  1. Ok cool. Let them come to my house. I got a little present waiting for them 🔫
  2. While this is mostly true, it's also true that the US was not an autocracy at that time consuming bogus, alt right media. Bigoted and mean spirited, yes, the US was always that. But they actually had somewhat of a moral compass guiding them and a trust and belief in our government and establishments, not a crusade of alternative media brainwashing them.
  3. I'm glad I never used Facebook. Being a millennial, I remember the early days of the Internet when it was mostly just us geeks and nerds on forums. The idea of normies populating the Internet never felt right to me...
  4. "When someone tells you who they are, believe them" as we say in Chinese.
  5. I can see all these things coming to pass. This is what most Americans voted for, so hopefully they're prepared for the collapse of a once dominant superpower. We're basically repeating the 1930s European Axis powers in the WWII era, all because our citizens are selfish, greedy, idiotic bastards. Hopefully nuclear war doesn't occur, but this may just be the end of humanity, all because a bag of potatoes costing a dollar extra or some shit.
  6. https://x.com/CBSNews/status/1854260418094481806?t=rVENstAy_ZIh1ff-oIkT1Q&s=19 Good job, America! You certainly didn't vote against your own survival, morons! Good job, Latinos and middle easterners! Seems like a smart idea to vote to have your own asses deported!
  7. https://x.com/MeidasTouch/status/1851308109634973944 I'd say pretty damn fucked.
  8. @questionreality Can you get your replies in one post, please? 3+ consecutive posts is clutter.
  9. Facts don't care about your feelings.

  11. I actually feel pity for Trump. He could have done a much better job exposing Kamala's weaknesses. All he did was magnify how unfit, unhinged and checked out from reality he is. The guy is just not okay. Call it a career, bub. Relax and enjoy retirement. You had a good run as a polarizing figure for so long, take the money and run.
  12. The latter. He's unable to focus on policy and rambles like an insane old jackass, so the more that the public gets reacquainted with Donald Trump, the worse off his chances for reelection are.
  13. "They're eating their pets!" Moderator: No they're not. "I saw it on TV!"
  14. This gives me major "If I make a topic about it, maybe I can convince myself it's true" vibes
  15. Kamala is a perfect foil for this guy, she's perfectly exposed him as a complete loon. Well he does it on his own, but still. Better performance from her than I expected.
  16. Elon Musk is a token eccentric, money worshipping, self-aggrandizing billionaire. He's definitely more annoying and obnoxious than other billionaires, quite petty and sensitive as well. But a con artist he is not. Trump, on the other hand, just reeks of being a felonious grifter. Anyone with a shred of common sense could see through his baloney. His only interests are his own selfish gain.
  17. Walz is a good pick. Charismatic, yet plain midwestern man that Republicans are going to have a very difficult time attacking effectively, just like they have so far with Kamala.
  18. He's almost 80 and out of shape. It's amazing he can even (somewhat) hold it together for 90 minute ramblings.
  19. I really wonder what the future of the Republican party holds post-Trump. His VP pick Vance is just as socially awkward and out of touch as DeSantis. No one has proven that they can out-Trump Trump and reach his level of moxie and charisma. Aside from him who is unapologetically himself, Republicans leaders just come across as off-putting, delusional, and weird.
  20. Man, these billionaires have no shame. Trump has crapped on Musk how many times? Musk re-enabled Trump's Twitter account hoping that he would post again and Trump gave him the finger.
  21. Sorry, but no. I'll take the criminal prosecutor over the felon on the smarts scale. Don't confuse charm with intelligence.
  22. Trump had the second most votes for a presidential candidate ever, problem for him is Biden had the most. Honestly, if a once in 100 years pandemic didn't happen during an election year, and Trump's horrible response to it and the civil unrest that followed the George Floyd murder, he would have been re-elected. But people have terrible memories and absence makes the heart grow fonder. We saw Biden decline in mental acuity during his presidency and Trump seemed like a stronger option in comparison, and he was well aware of that. Now he's going against someone much younger and mentally sharper than he is, so let's see how he reacts.
