Why don't you date a slut then?

Although weed use can be seriously dangerous, I welcome the openness. A lot of people were being jailed for simply possessing even minor quantities of it, which I saw as unfair.

So I was meditating the other day, and I kept falling in and out of consciousness, I began contemplating on the nature of reality and how the world operated and this thing called God realization, it was difficult because there was a deep sense of disturbance and discomfort that I wasn't able to work through, some shadow aspects lashing out at me. At one point, I had a beautiful glimpse into infinity, and then it switched to once again the same shadow aspects of human judgement, morality yada yada, and then a voice downloaded itself and told me that nothing matters, just absolutely nothing matters, and everything is perfect as it is and suddenly it said that self compassion is the highest most beautiful goal, it didn't matter if love didn't exist, love had to be created, everything comes from nothing and nothingness is what everything leads to, some of my anxiety was alleviated and there it was..... In a cloud of smoke an entity standing there and saying "self compassion."

To judge someone as frivolous is in itself a Huge shadow. Being able to love someone who you might not consider worthy of the league you belong to requires some serious Humility and non judgement and I would rather appreciate someone who values conventionally non-valuable people versus someone who acts too up his own ass and snobbish and takes himself too seriously to date his own league, something too elitist and dunce about it.

There is no evil.. Only the absence of love.

I love coffee and I appreciate his holistic take. Coffee helped me get out of my worst times.

Allowing your daughter to whore herself out is uglier.
-
So if you think it keeps her safe, why would you call it ugly?
-
And do you think it's fair?

The worst part being that Russians are not getting rid of Putin. The fact that Russians are just sitting with this is very disturbing. -
The most important thing is to live authentically. To be myself. Nothing more nothing less.

This is a very beautiful explanation. -
This is one the more understandable explanations so far.

I meant that people shame because it either hurts what they value or - - it protects something they consider sacred. So shaming automatically becomes a retaliatory act. Although shaming is bad in itself, it's understandable why it looks healthy to them since it destroys the very fundamentals their mind is built on. They cannot think of it as high integrity. Expecting them to not shame is expecting them to change their moral principles overnight. I think @Yarco gave a good explanation about this.

I might imagine myself as a chipmunk. Not a dancing one. A singing one.. The funny part is that yesterday I was constantly thinking about a mouse for my signature. And then I was hesitant because I was unable to choose between a rabbit and a mouse. At last I thought of using a mouse. And my mind said - well why not a mouse? What are the chances of such synchronicity? -
We have social media. We have the technology and the means to communicate and be closer to one another. This has never been possible before in human history, in the entirety of human history. People could never be this close. We have video chatting and texting and calling and basically every means to connect with one another, almost like you are existing in person around the other person. And why is it that despite all this, we still do not want a mutual understanding for each other. We don't use these technologies as much as we need to. People still choose to not communicate, do not reply to texts, ghost each other and play meaningless social games. Why are we so lost? Why can't humanity come closer when we have the means for it? In fact most people are not even interested in talking. Why are we so disconnected? Why are we so far apart from each other?

Also what's your opinion on men who demand or value a virgin girlfriend? Should it be seen as a red flag behavior?

I have never witnessed this version of slut shaming. When I tell a man that I had many boyfriends in the past, they usually take it as a sign that I sleep with everyone. This is where I have a problem with it. If I were a guy, I would actually be uncomfortable around a woman who sleeps with many at the same time since I'm not into poly amorous lifestyles and I like monogamous relationships. So obviously I wouldn't want my girl to sleep with anyone else. This insecurity is understandable. That's why I was looking for a boundary where it would acceptable to shame a person's behavior since it's hurtful to a particular party and how they view the sanctity of relationships. But slut shaming someone who is well within the norms of sexual ethics and sexual integrity, I think that's the unfair kind of slut shaming. This is too outdated as most women aren't virgins and any man who thinks that he wants a virgin, I would see it as red flag, this would make another interesting topic. I think in similar ways and resonate with this..

I think some men defend slut shaming by saying that it's a way to criticize a woman who could be a potential cheater in a relationship and this defensiveness helps them to filter out such women pre-emptively. I don't think you need a Mormon to slut shame a woman. Guys of all backgrounds religious and non religious tend to engage (and women of course) in this behavior, they assume any woman who is with many guys is not deserving of dignity or is without class.
