
  23. I agree. Panic is not the ultimate answer.
  24. No. It's not a childish notion. People should love their rights when it comes to freedom of speech.
  25. Yes. I knew that. In this case, it was YouTube that took down the video. They admitted that. That's why I started this topic. Otherwise it wouldn't be such a problem. YouTube should be the guardian of free speech, not the opposite.
