I dont have any special recipe, but the last months I took a sports nutrition course and man it changed my life, I know exatcly what my body needs (and its not what my mind wants), it ended up that I've been eating mostly the same things: 5 meals a day - I interchange lunch and dinner every other day (Meal 3 and 5) to get different micro nutrients, but breakfast (Meal 1 and 2) and the afternoon snack (Meal 4) are always the same stuff, I found out I was breaking because when I leave room for my mind to choose what it wants to eat I would always go to the bad side and eat junkie food. Happy end - I dropped some pounds and I'm losing a lot of fat, the muscles in my belly are starting to show (I'm also doing it for the six pack, must confess) I have a lot more time now do do other stuff, instead of thinking about what I'm gonna eat next, thats the good thing about this secret recipes. Like if you take this blueberry smoothie as Meal 1, define the other meals (for example those that people are suggesting here) you can put everything on my fitness pal and see the macro nutrients, you are done, simple like that, for me was trial and error, I wish I had done this before, I struggled a lot with food addiction, and this whole thing Leo talks about, find some secret recipes, its gold Master the mind and the body will follow, getting rid of petty things to jump straight to what is really important @JustinS I'm feeling all wrong here cause I only eat one banana per day, I will be adding 11 more

  7. @Whywolf Its about my friend sharing his gift with the world, I see a lot of potential but he cant see what he has inside himself, he doesnt do the "hard work" we are all doing here, I cant judge but though my drawing I can express my unhapiness about the way he decided to take his life I havent drawn in the last month, but its interesting how it digs in my emotions when I do, its like I feel really sad when I start drawing, usually I'm in some peaks of anxiety, then in the end of the drawing I cry, have no idea why, but its like I open myself up, then throughout the day, the small things, like sunset, flower or kind actions of people make me cry and see the beauty in life, its beautiful but at the same time I'm open to sad things too, I feel like I lose myself and my balance, rollercoaster of feelings, its therapeutical maybe I should do it more often but my laziness and fear of being imbalanced and steer my feelings dont let me. How about you? What inspires you in your art?

That was a great trip report, this might help me, I'm planning mine for the next week The thing about the hand is so fascinating, in the book of not knowing there is anothervexercise with the hands: look at your right hand, put your awareness there, feel your fingers, how your hand feels, then look to the left hand, concentrate and do the same, if you start going to one hand to another it's like you have a ball of energy passing, left, right, left, right Peter Ralston also talks about the labels, it's a circus haha the names we give things, and how it impacts our way in perceiving the world, even with people, what we see is not what it actually is, if you haven't read I highly recommend it Thank you!

  10. @Whywolf I used to draw when I was 12 but then i stopped for 15 years and got back 6 months ago, I usually draw when I'm sad, its like a way to release the sadness and be in a trance mode, insteresting Your art is great, I'm amazed by the carcass ones, the colors and everything, flawless

  15. I'm reading Alan Watts biography and saw that he met Joseph Campbell and his wife (she is still alive 101yo and lives in Hawaii) he also met Carl Jung, like attracts like I guess? I also found out he lived in Sausalito, really close to my place, I was reading the book Mastery - George Leonard and saw that he also lived in my neighbourhood, I know California was the place where the hippie movement started and thats why everbody lived here, including the father of MDMA Sasha Shugin but I'm thinking here, such a tiny world! I don't know how I ended up here, but after I had that feeling that something was missing in my life, deep inside I knew this "something" was a big thing, the world brought me here, from a deep sleep back in Brazil, Im feeling wide awake with those coincidences, from a tiny town in the countryside in Brazil straigh to Berkeley We are all so lucky to be living in this age, so many things to experience, I'm so inspired by the infinity possibilities in life, sometimes we dont even need to change the place or the people, changing our minds everyday presents us a whole new world every f** day, how awesome is that? I got this quote "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes" Marcel Proust from The book of not knowing I think it express well what I'm trying to say Sorry if the post doesnt fit here, I'm just excited and wanted to share but my friends and family dont know who those people are but I'm sure you guys heard about those inspirational people and books That's Mt Tamalpais, the place Alan Watts had a Cabin, everytime I go there I think, this is heaven, and yes, we live in heaven and sometimes dont realize or forget..

I had this realization those days too, our mind is always looking for the external world, so we try to fix the external world instead of our own minds, its the ego deceiving us so we wont look inside ourselves, if we looked we would find out that the external world is a result of our thoughts.

I recently downloaded the app Insight timer, it's amazing, someone recommended here in the forum You can do guided meditation, or just put a timer, there are also binaural beats, only music, morning affirmations, in the end of the meditations sessions the app shows how many people meditate with you, people who are nearby, like yesterday when I was done 8300 people were meditating too My meditation sessions were really sloppy before, Ive tried another apps but never had consistency with them, this one, I get milestones if I do it everyday, maybe it's not the right kind of motivation but it's helping me it might help you guys too..
