  1. “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” © John Lennon
  2. @egoless There is no evil, there are disfunctional people, who need some special care. Their acts can be preceived as bad but not evil because they are clearly not functional. A healthy physical/mental human being would not commit such act, so we can only emphatize with their short commings.
  3. @egoless Evil or good exists because you cling to a certain believe. A murderer kills someone because of what? Mostly because they are lacking love, they feel empty, extremely full of anger, they don't see any other solution because their mind is thinking in such a emotional narrow way. Is this their true will? Does any human being really want to commit such an act? No. Nobody would wish that hes in that position, it's the lowest one can get, similarly to all other bad acts. This action is just pure hate (excluding incidents), because the environement failed to take care of that person. Reality failed to give love or whatever was needed to make him or her feel content with his being. Isn't that the largest punishment any living being can get? It is an act of misery, frustration, deep sadness. From this perspective it is wrong, not evil. We can only emphatize which such persons but they are not inherintly evil! Evil does not exist, it's always lacking of something that drives people. Even if you decide to start fires now, because you want to prove evil exists, you do that because you lack. You know that it's not wanted, but despite that fact you still want "to gain" something out of that. It's always this lacking if their world that makes people commit these acts. Even if we look at terrorism. It's so sad to see how far the circumstances have driven those men to desperately commit such an act to murder so many people. They feel trapped, treatened, anxious, that their rational minds turns off and find their last hope in a religious act of violence to find final peace in the promised heaven. It's so sad for both the comitter and the people who died, it's just complete misery and we can only emphatize for both sides. When you begin to see others as yourself you begin to see you wouldn't ever want to be in those bad positions. You only want to help those to get a better life, but sometimes it's too late. It's societies fault that these people didn't get any better support. It is only a result of the broken way we now interact with each other. The increasing isolation of virtual worlds, less direct contact, people feel more alone than ever. Sooner or later some revolution will come anyways and will reveal people have had enough of this disconnected way of life.
  4. @Leo Gura He needs to understand that all is relative. Our reality is completely relativistic, no true absolutes, no bounderies. @egoless Check out the video! It helps to understand this.
  5. The Vow of a Bodhisattva There are innumerable sentient beings in the universe; I vow to help them all awaken. My imperfections are inexhaustible; I vow to overcome them all. The Dharma is unknowable; I vow to know it. The way to awakening is unattainable; I vow to attain it.
  6. @doronshadmi Interesting By the way, what does your profile picture resemble ?
  7. @Highest You could also reason the following: -If natures is an act of balance then the sum of all forces of the universe would count up to zero. -The universe was created out of nothing. -We arise from nothing and are born in a something. -We die and become nothing. -If infinity is endless, we will arise from nothingness infinite times. Even if the universe dies out of heat death, or a mega blackhole, or going being a cyclical event. Infinity holds everything, you could be dead for infinite time, but then there is light! Awareness is only aware when it is born so basically we just jumped from life to life or reincarnated without ever knowing the in between. Basically we cannot experience real nothingness, only somethingness, thats why we will never die in my opinion, because we will be resurrected like flipping a switch. It's funny to think about this, but also challenges what I think how life should be lived and whether it's even needed to worry about any death. Feels like one big game to me.
  8. @Lauritz Auroville or Sadhana forest are two examples
  9. @zenjen Can I ask what bothers you the most at the moment? Your around similar age so I wonder what troubles you. In general finding a career, choosing the right study, friends, finding a longterm fullfilling life purpose is a hard thing to do. So it's not weird to see people in their 20's with mental problems like depression, anxiety or being overwhelmed in general.

  11. @Joseph Maynor Born is just a phase of transformation, like death. We are not instantly born neither do we die in one go. It's all a gradual process, meaning parts of us die. If we die piece by piece then are we really who we think we are? In short, we are not a single entity, all our cells die and refresh every 7 years. Death is an illusion, we are already being reborn and dying every moment.
  12. @YaNanNallari Whatever works for you the best ofcourse
  13. What I see and feel is my own perception and this the only thing I can experience. If I experience "outside" objectives (which are only concepts which have no real boundary) I experience myself. It is perception of what I think I'm seeing. Therefor I can see everything as one, it is all my experience and the one and only "I" will ever have.
  14. @Maxx In the end all is one and everything interconnected, so they are partially right ?
  15. @PretentiousHuman I will join you, today I start. Getting a scheme where you can count the consistent days is great to keep you motivated. Even continue the scheme after you stop, so you can see how long the periods are in between.
  16. @Leo Gura Have you ever smoked weed for meditative/inner work purposes? I found that after my psychedelic trips on for example truffels weed never was the same and could bring me into much much deeper state than before. I couldn't smoke it for fun anymore and we shouldn't because I instantly get in a trance which is not appropiate for the regular social setting.
  17. @Maxx I think he refers to 'nothing', Infinity is so full that it's void of anything at the same time.
  18. What we are searching for has always been there, it's to be present in the now.
  19. For all our insightful science, fractals, beauty, nature, you name it.
  20. @Nahm One of my friends also shortly passed out while standing ? Good for him that we catched him before he fell.
  21. @Nahm If you ever see the Vajra, follow it! So cool what we find hidden in our minds haha
