Both are cool. If anything it's Hatha Yoga which is causing bursts of energy, I rememeber fire going through my arms when doing the warrior pose. Like literally a sensation of something rapidly going through your hands out. Intense feeling. -

And mine is something along the lines of helping people setup successful conscious businesses like this, plus I learn Spanish. I think we could build quite a good team from members of this forum with matching LPs. -

I have swallowed whole LSD and 1P-LSD blotters and they both always work. If it didn't work 1. It was not LSD, 2. Blotters were inactive because inproperly stored, 3. Your friends had super-high tolerance from the previous trip or other substance. -

If you have broken off contact with your fiance then no wonder you have suicidal thoughts. Breakup is the most potent suicide-inducing factor -

@Chris365 You also need to watch out not to press down on the substance in a scoop, because then it will get more dense and that will result in a higher dose. You can try to take a few loose scoops and weight them and then a few tightly packed ones and compare. I am not sure if I have explained it correctly, hope you will understand. -

@Chakra Lion Donald Trump is not using this forum (probably ), so I don't think he will mind being called an idiot. He's a grown man (probably ) and have heard worse things about himself. -

I have heard some sounds when doing Kriya Yoga. And I can say it was a profound experience because the sense of self was disappearing while listening to it. But it didn't resemble anything you normally hear, it was like celestial instruments, that's the best way I can describe it. My best yoga session was when I could listen to it late at night. Are those sounds important? I guess so when doing yoga. -

They have similar properties, that's why I think it doesn't get burned. There are reports of people vaping bufotenin, like this one https://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=79324 where person reports "I was breathing consciously but somehow it didn’t feel as though the oxygen was getting in." So it might be the compound that is causing issues in some people. -

@Leo Gura are you sure? The last time I have checked it was a fact that some of it is converted to bufotenin. People were speculating that this is what causes visuals on 5-MeO. I also don't get why would it get burned. Bufotenin is just a fancy name for 5-HO-DMT, they are both tryptamines with similar chemical properties, they will get vaped together. The venom might have some other ingredients that are poisonous though. -

@OBEler Cool, but then report you have taken 3 or 6 scoops and not some numbers in milligrams. Because people read it and can get confused. -
Girzo replied to Lyubov's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Lyubov Yeah, but bufotenin is also a by-product of 5-MeO-DMT's metabolism by your body. So if it can harm you then pure synthetic 5-MeO can too. -

The word "lesson" doesn't quite match, but yeah something like that. It's more of a fashion show than a movie, you are a model whose role is to display certain aspects of IT. Nothing is being learned, it's a spectacle. -
Girzo replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Chris365 You can't know how many mg fit in your scoop without a scale. They weren't made for 5-MeO-DMT. You have to put a few scoops on ascale, then divide the measurement by how many scoops it was. Then repeat a few times to get a feel for how much one scoop contains and what is it's measurement error. Otherwise you are dosing yourself with random amounts of the substance without really knowing. That's how "Ohh I have taken 60 mg and felt nothing" reports get made. -

@Leo Gura That's cool, because I would like to discover how and why I am creating it. Any aid helps. -
Girzo replied to knakoo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura You need to make an episode on imagination with your post-retreat perspective on it, because it's a one thing you keep talking about that gets me confused and I believe I am not the only one. And on what other is. My mind can't compute that. -

What I have learned form one LSD trip is that there's no difference between tripping and life, it's all one experience. A trip is just a little more dense part of that experience. That means that everything that is possible sober is also possible on a psychedelic, but on a substance it will be more intense and happen quicker. That's why you CAN get a spiritual breakthrough on a trip. Your inquiry gets 1000x more intense for a moment. -
Looking at all views equally sounds more stage Green. What Yellow does when confronting libertarianism is understanding libertarian's position, but also not agreeing on it in the slightest, because it's disproven scientifically and seems highly improbable to Yellow considering his sophisticated worldview.
-
I think your ability to discern Yellow thinking patterns might be inaccurate by reading too much about Spiral Dynamics itself, and not actually listening to people who are stage Yellow, but talk about somethig different than SD. Yellow thinking has a certain quality, you can discern it when you know what to look for, but you need to experience it deeply first.
-
@louhad It all goes in a full-circle don't you know it?
-
@giglio Ok, you have read Ron Gardner and probably a few other authors you agree with. But have you ever read stage Green economy or politics books like Picketty's Capital for example? Stage Yellow books? Wilber doesn't count, we have all read him.
-
Just talking about something doesn't prove you understand it correctly This is exactly what stage Orange does when it learns about Spiral Dynamics, it puts itself at the top masquerading as Yellow, because that's what Orange is about, being at the top, being right and bold.
-
@giglio Sadly, I have checked and it turns out I only have access to the book where he roast Eckhart Tolle. But seeing he likes Ayn Rand I don't have big expectations. Ayn Rand is like an anti-thesis of Actualized.org. She wasn't even a good novelist in my opinion. OSHO-like case I think, not a Stage turquoise political thinker. Woke people get arrogant sometimes thinking that they know the Truth so now all their ideas have to work. That's not how it works. It's similar to people taking psychedelics who happen to have this great experience and think they are now a great person all of sudden. No, they are not. But hey, I haven't read his commentary, so I leave you the benefit of doubt. Maybe one day I will punch myself in the face for being lazy and not trying harder to read those words of wisdom. Maybe. Maybe not.
-
@giglio Nice defence, but it's not gonna fly with us. Tell me about a single author who is a system thinker and vouches for libertarian ideas. I would like to hear something new, not disproven economic ideas from 40s and 50s. I mean, you can be stage Yellow libertarian, you just have to propse something in exchange, because saying the problems would solve themselves magically without government's interference is proven not to be true. Look what's happening in Chile, a dreamland of free market capitalists.
-
And that was not a greatest decision, because it's not equivalent to what was posted before. Yellow also sorts everything into a natural hierarchy. This is where we disagree. Government is crucial in all those areas. Judical system, environment planning, business regulation, labour law, freedom of religion, etc. It's all needed. It's not like we are having philosophical discussion about what a social state can do. This is what a governement does right NOW. And it's an underfunded capitalistic government. What do you want to trim on? A system thinker thinks in flow. If you get rid of those functions of the government something needs to replace them. The pipe dream of everything goes well when nobody watches. Sadly, it doesn't work. I mean, yes, the system does self-regulate, but not in a way that a libertarians like to think. The hand of free market doesn't work, because business organizations are, well, organized and have much bigger power leverage than unorganized consumers. The government IS the way consumers/workers unite and regulate business. Free market's self-regulation depends on everyone having equal access to information, which is just impossible. As a consumer you can't know if your favourite producer of a soda drink is lacing it with lead, and you can't test it because as a single person, even wealthy one, you lack resources to do that to every product. Talk about inefficency. Oh wait, private organizations will test that. If you think bribing government is easy, imagine how hard it must be to bribe a small private organization. Anyway, how do you provide financing to these organizations that do government tasks in the first place? Bribery and lying might be their only income source in such economy. The way a balance is achieved when government doesn't regulate trade is not by consumers being wise and organizations playing fairly or going out of business leading everyone to prosperity, but through a rapid rise of inequality causing riots and a revolution. History holds many proofs of that behaviour. Government is for keeping a slow pace of change. Have you thought that what we have now is what WAS absolutely necessary? And most of it still IS and requires evolution, not throwing out. You are free to believe what you want, although I recommend you read some actual stage Yellow thinkers like Yuval Noah Harari or Donella Meadows. Or maybe have a few lessons in Green economy by reading Picketty's Capital in the Twenty-First Century. I am no expert on economics, have read only a handful of books, but I am also not naive to believe getting rid of goverment would do any good. The two libertarian works I have read always critiqued old stage Blue ideas, they never even came close to properly addressing stage Green arguments. I agree, haven't seen one yet. Because Sir, @giglio , you are not using Yellow level thinking when defending libertarian position.

@giglio you still probably have some homework to do from stage Green and a lot of new material to discover in stage Yellow
