  1. My Life Purpose is strongly pointing towards setting up a video essay channel about paradigm shifts on YouTube. But I haven't really got any experience with writing or video editing. Nor have I really done anything creative in my life. I was just wondering about how I should go about doing the videos to maximize creative growth. I tend to be a perfectionist and my first video took a long time because I kept adjusting and changing things (keep re-recording my voiceover, re-editing certain parts etc). I do this because I really want to get across my message effectively and don't want to waste some profound subject on a video that's not that well made. Would it be more effective to just work on getting out as many full videos as possible, while not being that strict (to a degree) about the final product? Would this be a lot more beneficial for my creative growth, or is it better to really get the spend time on the details on each video? Using this method, I could also cover these same topics in later videos when my skills are increased and I can communicate them more effectively. Thanks
  2. @d0ornokey @universe Yeah included in the 120 hours was getting used to the editing software, redoing loads of it so it wasn't absolutely shit lol etc.
  3. @Knock Thank you very much, I really appreciate it! Many more videos to come
  4. @d0ornokey Thank you man! Maybe like 120 hours? Lots and lots of re-doing bits and getting used to the editing software etc. Yeah the vision for my channel is a transformational platform for open stage orange people to explore stage green ideas.
  5. @Rilles Thank you man, I appreciate it. This is only my first so hopefully a year down the line they will be 10x better.
  6. @Rilles Yeah I'm gonna switch my approach to just having fun with it and learning for these first few videos and not stressing too much over the final product. My channel name is EmbraceTheShift. This is my first video man, if you've got the time let me know what you think.
  7. @Recursoinominado Some advice on what subs to start with would be much appreciated!
  8. @Recursoinominado Thank you for the reply! I am very interested in these subs now. What course would you recommend for beginners, and which has been particularly valuable for you? I'm low on money atm but thinking of either doing Absolute Self Confidence (5g), Ultra-Success&Motivation (4g), or Overcoming Procrastination (4g). Right now I am really trying to become a hard worker, but I keep finding myself backsliding and not being consistent. Although my second choice may be obvious I was just wondering what you'd recommend based on your experiences. Thank you!
  9. I am having a hard time when it comes to creating a very convincing environment in my minds eyes. Does anyone have any experience in improving your visualization skills, and thus the ability to emotionally connect with your vision? Books refer to visualizing all the smallest details possible to make it crystal clear, but how can you do so with subpar visualization? Every now and then I get a glimpse of an intense emotional vision visualization, but can't seem to stay in that specific visualization scenario. Help would be much appreciated thank you
  10. @How to be wise Good, healthy fat doesn't make you fat. But anything that's heavily processed (like KFC and chips) will make you put on weight. Also, I'd recommend not planning your diet around calories and how much weight it will make you gain. Eat to FEEL good instead, not to taste good. If you only eat foods that give you solid energy and make you feel good, you will lose weight naturally. Because only healthy foods make our bodies feel good when digested. When deciding diet and what is good for you, the 1. thing you should consider is 'Is this natural or processed'? The more organic, fresh and natural a food is, the better it will make you feel and the healthier it will be. The more processed, GMO, factory farmed etc, the less healthy it is, and thus the worse it will make you feel. Eating to feel good will change your life, hope this helped
  11. @Rokazulu Tesla actually sparked my interest in visualization, but I've never heard of this book. Is this legit Nikola Tesla?
  12. @Recursoinominado Have you used them? What kind of results did you get?
  13. @Jamie Universe from what i've read, for the vision to be most effective you need to feel like you are in that reality already. I do have my vision written out, but it's just hard to translate that vision into a place in my imagination I can reside if that makes sense. Thank you for the tips!
  14. Borat, the embodiment of a stage blue character, triggering other stage blues in the form of rednecks. Comedy genius
  15. Would you ever consider adding a Psychedelics section to the Life Purpose course? I found the course to be really useful in introducing a big picture understanding of the concept, but Psychedelics really showed me exactly where I wanted to be - in a much more direct manner than the questions did. What do you mean by 'New Age'? Have you ever watched Spirit Science and if so what are your views on them? Have you ever watched the Documentary 'Black Whole' by Nassim Harriman? He's a new paradigm Physicist who proves the non-dual nature of reality using science, and then links it to ancient civilisations and sacred geometry. Have you done 5 grams of dried mushrooms in silent darkness like McKenna suggests? Have you ever been interesting in doing a water or juice fast? Have you tried a Raw Vegan diet before? I've found it to be extremely helpful for having more energy
  16. So many vision boards here that I look at and instantly know me and the creator could be great pals. Wish there was a social network were you could browse peoples vision boards and message and form friendships with people on the basis of their goals in life. Would make creating a support / mastermind group for self-actualizing so much easier. If anyone rates my vision board and is interested in a friendship hit me up lol!
  17. @How to be wise Thanks man. I just have some queries regarding some of the techniques. 1. On Maha Mudra, it says move the energy upward from the Root Chakra to the Third Eye Chakra using the Sushumna Nadi. How do I move the energy upwards? I am a complete noobie so apologise if it's a stupid question. 2. On Yoni Mudra, how can I feel the prana going up from my root chakra and how do I know when its hit my third eye point.
  18. @How to be wise are you finding the amount of techniques (6) in the book enough? Leo's book just recommends a lot more. I'm new to the practice so just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks
  19. @Shanmugam Just read the book. It doesn't seem to have that many techniques, compared to the book Leo recommended. It only has 5 techniques? Leo's recommended book has around 20. I'm new to Kriya so just looking for some clarification. Thanks
  20. @Shanmugam Have you read Kriya Secrets for Beginners? Do you believe the techniques are not effective for beginners? Or only advanced practitioners?
  21. Maybe start a martial arts? I've just started Brazilian Jujitsu which is a lot of fun + a great way to meet people and defend yourself if it ever comes to it. Monks used to get bad bones from sitting inside and meditating all day, so they started doing Calisthenics to keep their bodies fit, which eventually turned into martial arts. Leo's top book Mastery is based on the guys experience with a martial arts. Watch some youtube videos about the benefits of Brazilian Jujitsu and the story behind it, and you might find you are very interested in starting it!
  22. In the book he mentions imagining you are looking at the third eye point from the back of your head. Do you focus on the point with your mind and imagine looking at it at the same time? I'm finding it difficult to understand/ do this. Is this needed? Or is it just so you keep your eyes pointing upwards. Can you just concentrate on the point normally? I can't seem to understand how to carry out the technique mentioned in the book.
  23. @Nahm @phoenix666 I'll give that a go and let you know how it goes, thanks.
  24. I have been doing the concentration exercise (the metronome one) Leo recommends in his video 'Concentration vs Meditation - How To Develop Concentration' and my concentration has been improving because of this. However I am struggling a bit with my breath while carrying out these exercises. Whenever I really intensely concentrate I stop breathing automatically and have to manually take each breath in and out, doing this while concentrating seems like it is preventing me from getting the most out of my practice. Any advice would be helpful thanks
