  2. I call bullshit on that. Show me a Building Engineer or a Lawyer without college. But then there are careers, like Programmer or Graphic Designer, that are best learnt outside the academic environment. And a wide gray area in the middle, where success depends more on the learner's ambitions and capabilities, than on the quality of formal schooling.
  3. Obviously, majoring in something like Underwater Basket-Weaving would do no good for you. But there are many worthwhile fields of study that will give you solid foundation in topic you like and kickstart your career, so if you can afford it then I don't see a reason not to attend college.
  4. Mr Bald T + iStick Pico. Costs around $30 This way I don't have to deal with open fire while on drugs. If someone has more money, Quartz Quest seems like a good option. It's available on Divine Tribe's website. They also sell ready-made setups.
  5. @peanutspathtotruth Welcome to the vaporization club. I have heard that closest to 5-MeO, in terms of spiritual depth, is DPT. https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/DPT Freebase makes the vaporization WAYYY easier. I have tried to smoke 40 mg of DPT HCl - nothing, it wasn't even + on a Shulgin's scale. Freebase? This stuff melts like chocolate and goes into your lungs in one deep inhale. You don't even feel a taste. It's like breathing hot, mountain air. DPT though is very taxing on the body. Proceed with caution.
  6. Your post reads like a description of some good science-fiction/post-apo story. Invent some fascinating characters and write a book about it. It will sell well, $$$.

  8. I need a cushion for Vipassana retreat. From what you are saying, I will go for simple zafu.
  9. That's the shortest way to glimpse for me. To think about where does all the reality come from. Not only this certain universe, but all possible universes. And snap! Nothing hits you in the face.
  10. Sadly, there is no substance that would consistently create breakthrough experience in everyone. Not even 5-MeO. There are some reports where it hasn't worked even on spiritual seekers.
  11. Poland. You sign a contract for a year or two. You have to attend a bootcamp every month. You also have to help in case of natural disasters near your home town. All paid. In case of war happening you stay protecting your home region, you are not send to the front.
  12. You can contemplate a previous week's video topic during the week, so I see no point in doing that.
  13. Fuck that bullshit. No-one is. It's a learned skill. Go master marketing and start your own bussiness if absolute solitude is what you want. Come up with some unique idea, market it a shit-ton, live off from earned money frugally till your life ends, without worrying about anything. Or become a freelancer, then you will have your quid pro quo. It's very simple now, when Upwork and Fiverr exist. Niche for you: copywriting. You don't need to compete there, if you can produce quality work consistently. Quality defends itself.
  14. In my country they pay you $125 to attend a military bootcamp every month, so I think it's worth it.
  15. Just tried vaping between 3-6mg of 5-MeO-MET HCl. Don't be stupid like me, don't vape HCl. It is unhealthy. Always freebase your stuff or get freebase in the first place. I have thought that, since it's an insignificant amount of HCl in that dose, then I will be able to hold it. I was wrong, for a non-smoker it's very harsh. Equipment and settings: Mr Bald T vaporizer, iStick Pico mod, Samsung 30Q battery, TC-Ni 190°C. Effects and duration: Numbing, slight body rush, slight hightnening in awareness, 10-20 minutes. There's a black residue left on the bottom of the cup.
  16. Of course you can google words if that helps you. You are free to do as you will unless that's an excuse to procrastinate. You can even go into another direction and ditch using words at some point in your process. Concepts can be expressed in so many ways and thoughts can take myriad of forms. You don't have to use verbal language to contemplate, even though it's the most practical way, because words are easily stored and can be communicated to another person.
  17. Who doesn't like Steve Martin? I don't like him. Jk, he's a great a comedian. @SaltyMeatballs You will be much better off watching videos of your favourite comedians and analyzing them, rather than waiting for forum keyboard-jockeys to spoonfeed you.
  18. Martin Ball - Tried = Yes, Recommends = Hell yeah! I think that there's important fact that almost no spiritual teacher has ever touched something like 5-MeO-DMT or DPT. With proper method there's a very big chance of experiencing death, and that's qualitatively different to tripping on other psychedelics. They also lack a knowledge of the topic, so they say no for your safety. Notice that they all say no, but none of them is on an anti-psychedelic crusade. Also, Osho - Tried = Yes, N2O for sure, others I don't know, Recommends = Yes/No. I have read a lot of OSHO material and I remember him considering something like LSD 2.0 should be made, that would give you a pure glimpse of the Absolute to spark the interest in pursuing the real deal. I think 5-MeO-DMT would be something he would appreciate, if he knew about it. He was also against drug prohibition.
  19. I am joking, but I have had something like that for a month. Back then I had started practicing Kriya daily and was spending most of my time in the nature, without any worries. The experience was like microdosing, but without ingesting any substance. More intense during the practice and then fading off over hours.
  20. Ask yourself if it's the right moment and you will get the answer. Really. It might be unclear at first if it's yes or no, so take your time and do it honestly. Listen to your higher self, not your mind. I am more scared of my first vipassana retreat, than I ever was of any psychedelic, so I am not sure if that's an universal truth.
  21. @ChimpBrain Yup, I still have to find a Sack's book that I didn't like. All his works are great. Just pick a title with a topic you like and enjoy! He perfectly combines humanitarian aproach to people with scientific knowledge, takes the best from these two worlds and puts it into a one book. @Shu, another recommendation for you. "Motorcyclism. Road to mindfulness" is a well-done attempt at fusing motorcycling with Zen. Check it out, if you like rare books, that no-one knows about.
  22. Oliver Sack's "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat" might be a good shot for you. If you will like this one, then I recommend for you to read his autobiography "On The Move", too. Frans de Waal's "Our Inner Ape" is entertaining as hell, as well. I have also thought about some of the most-inspiring biographies that there are, but at the same time being very down to earth and pleasant to read. These would be: "Total Recall" by Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Elon Musk" by Ashlee Vance, and "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson.
