  1. Hello. Quite recently I found this link (http://www.pa56.org/ross/Buddha.htm) on Google. I was blown away by it and I'm not exaggerating. It provides wisdom. If you want to live a happy life, learn/study and contemplate the teachings. Take a look at this quote: When I read the quote above I realized I can't wear the yellow robe. What's your favorite one from the list? Let's open a great discussion.
  2. Would you rather have deep dreamless sleep or total consciousness? It's TRAGIC if total consciousness experienced on 5-MeO DMT remains after the body is gone (dead) because consciousness might be forever. How can we be sure that total consciousness remains after the body is gone? Don't we need a body to know how total consciousness feels like? Sorry for asking so many questions (I don't wanna be annoying) but I'm really interested in this subject.
  3. When we take 5-MeO DMT we experience total consciousness. When the body is gone (dies), total consciousness remains, right? (that consciousness experienced on the 5-MeO DMT with a body)
  4. Okay @Leo Gura, but after the physical body ceases to exist, there's not even 'nothingness' to experience. You need a brain (a body) to experience total consciousness, right? You need a brain to understand total consciousness, right? Because the consciousness cannot understand itself.
  5. I intellectually (not emotionally or religiously) don't get how someone can look at the Universe and think it came about on its own. Some of you say: "nothing is something". I say: "if nothing is something then nothing isn't nothing". You can't have it both ways.
  6. The mind is a process that produces thoughts. A mind is also able to understand thoughts.
  7. I found it here: http://www.buddhanet.net/ans62.htm
  8. Well, I hope you're not right regarding this matter. That's why I meditate. To purify my mind. And the yellow robe stands for?
  9. I should have said "I realized I can't wear the yellow robe YET." I can't wear the yellow robe YET because my mind is still reckless and full of deceit.
  10. Hello guys. I want to know your perspectives on Buddhism. How do you explain Buddhism? There are a lot of theories online and I don't know what to believe anymore. I just don't wanna suffer. If we're honest about life we have to admit that LIFE IS SUFFERING. A short description of Buddhism will be fine for me. Thanks.
  11. I meditate every single day for 30 minutes. And I also think deeply. I have never tries LSD or Magic Mushrooms.
  12. @Leo Gura - is it possible to dissolve the EGO? I mean complete EGO death. If you know how please let me know.
  13. Sadhguru is wrong. Humans don't have free will. And yes, mystics can be wrong.
  14. Well described. Thank you for sharing your insights with us. Yes, it is possible to live in the present moment. You just have to remind yourself about the present moment on a daily basis. For example, when you go at the bathroom or when you brush your teeth, bring up the present moment. Practice this every single day and your mind will focus on the present moment by default. Don't forget about mindfulness meditation. It can help you a lot.
  15. We aren't able to detect any multiverse system.
  16. In my case Jordan Peterson has helped me a lot. I won't "project much" on him. I love him as a human being. I won't do what most people do here, which is throwing nonsensical bullshit at him. "Oh oh, let's criticize Jordan Peterson for his 'bullshit' and will rain with gold." Hell no! I'm not gonna do that. Some parts of the Blue value system is NECESSARY. If you fail to understand that we are in trouble, and of course you need wisdom.
  17. Hi @Leo Gura. Thank you for responding to me. Let's put aside the non-dual perspective and talk from a materialistic paradigm. It's because of the Blue value system that we have a functioning society today. Some elements of Blue are NECESSARY, as you said in one of your videos. For example, the family value. Without families societies die. Average age of the population in Germany is 47. They aren't having enough kids. Soon will be just a few of them because they FAIL to understand the necessity of the family. Their economy will sink of course but who cares? They like the CHIMP behaviour (sex, clubs, unnecessary social gatherings, gossip, TV and so fort) instead of preferring to raise Rockstar kids. Blue teaches us about family values. What most people who pursue Enlightenment fail to understand that PEOPLE ARE NOT BASICALLY GOOD. If we don't ask the question: "How do we make people good?" we are in trouble. I appreciate Christianity not because I believe in God, but because of its values. Wisdom is necessary. P.S: feminism is CANCER. Socialism doesn't work because Socialism spends what Capitalism creates. Socialism fails every time. Denmark, Sweden, Finland or Norway aren't run by a socialist system.
  18. I still don't understand how can Jordan Peterson speak so clearly? He is so coherent. He speaks with excellency. Why can't I speak like him? Or what should I do to speak like him? How is he able to think like that and articulate his thoughts so clearly?
  19. Hello. Since I'm contemplating 'CONSCIOUSNESS and AWARENESS', I'm having great insights. Awareness is the body which is perceiving stuff. Consciousness is NOT what we perceive. Consciousness is what it is, the existence itself. You are consciousness which is non-dual.
  20. Hello guys. How can we find out if Leo's still meditating? I saw a few videos of his where he tells us to meditate every single day. Well... I do that. I meditate every single day. But is he still meditating? Daily?
  21. Hello guys. I'm working on my subconscious mind. I want to remove the old negative beliefs. I recently read the book Psycho Cybernetics and I watched this video. Sometimes when I put myself in certain situations I feel anxiety. For example, I imagine myself talking with lots of people or talking in public on a stage with a big crowd. When I do these exercises I feel anxiety in the area of my stomach. Is this OK? I do these exercises every single day.
  22. Hello guys. I suffer from SEVERE social anxiety and I started to put myself in social situations where I'm able to talk with a lot of people. But the problem is that I doesn't feel right. I feel like I need to talk NONSENSE to keep a conversation going. After a while I realize that is not a big deal to socialize but it's making me bored. My mind is coming up with questions like: "What am I doing here? Is this necessary for my happiness? Is this 'socializing thing' a waste of time?". Socializing should feel good in the sense that people should like the subjects they talk about. Socializing should feel natural, not unnatural even if the conversation is going fine. And I have this odd feeling that if I talk to people about interesting things like meditation, reality and consciousness they get blown away. When I say 'blown away', I mean they are not interested in these kind of subjects. For them these subjects appear to be interesting but they can't cope with them. It's hard... because the awkwardness driven from anxiety feels like paralysis. It's so hard to get rid of social anxiety. If you're going through a similar situation, I wanna know your thoughts. What did you do to get rid of this burden?
