  1. So here's the problem, everything is just totally completely ridiculously ready and perfect for me to just sit at my desk and do the job, like I basically have nothing else to think about, no addictive cravings which I used to have, literary nothing to distract me but I still just wouldn't do it, I'd just sit there thinking about nothing and doing nothing and even getting bored from that but I'd just be too scared to even start, to get involved and take the first step, I have no idea what else to do about it. Help is much appreciated
  2. Nah I wasn't . he was basically insisting for me to explain it to him even though I said like ten times I don't want to cause you're close minded to that but he just kept asking and the fun part is he didn't even care to get his answers in the end so they are all stupid. that's a fact This
  3. One other thing for you to worry about is that anything that becomes exam oriented like the way you're putting it, it loses all of its corr values for the students. The way it has to be should either be totally exam free or exams in a very different way. And that's kinda the trouble with philosophy majors in university, you have to write down what others have discovered with no real room for your own thoughts and true philosophy. So don't be making the same mistakes
  4. One thing is for sure, you have to bring in the kids from the very first grade and only keep working with those who started out with your academy cause with a lot of schools I see around me it's like the kid is second grade but already so out of hand to be corrected because of their family's influence on them and if you're gonna build a high level consciousness school you better expect a lot of disagreement with the families so you better do a sort of family selection too cause if you don't the children and students will only be more confused to see conflicting ideas in school and in their families. These sorts of changes are real tricky, take all the points into account. But if you start small and keep experimenting as you're expanding, you'll be fine doing it
  5. I tried some visualization practice before starting, and it worked wonders

  10. Don't give away your love For it'll haunt you in the night Go afar into the dark come back with the light See through your lies Close your eyes You've always had that love Don't forget to shine My pretty little star ?? (Read it in a way that would rhyme okay ) PS: I wanted to say I feel lonely but instead that came to my mind
  11. Don't do anything to the point where you're exhausted from not doing anything goal oriented, usually work for me lol

  14. The best thing to do is to just have discussions with them about various topics and try to open their mind and generally just activate their critical thinking and maybe after they're all good with thinking for themselves and now they're eager to have discussion start to slowly have little mentions of enlightenment and spirituality here and there and from there they'll research the rest and maybe if they were interested they'll come back and talk more and you could guide them more or show them resources so they could do that themselves. Here's my own experience and I'm 19 now. I had and still have a very close relationship with my brother and around the time i was 11 - 12, he would have all these fascinating topics to discuss with me and he would show cool cutting edge tech and science in different fields to me then we'd have discussions about everything from human evolution or the beginning of existence to quantum mechanics or history of different technological advances or successful people... and most importantly of all each time I was faced with big life decisions and all, he'd do all he could to help for example, he really made it clear for me at an early age that I needed to figure out what I wanted to do in life and that the sooner I figure that out the more I could work on it and that the work put in early on will have the highest gains in the future and just really made me think about life a lot and I really feel like that I'm at such different place in comparison to all my friends and relatives and that I already have a way deeper understanding of life than anyone I interact with. So the best way would just be to have deep discussions with them about anything and make them think. Because if you want to force enlightenment on them or just keep giving them advice like the old grandpa would do, it would make them rebell against it and the best way would be to help them figure it out on there own. One thing you should really pay attention to is to not come off as a parent telling them what to do but as a friend who wants to have fun with them cause the only reason I listened to my brother was because he wasn't forcing it, I naturally wanted to but if my parents wanted to say the exact same thing just cause they came off as wanting to control me I wouldn't listen so be very careful with that.
  15. No one still does I'm making it up
  16. Leo's on vacation taking a break, can't you guys be at least a bit empathetic to that Just because of us he can't even have the holidays to himself
  17. That one is so stupid. anyone with a little bit of background in math can do it in a split second, but if someone hasn't done any math in years like most people they wouldn't have a clue as to how to do it in such a short time and it's basically assessing sth which can be changed so dramatically with a little bit of math practice. It's so stupid what that shit is even assessing
  18. Intelligence is not even clearly defined let alone tests which would indicate the score of intelligence. Intelligence is highly dependent upon cultural, educational, social factors which are simply impossible to be taken into account through a simple test. Science has never been completely error free, it's changing all the time and at this moment science is in the time of being way off the road in truly assessing intelligence and its complete effect and association with life success and one might even argue about what success even means? Just money related or career wise or happiness levels or spiritual and personal growth, what is success? and if you're just talking about money well there are a lot of examples of stupid rich people like trump while some smarter people might be pursuing things which would never make them known or rich to even be taken into account. So basically it's all just bullshit, there are so many things to be taken account which are totally thrown out the window because it's impossible to work with it in researches like this. By the way @clouffy which test did you take?
  19. @Shin hey, you meditate a lot so I've got some questions for you, do you ever get this uncontrollable body movement of rotating and going back and forth while having pressure on your chest and for head in the spot between your eyes?!? Recently that whole thing starts to happen to me even when I just sit still for one second somewhere not even wanting to meditate and sometimes my back is basically pushed against a chair but my body still starts to just do its own thing. Have you ever experienced anything like that?
  20. The more I get into it the more I realize the depth and wisdom of that statement and it's interesting to know if he's made that conclusion through his own logic or if he's picked it up from other sources mixed up with some ideas of his own? cause from what i see, this issue is nowhere near settled in philosophy, is it?
