  1. Perhaps adding a moat with alligators and snakes that MAGA needs to cross to reach the capital building. Imagine a boat full of MAGA led by Captain Viking Guy.
  2. It reminds me of watching livestreams of the biggest BLM rally in Portland. There were tens of thousands of protestors and hundreds of heavily armored feds to protect the federal building. Everyone knew that if the protestors pull down the fence, there would be a massive fed/police response and many people would be injured in the conflict. The majority of people on the livestream came to see a confrontation and got annoyed watching protestors merely shake the fence and throw minor fireworks into the courtyard. The chat was filled with comments like "This is boring!!", "How much longer do we have to wait?", "I want to see some action! Tear down the fence! Let's goooo!".
  3. Sometimes setting an intention can be helpful. This can give us clarity about our orientation. We could set an intention of "tonight I want to breakthrough". Yet to me, that has a yucky vibe to it because it suggests a breakdown precedes a breakthrough. I've had many uncomfortable trips in the "sub-ego death zone". Much of it was due to fear of the unknown. My body didn't know what was safe and what was unsafe. It went into fight or flight, holding on because who tf knows what would happen if I don't have a sense of presence here and now. I could go crazy and do all sorts of stupid shit. What if I harmed someone? My mind and body was trying to protect itself and me - and that is a loving thing for a mind and body to do. If the mind and body communicate "don't go there", I would be mindful about how much resistance is present and if there is a sense of forcing the mind-body to do something before it's ready. Tonight during my breath session, my intention was to flow. To have a flow state of consciousness with whatever was arising. That sounds much more appealing than "struggle and breakthrough". Once in the zone, there were things happening in my mind and body I didn't like. Yet that was all part of the Flow. It was all part of the Music. And I experienced a few new breathing rhythms and energetics. . . If you haven't done so, you might want to try Breathwork. It's a great way to train the body to relax into the parasympathetic nervous system into flow states. And yes, one can reach trans-egoic states of consciousness through breathing. One of my most profound trips was watching planet earth. A deep sense of unity with nature arose. There was a segment on penguins and I *got it*. There was such deep love and understanding for these penguins. I totally got why someone would spend years of their life in the arctic observing and filming these miraculous creatures. It was like I was there with them. It was like I was a penguin. There was no separation between "me" and a "penguin". Voila! A "breakthrough"! One needn't journey to some astral plane (although that can be awesome). Trans-egoic states arise Here and Now - whether that is a completely relaxed mind-body merging with an infinite starry sky or a scared mind-body watching planet earth. Yet it's easier to realize when the mind-body is relaxed than it is when the mind-body is pumping out stress hormones.
  4. Keep in mind that half of MAGA sincerely believe that the election was stolen and communists are coming to take over. It is a life or death situation for them. And a considerable number of MAGAs have weapons and have been preparing for years for an armed rebellion against against the evil communists. And some are professionally trained. There are some ex-military and special ops guys that got radicalized into MAGA.
  5. Even with a failed conviction vote, at least Dems tried to hold Trump accountable and it would put republicans on record.
  6. That assumes a declining Trump / MAGA still has more influence on republican lawmakers than a declining McConnell (who will have much less power as the minority leader). Now that I think about it, I could see McConnell giving tepid support of impeachment and a nod to "vote your conscious" - without having much of an effect - perhaps giving cover for another 3-4 senators to vote to convict, bringing the total to about 8. Getting to 17 may require McConnell to strongly support impeachment and whip his colleagues (unlikely) or more violence in MAGA to erupt (perhaps more likely).
  7. I see a lot of right wingers trying to equivocate violence within Blm protests to violence within MAGA protests. Do you think that average Orange is starting to see the differences between underlying motivation? Even though Blm has pockets of violence, the underlying cause is to overcome systemic racism and move toward equality (Green). In contrast, the underlying motivation of MAGA extremists is to overturn a fair election and move toward authoritarianism (Blue). Given the choice, average Orange seems to be transitioning toward Green.
  8. The federal response still seems somewhat tepid to me. It's been six days and finally the FBI gives a press brief. Six days! And they didn't even send FBI leadership. They sent out an assistant director in charge of the Washington field office and an acting U.S. attorney. That seems like a tepid response to me. I find the leaked news about McConnell supporting impeachment to be much more influential. That would open floodgates to republican support. Yet it is still unconfirmed and McConnell would need to make a public statement. Yet it's encouraging that McConnell has denied the reports
  9. The NYT is reporting: Senator Mitch McConnell is said to believe that the impeachment effort will make it easier to purge President Trump from the party. And Representative Kevin McCarthy has asked other Republicans whether he should call on Mr. Trump to resign in the aftermath of the Capitol siege. If this is true and McConnell publicly comes out against Trump to purge him from the party, there would be a wave of republican support and I'd predict a senate conviction. Those are still big IFs though. If there is another riot with violence - that would push McConnell. I'm also unsure about the technicalities of conviction and disqualification. Conviction requires a 2/3 senate majority and disqualification is a simple majority. There is easily a simple majority to disqualify, yet I read that the votes are sequential. First a president needs to be convicted by 2/3 vote and then they vote whether to disqualify by simple majority. If that is true, disqualification essentially requires a pre-ceding 2/3 majority.
  10. At this point, any violent acts from MAGA will have amplified bad optics. Especially since Trumper politicians are half-assing it. Trump is on the decline, yet Trumpism will be re-branded. Similar to how the "Tea Party" morphed into Trumpism, Trumpism will morph into something new. Hopefully that creature won't be as harmful. Yes, there suffering is real and they have been given scapegoats for the suffering (immigrants, minorities, socialists, welfare recipients), when most of their suffering can be traced to extreme wealth inequality. And their suffering is getting grifted by devilish opportunists - those wanting to exploit them for their own ambition and greed. "Stop the Steal" fundraising has raised 100s of millions of dollars - those struggling to pay their bills are donating their last dollars to those that manufactured lies and fear. They prey on vulnerable people. There are a lot of people terrified that Venezuela stole the election and will turn the U.S. into a horrific communist collapse. Ironically, to heal from this we would need to invest into social programs to help those that have been traumatized by Trumpism. As well as their children. There are 10s of millions of children exposed to toxic Trumpism everyday in their homes. That conditioning can't simply be let go of. They are going to carry that into adulthood, yielding repressed anger, fear, unhealthy relationships, maladjustment to life etc. that will need various types of therapy to heal. I hope that therapeutic methods will advance fast enough to treat it.
  11. Introspection from within and extrospection from those that have a higher level of development. There are various methods and environments for this, yet it can be challenging and uncomfortable. Intention seems to be an essential element. And the layers keep going deeper and deeper.
  12. Will the national guard be armed? It's quite the dilemma. On the one hand, I'd want to be prepared for an armed insurrection. Yet on the other hand, a militarized presence and overzealous initial response can escalate. De-escalation is also important and that starts now. Unfortunately, those that have the most power to de-escalate or not doing so. If Trump gave daily speeches saying that he exhausted all his legal options, strongly condemned any violence and that we need to allow for a peaceful transfer of power and move on - it would de-escalate by marginalizing fringe groups. The half-ass statements by Trump and his sycophants look disingenuous and forced. As well, Trump's visit to Alamo to highlight his border wall is a major escalation. GOP groups are already promoting MAGA protest events. If Trump has conceded (as he allegedly has), then why are GOP groups promoting protest events by consent of Trump? He should be discouraging such events.
  13. The user @Grapevine has been given a temporary suspension for multiple warnings (from multiple moderators) of verbal abuse, misuse of the DM system and using multiple accounts. As a general statement: part of self-actualization and personal development is taking personal responsibility. It's about facing aspects of ourselves and working through it - even when those aspects are uncomfortable. Behaviors such as wearing masks and blaming others to avoid personal accountability is the opposite of personal growth. Avoiding, repressing, pretending and portraying onto others are clogged pipes that block us from purifying ourselves of conditioned toxins and realizing our higher nature. I know what it's like to be uncomfortable in my own skin, being reactive and doing things like having multiple identities to pretend I'm someone else. And I know it's not easy to uncover, discover and discard such things. And it is disruptive at a community level. Ideally, we are a community of imperfect beings that support each other toward healing, growth, realization and expansion. Creating multiple accounts to play different characters or to bypass previous warnings is disingenuous to oneself and the community. And it is disruptive to forming a cohesive community. I hope that every person that joins actualized can expand their conscious through healing, personal growth, cognitive development, transcendence etc. Yet to do so, there needs to be an environment in which such growth can manifest.
  14. Some nice multi-perspectival integration of a complex problem. In terms of communication, I like how the speakers are synthesizing various views together, without being personally attached to a particular view and arguing against others. It is like they are constructing a systemic map together. This is a core feature of Tier 2 mindsets.
  15. That’s how implicit communication often operates. Many receivers are not consciously aware, yet are impacted subconsciously through feelings. It is a key component of implicit communication. When Giuliani yells to a mob that the election was stolen from us and when need to take back output country with “trial by combat”, the enraged people in the mob are not rationally thinking “Is Giuliani using the term term ‘combat’ literally or figuratively”. It’s not a communications class with rational thinkers, it’s an angry mob that had been conditioned to be angry over months. When they here that rhetoric it fuels rage a d a “Let’s get those bastards!!!” response.
  16. A good read, with details and nuances. I particularly liked how the author created three distinctions of semantic, contextual, and stereotype-dependent. That mindset will keep a mind unaware of implicit communication and makes the mind vulnerable to subconscious manipulation. This maintains the mind’s contraction within a particular ideology and creates distorted perceptions. You stated your views are “just another opinion”, yet each opinion does not have the same resolution, scale, sophistication and clarity. If you are interested in expanding your consciousness, I recommend reading the above article to become more aware of implicit communication.
  17. I noticed Alex focused on purple aspects to criticize Q, such as witches and warlocks.
  18. We wanted a Ferrari and ended up with a pair of roller skates. Yet better than being in quicksand.
  19. A mob leader is not going to call someone and explicitly say “Ok Jimmy, you used my weapons to rob the First National Bank in Los Angelos, California on September 7th at 2:47 pm. You got away with 2.3M dollars, yet haven’t paid me my 1.5M share. Meet me at Pier 23 tomorrow at 5:00pm with my money or my goons will break your daughter’s legs”. It just doesn’t work that way. Mob leaders are not that explicit and they don’t overtly orchestrate. They try to add in some plausible deniability. For example, the mob leader may tell Jimmy “I hope you are responsible and pay the money you owe me. . . . And Oh, how’s your daughter doing? She is a freshman at at college, right? Let’s hope she stays safe and nothing bad happens to her”. And if Jimmy doesn’t pay up and his daughter ends up with broken legs, the mob leader has plausible deniability and can say “No, I said I hope she stays safe. I never said I would break her legs”. Only gullible suckers fall for con men like this. Implicit / explicit is on a spectrum. In Trump’s case, he has been fairly explicit with the Ukraine, GA election officials, Pence and his MAGA / Qanon supporters. Leo did a great video on explicit and implicit
  20. Don’t place all the blame on the other person. Do some introspection and take personal responsibility. You yourself are saying that you are taking a position and debating it. In this case, you are taking a mainstream right-wing position. Be genuine. Why try to come across as a detached person with a meta view? It’s obvious you are holding a particular narrative. It’s ok to write about right wing views here as long as you are open to some nuance and aren’t overly dogmatic.
  21. “I’m not right wing! Here is a photo of my political compass showing me with my centrist friend” ? It reminds me of someone saying “I’m not racist!”. And then posts photos of themself with black people to prove how non-racist they are. People that are not right wing, don’t feel the need to post photos proving how non- right wing they are ?
  22. It’s a classic technique used for narrative control. It can be used both offensively and defensively in argumentation. A person presents an assumption as implicitly true. Any challenge to this assumption is a “re-frame”. It is an effort to keep the dialog within one’s pre-established frame. In this case, the framing is that Trump behaved properly and left wing media is politicizing the events and exploiting for their own gain. It’s an effort to launder Trump, portray him as an innocent victim / martyr and shift blame to the media. The only concession in the frame is that the riot was inappropriate, yet the framing distances Trump from the riot and absolves him from any responsibility. It’s also a hyper-simplistic binary frame of left vs right. As well as Trump is either 100% responsible or 0% responsible. It lacks degrees and nuances.
  23. He broke Twitter’s rules and TOS. As well, he may have broken rules of law. We shall see if and what courts decide.
  24. A core problem with a self pardon is its counter the foundation a judicial system is built upon. That is, one cannot be the judge in their own case. Everyone would judge themselves as innocent and the judicial system dies. As well, if someone can be the judge of their own case and judge themself as innocent - it literally puts them above the law.
  25. @tuckerwphotography Sounds like my first Aya ceremony. It was a special full moon ceremony and there were about 150 people there. The music was angelic. An experience of beauty, love, connection and Oneness. Group settings can influence energetics and experience. It depends on person’s mindset/physiology/essence/energetics at that particular moment in time. If the two people closest to you were screaming and crying as they worked through childhood trauma, that may have influenced your trip. One’s sense of love for all might expand or one might get dragged into some darkness. That’s not necessarily a bad thing as darkness contrasts light and both are worthy of experience - yet blissful experiences are generally much easier for the mind and body to handle than having to work through a heavy, intense Aya trip. I wouldn’t worry and create a self-fulfilling prophecy of a struggle-fest. I’d go into any trip with a positive, relaxed mindset. Yet I also wouldn’t be naive. It’s possible that some trips can be heavy, intense and difficult to work through - and may take months to integrate. Since you are new, if you do another Aya ceremony I would be mindful of choosing a group that you trust and resonate with. And I’d sit next to people that have a sense of relaxation, peace and joy about them. I have both love and respect for the substance.
