  1. @Leo Gura He needs to understand that all is relative. Our reality is completely relativistic, no true absolutes, no bounderies. @egoless Check out the video! It helps to understand this.
  2. The Vow of a Bodhisattva There are innumerable sentient beings in the universe; I vow to help them all awaken. My imperfections are inexhaustible; I vow to overcome them all. The Dharma is unknowable; I vow to know it. The way to awakening is unattainable; I vow to attain it.
  3. @doronshadmi Interesting By the way, what does your profile picture resemble ?
  4. @Highest You could also reason the following: -If natures is an act of balance then the sum of all forces of the universe would count up to zero. -The universe was created out of nothing. -We arise from nothing and are born in a something. -We die and become nothing. -If infinity is endless, we will arise from nothingness infinite times. Even if the universe dies out of heat death, or a mega blackhole, or going being a cyclical event. Infinity holds everything, you could be dead for infinite time, but then there is light! Awareness is only aware when it is born so basically we just jumped from life to life or reincarnated without ever knowing the in between. Basically we cannot experience real nothingness, only somethingness, thats why we will never die in my opinion, because we will be resurrected like flipping a switch. It's funny to think about this, but also challenges what I think how life should be lived and whether it's even needed to worry about any death. Feels like one big game to me.
  5. @Lauritz Auroville or Sadhana forest are two examples
  6. @zenjen Can I ask what bothers you the most at the moment? Your around similar age so I wonder what troubles you. In general finding a career, choosing the right study, friends, finding a longterm fullfilling life purpose is a hard thing to do. So it's not weird to see people in their 20's with mental problems like depression, anxiety or being overwhelmed in general.

  8. @Joseph Maynor Born is just a phase of transformation, like death. We are not instantly born neither do we die in one go. It's all a gradual process, meaning parts of us die. If we die piece by piece then are we really who we think we are? In short, we are not a single entity, all our cells die and refresh every 7 years. Death is an illusion, we are already being reborn and dying every moment.
  9. @YaNanNallari Whatever works for you the best ofcourse
  10. What I see and feel is my own perception and this the only thing I can experience. If I experience "outside" objectives (which are only concepts which have no real boundary) I experience myself. It is perception of what I think I'm seeing. Therefor I can see everything as one, it is all my experience and the one and only "I" will ever have.
  11. @Maxx In the end all is one and everything interconnected, so they are partially right ?
  12. @PretentiousHuman I will join you, today I start. Getting a scheme where you can count the consistent days is great to keep you motivated. Even continue the scheme after you stop, so you can see how long the periods are in between.
  13. @Leo Gura Have you ever smoked weed for meditative/inner work purposes? I found that after my psychedelic trips on for example truffels weed never was the same and could bring me into much much deeper state than before. I couldn't smoke it for fun anymore and we shouldn't because I instantly get in a trance which is not appropiate for the regular social setting.
  14. @Maxx I think he refers to 'nothing', Infinity is so full that it's void of anything at the same time.
  15. What we are searching for has always been there, it's to be present in the now.
  16. For all our insightful science, fractals, beauty, nature, you name it.
  17. @Nahm One of my friends also shortly passed out while standing ? Good for him that we catched him before he fell.
  18. @Nahm If you ever see the Vajra, follow it! So cool what we find hidden in our minds haha
  19. @Nahm I actually observed this geometry with great care when I was in the induced state by Nitrous Oxide, my friends are normally doing it for fun and look at the content that enjoys them, whereas I try to understand how this is created in my reality. So normally the wah-wah effect is pretty common on this, it's time is echo'ing/jojo-ing/stuttering and slowly going forwards. The nitrous oxide actually made time go so slow, that I kind of felt time as coming in waves or the oscillation of change (maybe between the two hemispheres?), but I felt I could experience absolute time. Now what is absolute time, isn't it continuous? Yes, time is continuous, but like we all know the universe is build from frequency or waves. The wave itself is continuous, but it does consist of certain properties like the amplitude and a wavelength (often called lamda). The absolute part is where you experience a wavelength of the smallest duration possible. Now how does this wah-wah effect and the varja come together? The varja how I experienced it were like these diamond structures or fractals like in a grid that pulsated together with how I experienced forward progression of time, but this felt like ground zero, like I knew there was no smaller experience of time from there. In physics they say there is a distance called the planck length, which is the smallest possible distance to exist physically in reality. Now this felt the same way, that the physically was no smaller wave to be observed, almost like the wave and the voidness fade into each other? I don't know, it's quite hard to put into words, but this symbol for me certainly left it's awe which I have never experienced with any religious symbol before (coming from the own depths of my mind). So if anyone ever goes into a trace state of nitrous oxide, try to observe the change of time itself Here's also common text or symbols I see on DMT, again looking very similar to Sanskirt or Tibetan stuff.
  20. @Joseph Maynor Have you ever tried n,n-DMT?
  21. @Joseph Maynor Interesting, never done Salvia myself. I did see some very distinct visual on Nitrous Oxide called the Varja also common in Tibetan Buddhism but also Hinduism. The funny thing is that I was so awe-struck how it showed itself I directly draw it when I came back home. Only afterwards I discovered Alex Grey also has them in his drawings and found out the name of this symbol which now represents real spirituality for me. Later on I discovered that someone else also saw this in his vision and I'm wondering if there is some deeper meaning why we see certain geometric shapes. They should tell us something about deep psychology or pattern recognition or how the brain works or percieves reality. Here's the report from some random person I found on the web: http://eyesblackswan.blogspot.nl/2011/12/last-reiki-session-i-had-clear-visionof.html
  22. The now is the truth and beyond grasping because it IS. EDIT: You guys always come here and start to think conceptually to hope you come somewhere, but the truth is you won't. The truth is silent, when we are speechless all things are revealed as they are, beyond grasp and comprehension. If you ever been in true love, you know words start to fail, it's not describable and it wouldn't do any justice to do so in words, so we experience reality Unlearn to think, how long can you stop thinking? Observe, be silent and greatness will be revealed.
