I don't think that anybody has done it yet, but I think it's possible to create such model that is not a tangled mess. Spiral Dynamics is a super-tangled model, dog-shit if treated as an empirical model, but has a few cool insights if treated as a philosophical one, although those have been refined by philosophers like Ken Wilber, so the only valuable thing left in SD is its marketing and branding. One just need to find solid variables. "Ecology thinking" would be for example a shit variable. Utter shit because everyone, hippie, democrat and a nazi will be interested in ecology as shit hits the fan and we are confronted with results of environmental degradation. But I think it is possible to find solid variables through genuine, hard intelectual work. Such models could be then used to aid in moderation of social media. But as I have said, haven't seen anyone achieve that yet. That's first, then someone has to sell that idea to people in power, because we are still playing the game and probably will be for a long time. We have had this discussion many times on this forum many times in regards to "how can it be there are Enlightened rapists and alcoholics?" I don't think it's needed to be talked about again in this thread and to bloat the concept of playing game with another distinction.

If progress is too leftist of a word for you in this sentence then call it "sophistication of their gameplay" or whatever. That's what I was trying to point out, that not only everyone is at another position in the game, but they are also not equal players, some people are more conscious of the game and play it more effectively. Denying that is not seeing a part of reality that indeed is there.

There are responsible adult people who don't like seeing needless suffering and stop ideas that they deem going in that direction. You can make sophisticated conservative arguments that are conscious. Although people with capabilities to make such arguments are rare all over the spectrum and on the right-wing they are super-rare and probably not the people you would think about. Be aware that your whole post is you screaming that you don't understand the term "low consciousness" and not a serious critique of that idea. Yes there is a game being played. Saying someone is a troll or a low consciousness person is not denying the game, it's assesing their progress in the game relative to you.

Maybe, but they are quite good at drawing the line between their personal beliefs and knowledge grounded in data. The scientists that actually tackle problems of consciousness and metaphysics in their work are not that heavily skewed towards materialism as the rest. It's the decade 2020, the scientists are not the same as they were 10 years ago. Academia evolves quickly like the rest of society.

That's not an opinion, that's bad science. The professor is clearly not trying to tell his personal opinion but frames that as scientific knowledge. Scientific discourse has different standards than normal discussion. Saying religion is a psychological delusion is a bold claim not supported by evidence.

Other selves, and your human self too, don't have experience. Only the God-self has the experience, sees, hears, smells, etc.

That's no secret, he has his talking points perfected for 20-40 years of teaching, when he speaks he gives a performance and is not trying to come up with any new insight. That's the guru game you have to play to be the No. 1 Guru in the Whole Country of India. That's not an attack on him, just a recognition of the role he has to play. In the mainstream, he is way more of a social and political activist than a spiritual guru for serious seekers. He would have almost no following if he was doing the second. I remember Sadhguru saying that in his youth that he had a goal of awakening all people in the world in a few years. Then he realized how futile that is and that the world is not even close to understanding his teaching, then he had switched to what he is now.

@Wilhelm44 Because "relative" is an illusion, it doesn't exist, only the Absolute does. That's why there are no bubbles, you are the only bubble. Bubbles are a cool way of conceptualizing this experience of there being other people and interacting with themselves, understanding your life, etc. But that is not Truth. The bubbles are in fact parts of Your imagination bouncing around Your Mind. The truth is only your bubble is real, only it has "substance". There's no person having their own experience equal in validity to your experience inside any of those bubbles.

Because Leo doesn't exist and you only imagine he does. Your experience is all there is. If you have wanted for there to be the "Leo experience" you would have to cease to be who you are and become Leo.
