@Leo Gura a journalist popular a few years back writing on his blog very long articles on interesting scientific theories like Fermi paradox for example. He doesn't really add much of his own insights, just regurtiating, reporting what's already here. I mean he kind of tries to add something of his own, but his way of thinking is very standard.

Also from the rocks orbiting the planet. They are rich in resources. There can be a lot of turmoil during our life times and shortages of certain materials and energy. We use most of the useful area. The rest is not so useful like, empty in a way.

@Epikur what are you talking about, a shit ton of leftist channels is aware of this issue. Even a debate bro like Vaush has a long video on this topic defending young males and giving them advice. Not to mention mainstream written publications. I see them even in my country, so I won't believe the US media hasn't covered this topic. There's a shift happening, and if I were to point at anyone as the cause, it wouldn't be the left, it would our beloved tech bro IT overlords turning self-development time into screen-time.

Trace amounts, not dangerous. Unless someone is mixing in synthetic drugs with the ayahuasca brew. 5-MeO-DMT shouldn't be consumed around the peak of ayahuasca experience. The 24-hours in-between window is a smart safety measure. Doesn't mean it is going harm you if you don't wait, but is the risk, no matter how slight, really worth it? Because the 5-MeO experience won't be enhanced in any meaningful way let's say 12 hours after aya.

@Sincerity It sounds a little bit like sadhguru tho, he recommends not disturbing water, drinking it from a copper mug. Very old-school.

Drugs are one of the great excuses for the society to exercise social control and mess with people's privacy. Basically, everyone does some drugs in one form or another, so by criminalisng them you can enter into the life of anyone really. Maybe I am exagerrating a little bit. But it's only because I think this libertatrian angle is validand rarely exercised when looking at the drug issue.

It does. But what does this concept mean to you? Because clearly you are not a brain scientist, so it's interesting to hear what you think exactly when you think of "neurogenesis". I can tell you it usually has nothing to do with ego, for sure.

You should be cautious if you see yourself in their words. For me people describing those terror experiences don't sound too similar to me when they tell about their trips or their biographical stories.

@billiesimon He has DMT experience with DMT and 5-MeO-DMT experience with 5-MeO-DMT. Leo hasn't done DMT before 5-MeO-DMT so he can't know if it has any permanent effect on the previous. I would guess no effect.

Because I protest dropping my false ideas about how the world works.

Find guidance from someone who already knows, ask them how they learned and how they would learn if they were to start again.

I am motivated by crazy side-projects and thinking of how to keep the civilzation going without too much collective pain (my ass included).

@D2sage It's you who have some antivirus that gives you false positives. You have fallen for some bullshit marketing of how good their software is. It protects you from imaginary threats.

To anyone reading this thread looking for practical advice on dating. Whatever wise could have been said, has already been said. What follows is typical pointless internet mental masturbation. You can go back and start reading another topic, or better yet close your computer and do something beneficial in the real world. Cheers.

We all. We are all in the prisons of our minds and habits.

Are you trying to tell me the youth in Albania doesn't have their own social life, that they only stay at home with their family like in prison? People can fool around in many places not only bed. No-one would know apart from the two people participating. You go on a walk and have a quickie in the bushes, this is no new invention of big city life.
-
No? The rules is not to avoid fucking around. The rules is to be discreet, to be socially savvy. Then you can fuck around how much you want in a small town in a middle of nowhere. The girl in such situation wouldn't sleep with some idiot who would start telling everyone around, but even if, if the girl has high status she can say the guy is crazy and lying and it's the guy who is shamed and not the girl.

@SamC You know that psychologists have to read a lot and understand statistics to basic degree, to understand scientific papers and data correctly? So it's not like you are learning something that will be completely useless later. You need to master this basic level of Maths required to pass the exam. Don't disregard it, because you think it is useless for psychologists. Some Maths is always useful. Logical thinking even more.

@Jodistrict There's no different alkaloids, just other igredients of poison. The reason to change is stopping to endanger toads. They are living beings, not toys. And they are quite fragile species.
-
@Jodistrict You can legally buy pure 5-MeO-DMT freebase in Mexico.
-
@Jodistrict Why would you use poisonous secretions of the toad instead of clean substance? I wonder how many reports of 5-MeO are really reports of bufo alvarius poison. It's good to remember they are not the same thing.
-
I would say just use pure DMT freebase powder on e-mesh or dissolved in vaping liquid. Other methods are inferior I feel.
-
You are correct. I wasn't talking about changa. I was talking about DMT on parsley or other non-active herb compared to changa.

@MarkKol Microsoft Edge is a great browser. I play PDF and ebooks in it as audiobooks. I could even record them at the same time by using Audacity. Edge also has the same functionality as Chrome and is faster than Chrome.

What is this conversation even? Like what the hell. Guys get your shit together, it's beyond stupid to discuss validity os something so obviously taken out from neural network's ass. You don't do science through AI chatbots. Any kind of science. Just don't. It has less IQ than a mouse. It's only good at saying mediocre sentences that require mediocre skill levels of reading wikipedia. And not always, very often it's factually wrong even about the stuff you can check on wikipedia. It's okay at the most popular topics that internet is full of materials on, for example basics of Marx's ideas. But it won't give you a deep analysis of anything, can give a good introduction though. It is capable of generating a good answer but requires a lot of informed guiding to do so. It has access to nothing. It's a trained network, it's not checking anything for you, it's not googling anything for you in its database. There's no database at all. It just guesses the next word in the conversation by looking back at it. It's a word-guessing tool.
