  1. "Research suggests that specific personality traits and specific conflicts may create particular psychosomatic illnesses." Chronic tightening of fists when stressed or angry, Chronic lock jaw (TMJ) (which can lead to headaches) Another example i have noticed is lowering the brow in order to fulfill a role in society. Even this subtle tension could lead stress. Goal: Experiencing stress, but being able to release it quickly without any residual bodily memory of it. What has your experience been with these?
  2. @zoey101 It's okay its not your fault
  3. @Artimus @zoey101 @Nahm @RichardY @Gabriel Antonio
  4. @starsofclay I hurt you but i regret it If only I knew what you truly meant to Me..
  5. @Quanty Great pointer. What other areas could you use this technique?
  6. @Charlotte "Deep Work" by Cal Newport
  7. @Viking 432 Hz and 528 Hz is a common one for meditation, I have noticed that if i listen to this one at night, I have a very deep meditation session and I sleep very well. You could also use this specific one for shamanic breathing. Try it out and let us know how it goes!
  8. @brugluiz Great Life Purpose statement! Your story adds a lot of depth to it. Nail your values, and take steps daily to overcoming that resistance, little by little.
  9. @Faceless Thank you for sharing this!
  10. @Eva The act of snapping the rubber band isn't as important as being aware when you notice the rubber band. During the day, when you forget about the rubber band and notice again, just be mindful of your body, the thoughts you are having, how you feel, etc.
  11. @mohdanas Is your channel name more important than your vision?
  12. @LeoGura has spent a lot of time studying how to explain complex ideas into understandable language that almost anyone can comprehend. He uses big picture examples, personal examples, analogies, day to day examples, visualizations, and a few other techniques to get his point across. This makes him a powerful orator. My question for all of you is, what else could one do in order to convey a complex idea into a simplified version? What i mean is, what if i have a big picture concept, like self actualization, and i want to narrow it down for a specific niche? Does anyone have any examples of how this could be done? Or books/links? Thanks in advance
  13. @Neph I think a lot of people are confused about this post because it is quite vague
  14. @Elisabeth My LP is to help runner's learn about self actualization and to spread the movement of improving one self outside of athletics. @Akim This is true, and i have ideas for this. I am working on making those analogies via videography.
  15. @okulele Same thing happens to me. From what ive noticed, looking up is a signal that your throat chakra wants to be opened up. So next time that happens, try and be a little more vulnerable and put your throat out there as well as your attention. You may begin to hum or make soft sounds of sorts.
  16. I am currently reading Cal Newport's "Deep Work" and I must say, its a great book! Here are some key takeaways that you need to implement right away. 1.) Create a distraction free environment - If need be, put your phone out in another room! 2.) Do NOT multi task, choose to do one things and focus intensely on it. Multi tasking creates "attention residue" This is what happens when your mind switches between multiple tasks and when you switch tasks, it keeps on focusing on the first one! I bet you can relate. 3.) Obtain a stop watch and time how long you can focus on one thing. I timed myself and was able to read for 50 distraction free minutes before getting side tracked. 4.) Have a good distraction if need be. If i need a break or a distraction, I will do a strong determination sit. 5.) Deep Work is a Valueable skill since our attention spans are so weak. Learn to go DEEP in your work, or you will become automated.
  17. Take risks in your life that are well calculated, become hard to reach and the hardest worker, know when to call it a day, only speak with men who speak the Truth. Develop high emotional resiliency. Become a warrior in life. Bow to Source energy, and seek guidance in all your endeavors. Stay alert at all times, and do what must be done. Die with a smile on your face.
  18. @Angelo John Gage More of these on versatile videos would be a whole new niche market for this guy!!!
  19. @Star Net Could you explain a bit?
  20. @Star Net @Paulus Amadeus Yup, this revolution is going to be somewhere near 3000 more powerful than the Industrial revolution. AI is first going to start with automation of cars and semis, which is 13% of America's economy. As it gets more sophisticated, it will take over more and more jobs. Because of their self learning ability, they will be able to learn jobs like engineering. Not for many years, but eventually. Jack Ma of Ali Baba said that up to 800 million jobs will be automated by 2030.
  21. *Realizations from Leo's QM videos/Self Inquiry* "Reality" is just another excuse to come back into duality. Leo mentioned that all these "objects" around us stop exactly where they are, and that there is "no thing" behind the scenes. Isn't that beautiful? The dreamer less dream. The meditation of labeling must be transcended. Because, even to say that there is an observer implies separateness from the "issness" that is BEING.
  22. @UDT This makes sense, thanks! I will start to look at it from this POV
