Here's a thought experiment: What would CK have said if someone like Cenk Uygur or Hasan was shot at a speaking event? And CK was rewarded for the things he said. That's the tragedy. A movement that rewards that kind of rhetoric is sick to the core.

Socialization is a human need. It's a hardwired genetic need to socialize. A lack of socialization leads to cognitive decline, I know because I have experienced it. Unless you have exceptional genetics - you should recognize that socialization is a need like water and food and get as much of it as you need to be healthy.

If you do decide to move, try to make sure one of you will have a stable job and life to live before you leave. I once made the mistake of moving without a good plan and it took me nearly six months to properly recover.
