  1. @Privet I think it's not REALLY ignorance, because i think a lot of us in this forum understand more or less that this is something exceptional to get. The problem here i think is embodying that understanding. in a bunch of areas in life we have "glimpses" of wisdom and we say like "aha, i get it, this is important YEAH LETS DO IT", but then later you dont feel that and its simply forgotten. the knowledge is there if we dig deep enough, but then the hole closes sometimes almost instantly. the question is how do we get it out and splash all over the surface so it will always be there (or at least when it is needed).
  2. like all other things in my life, the extreme feeling that i dont want to do it, in other words that i have to force it to start it, in other words that it doesnt feel natural to start doing it (may be described as laziness but im not sure). dunno how to get rid of that except just continue forcing it until it becomes "natural" didnt happen yet.
  3. i mean, if you saw the goddamn thing, why cant you just come to it again?
  4. yeah, I agree, i think i understand what you guys are saying but thats not what i meant. in order for the body to not do action, it has to force it because the default mode is to do something.
  5. @Shin it's in a different context, "i" as a sense of the body, the body goes through the process.
  6. @orroz but the "I" does all the self inquiry and stuff to get there in the first place.
  7. i guess it just makes the process longer for beginners because cant concentrate, but it goes away with time.
  8. most of the stuff like that is probably just speculation with no proven benefits. i'd say go for the stuff that's known to be beneficial like meditation.
  9. i guess I understood somewhat, it's because people often call enlightenment "realization". usually we realize stuff intellectually, so if we realize something, we can understand the thing by the definition of realizing. on the other hand, enlightenment is an experiential realization and not an intellectual one. it's like winning the lottery, you gotta get all the numbers right to win the prize, the numbers being the circumstances at a time. but in that case, isnt enlightenment just brain stuff? in that case does it really answer our existential questions? can we trust that experience?
  10. I think on the contrary, it will strengthen your acting skills because you will know you are not your body, so you can detach from "your" identity and become another person. besides that, you wont really know until you try, if spirituality is really important to you, you will continue doing it, if acting will keep being important to you, just continue doing it, if not, do something else that you will find to be the best thing, I dont see a problem (because they are not real).
  11. @Privet lol but then it just goes in a loop, it's all just happening.
  12. @ajasatya i guess what he meant to say is what are frequencies themselves. why reinvent the wheel? it will take lifetimes to understand stuff that u can just get from other sources.
  13. @Amit sure, that's what self inquiry and meditation is for. what i meant to say is that what differs thoughts usually from other senses and why it seems confusing.
  14. @Amit thoughts are presence-energy, exactly like other senses, in other words, stuff that are inside consciousness. only difference is that awareness identifies with it.
  15. people here talk about noticable effect and stuff like that from the awakening process. is it just 20 min meditation a day and 1 hr self inquiry a day does it? or theres more stuff
  16. if theres no ego to make great, i guess whats left is only joy and happiness as purpose, so i guess its something that has to do with more joy filled presence? and i guess advancing and being more and more self actualized as a side quest?
  17. @Martin123 what the vid's about, it's a bit long , just in a sentence or two
  18. sure, it's easy to just say that that, im working on it. but if I already realized that why would I ask that question in the first place? and if I already realized that how would your post help in the first place... see?
  19. sure its made up, but how do I deal with the senses I feel when the "problem" takes effect in the present.
