  1. Hello. Thank you for opening this great topic. First of all, be aware of the fact that you don't need too many friends. Second, be aware of the fact that loneliness is just an illusion. In my case, I like to do personal development work and I don't find myself being lonely. Why? Because loneliness is the thing that grounds me. You need to be "lonely" to Self-Actualize. If you really wanna grow you have to face this issue of loneliness all by yourself. Start a meditation habit. Meditate on a daily basis. Raise your awareness because it's very important. Over time you will see the positive side of this. You have to fix this issue FIRST before making friends. Good luck!
  2. Hello. By being authentic you discover your true self which is one of the most important things you can do. You'll feel free and expressive. It really doesn't matter what others think of you.
  3. Hello. Thank you for opening this great topic of Self-Actualization. I started this journey on February 14 (2018) when I was trying to set up a meditation habit. I didn't understand much about meditation and I failed. I abandoned the practice for two weeks and I felt bad about it. Then I was watching this video to understand what exactly meditation is and how meditation can transform my life. It convinced me! Since March I meditate every day. I have no skips. The benefits are enormous. I feel more calm. I have fewer negative thoughts and I feel better. Everyone should meditate DAILY. Another part of my Self-Actualization is reading books. I started to read almost on a daily basis. I gain new insights. It works and I'm happy about it. The biggest challenge right now for me is social anxiety. I did a lot of research online about anxiety. I learned how the conscious and subconscious mind works. I'm doing some progress. By shining awareness on any problem... the problem will dissipate in the end. I still have much more work to do but it makes me happy. It's the right thing to do.
  4. Hello. The only solution to this is to be AWARE when you have these thoughts of guilt. Thoughts create emotions. If you can develop a stronger sense of awareness, you will realize that guilt is not that big of a deal. Your sense of guilt will dissipate itself by shining awareness on it. It will take time but that's fine. Good luck.
  5. Hello guys. I've been Self-Actualizing for a while and as the time goes by I find life meaningless. Over two or three months will be even more meaningless. Is this normal?
  6. Hello. From my experience, yes. It ruins your self improvement. I used to smoke weed and drink alcohol. It was a bad experience because it interfered with my work. I couldn't find myself in a productive state. My advice for you is to get rid of any subtle addiction. Good luck.
  7. Hello everyone, My name is Ovidiu. I'm 25 years old and I live in Romania. It's been over two months since I started (my) Self-Actualization. I meditate on a daily basis. Results start to come. I no longer have too many negative thoughts. I feel better. I love this journey. LEO is awesome. We should be grateful for his work.
  8. Reading. Meditating. Watching personal development videos on YouTube. Jordan Peterson has some great videos.
  9. Great. That means it's working. Keep meditating. Don't take your thoughts seriously. Your mind is trying to deceive you. When I was a little bit depressed I used this affirmation: "I think positive." Do it on a daily basis. Five minutes every time. By doing that, your brain will rewire itself into positive thinking. Good luck.
