  1. Deactivated my fb over a week ago and this was a great affirmation. It's been an interesting day.
  2. Yoga means union Hatha yoga is more body focused, which is what I'm assuming you're talking about, but there's pranayama, kriya, kundalini, etc. Some yoga is just breathing and mantra and doesn't involve stretching. Stretching is great, yes, and breathing exercises are great, but yoga as I see it is more of a mind body spirit connection. Leo has a video, I think it's called "Real Yoga" and he explains the importance of it.
  3. All the while wearing an agape shirt smh
  4. "Infinite" goes beyond numbers or logical comprehension so take what you will away from that.
  5. @Leo Gura I think it was going to be messy no matter who was in office or how it was carried out. I'm sure it could have been done better, but it could have also been a lot worse. Seems like this administration was taking the "rip off the bandage" approach. I just hope we collectively learned something valuable from the whole ordeal.
  6. I think we have a hard grinding road with lots of tests ahead in the near future. After that I think humanity has a promising future. My favorite conspiracy theory is that everything is going to be okay.
  7. I like what Bill Burr said here. The whole idea of this conspiracy makes no sense, why have malicious intent for people that listen to you if the supposed goal is control? It's funny that people jump to anti parasitic medicine before looking into eastern medicine. I don't think reiki or acupuncture is going to work against a virus but it shows how narrow and circular our logic can be in the west.
  8. Compared to the rest? They are certainly not silent, but I don't see them at these big rallies. I could be wrong though... Most the green anti vax stuff I've seen has been social media with stage red/blue backing them. Weird common ground now that I think about it.
  9. What do we do about this? There's these people who are closer to stage red anti vax, and then there are the quieter anti vax people closer to stage green. At this point I'm just waiting to get my delta booster.
  10. Alan Watts said something along the lines of Karma=Doing
  11. So my GF has never been big on perusing enlightenment or spirituality in general, but she's always had a keen sense for it. She's been going to school and working and her time has been so preoccupied that one day she experienced nothingness. True absolute nothingness. It was a beautiful experience at first but then the next day she said she saw all of time; past present and future in a sort of "donut" shape that infinitely collapsed in on itself like a strange loop. She knows I understand what she means but she feels like she's going crazy and can't turn off seeing infinity. I've helped her a bit by explaining some of what this means, but also telling her how to ground and be present. She wants to get into meditation but it's never been a big thing for her. I have a feeling that will change soon. Leo's video on The Many Facets of Awakening has been exceptionally relevant for this. I'm very proud of her, but I also understand that this is very scary for her as well as exciting. She's been crying a lot and losing sleep because she keeps slipping into the infinite. I haven't seen her in a week and tomorrow I finally get to be with her again, but if anyone has advice or words of wisdom to help her through this rude and involuntary awakening that would be great. <3
  12. Thank you all for the responses. She's doing much better now that we've had a chance to sit together and discuss this. We went on a date and she commented how weird it was that she is literally everybody and wanted to hug all of them and tell them everything is going to be okay. She had a few scary moments later that night; sudden realizations of being nothing. I've been working with her on grounding and giving her resources to help herself. @samijiben Yes, I'm consciously making an effort not to sully or corrupt her experience in any way. @Leo Gura Thanks, it's in the mail now @JayySur She has 1 free day a week; she's mentally exhausted. No time for psychedelics. @RickyFitts I am thrilled for her, and when she's not reeling she is too. @Nahm Thank you, she's not on the forum but maybe an email, can you post or PM the address to me?
  13. It's really bad on social media like IG and FB. I've noticed two types of anti-vaxxers. There's your (probably) libertarian, "I don't trust the government" people, and then there's the people who say, "I'm not anti-vaccine but..." and I'm surprised at many of the people around me who fall into the ladder. The biggest one I see is that it's not FDA approved and it's a "human trial" and frankly this all sounds like fake news and conspiracy to me. The irony is that these people say they are "woke" about this stuff
  14. His videos are lost on 99% of people or dismissed as some new age/ hippy bs.
  15. So much fear in a short video. Boy's and girl's sports! Nothing about them, just the mention is all you need.
  16. Either way I'm putting my life savings in Dogecoin.
  17. You don't see what you prevent. As insurance companies put it: one instance puts you at risk for another.
  18. The power is knowing that you do not know. God help you if you don't know that you don't know.
  19. There is power in knowing that you do not know
  20. @juvoci Do you have any recommendation on blog sites?
  21. Martial arts as a PE class would be cool. They are all about discipline and something like Tai Chi could have a lot of benefit for kids in school. I remember my elementary school had a karate class in the evening, but it was lame and not very helpful.
