  1. Seed of Life pattern with 3-colored dimensions made visible, the 3-axis and the hexagon (most efficient/stable way to tessellate 2D space). Interesting article about hexagons in nature! http://nautil.us/issue/35/boundaries/why-nature-prefers-hexagons\ Further more, a Pythagoras three growing in polar directions, it resembles how trees/lighting/energy grow in space-time and the term "as above so below is the symmetrical nature of a balanced dualistic growth in both directions of one dimension. This resembles only in 2-axis but you could of course create a third so it would approach a full sphere.
  2. @Leo Gura Imagine that it would be imposible for the system to make laws where nobody is actually doing something wrong. In the end everybody is doing the right thing for themselves.
  3. We all have had amazing ideas but never really gotten the time/knowledge/resources to make it a reality. How about sharing it with the world? Maybe other people will find some use for it and thus we can all contribute in some way. It can be an invention to help yourself in daily life or even be something of gigantic scale in space or whatever you can imagine. Some examples of my own ideas: -Inflatable space colony, cheap in transport, build it from many segments to minimize further damage when something breaks. Can be completely set-up in days, huge space can be achieved, normal costs of heavy weight material would surpas the costs of same volume and space many times. A full moon colony can be achieved in a few weeks? Extendable modules can be shipped and easily be added. Before you know it we could have a space of several hundereds of meters, plenty of room for growing crops, more room for movement etc. Capacity for people also hugely increases. NASA why you don't do this? ?
  4. You are dissolving and becoming infinity You, me, we, all have been it always and will ever be. We are the universe and the universe is us. We are not seperated lost souls, we are the grandest body off all that will ever exist. Inter-connected, one large living being. Follow love and you will find destiny. For love is the language of the universe, the ultimate power of embracing who we are and making the universe exist. Without love it ceases to exist, be an inspiration, follow your heart and then there are many great things to come.
  5. @Monkey-man Let it be. By resisting it you create a problem to fix, even forcing to stop caring is making it a bigger problem. Don't identify with the idea, does it matter to become old? You are never too old to start living
  6. @Ilya Go for light/medium dose of shrooms. You don't have to make the entire house dark or you might not find your way to the light switch. If you have a sleeping mask put it on, get a great playlist of music and enjoy your inner visuals/thoughts and emotions. I was able to vividly walk through memories or fanatasize new ones. It's nice to have some pillows, a blanket and such to chill/rest when it get's more intense.
  7. That's because ideas are part of the duality and you are viewing non-duality from an dualistic perspective too. Get rid of the ideas, non-duality just IS. Any thing you think of conceptually is not non-dual plus non-dualism doesn't even care that you don't resonate with the idea. It's your own personal problem, reality just goes on..
  8. "In short," writes Kalu Rinpoche, "it is from mind, which embodies the five elemental qualities, that the physical body develops. The physical body itself is imbued with these qualities, and it is because of this mind/body complex that we perceive the outside world—which in turn is composed of the five elemental qualities of earth, water, fire, wind and space."3 The Tantric Buddhist tradition of Tibet offers an explanation of the body that is quite different from the one most of us are used to. This is of a psycho-physical system, which consists of a dynamic network of subtle channels, "winds" or inner air, and essences. These are called, respectively: nadi, prana, and bindu in Sanskrit; and tsa, lung, and tiklé in Tibetan. We are familiar with something similar in the meridians and ch'i energy of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. The human body is compared by the masters to a city, the channels to its roads, the winds to a horse, and the mind to a rider. There are 72,000 subtle channels in the body, but three principal ones: the central channel, running parallel to the spine, and the right and left channels, which run either side of it. The right and left channels coil around the central one at a number of points to form a series of "knots." Along the central channel are situated a number of "channel wheels," the chakras or energy-centers, from which channels branch off like the ribs of an umbrella. Through these channels flow the winds, or inner air. There are five root and five branch winds. Each of the root winds supports an element and is responsible for a function of the human body. The branch winds enable the senses to operate. The winds that flow through all the channels except the central one are said to be impure and activate negative, dualistic thought patterns; the winds in the central channel are called "wisdom winds." The "essences" are contained within the channels. There are red and white essences. The principal seat of the white essence is the crown of the head, and of the red essence at the navel. In advanced yoga practice, this system is visualized very precisely by a yogin. By causing the winds to enter and dissolve in the central channel through the force of meditation, a practitioner can have a direct realization of the luminosity or "Clear Light" of the nature of mind. This is made possible by the fact that the consciousness is mounted on the wind. So by directing his or her mind to any particular point in the body, a practitioner can bring the winds there. In this way the yogin is imitating what happens at death: when the knots in the channels are released, the winds flow into the central channel, and enlightenment is momentarily experienced.
  9. I read a nice quote somewhere in the Tibetan book of Living and Dying about Chakra's. Will search it and post here
  10. @Brandon Nankivell Chakras are legit in someway. These are real signficant point that are related to the nerves in our body, so when these are blocked in some way energy or connection gets lessend. For example your root chakra is related to the lower part of your body, if it's get less active, you become less in touch with the ground and attention shifts or get intensified in other areas. The mental aspects arise because these chakras are also related to psychological stimulation and focus and as a consequence create the emotions that come along with blockages etc. I hope it makes some sense. The best example I can give is when you dont sport a lot and don't activelt stimulate your body, you get out of touch with it's shape and sensitivity, thus start to live more inside your head. This in turn can make you feel less grounded, and show the symptoms of a weakend root chakra. It's important to keep the right balance of stimulation of all chakra's or just your whole mental and physical body. If anyone has a different view of what they represent please comment!
  11. @Will Bigger Well we dont have to assume matter is dead. I think the whole universe is alive, but it's definitely strange to go from in-animate to a full living organism. It's like this mystical emergent property that arises when the complexity and arrangement of matter increases. It's completely miraculous and makes me wonder how it is even possible.
  12. @BobbyLowell It doesn't matter around how many people you are around. You as a person need to bring down all barriers to receive the love given by others. Love is all around us, but often we fail to see and open up to it. Get rid of judgement, stereotype, the past, jaleousy and hatred and you will see that you will become a much more likeable person. I'm speaking in general by the way.
  13. I don't really get what you are trying to say. You are speaking about the torus as if it is the real truth, but it is merely an abstraction. I agree on some level it does have a good representation of how things appear to be, but it is not the actual thing.
  14. Ofcourse, but not everyone is able to fully open up.
  15. @AleksM You are missing the point mate. The spiral and torus are just labels, they dont exist but the mind thinks it can recognize them everywhere. True reality doesn't come with labels, they are mere symbolic represenatations of what we think, not what it is.
  16. @AleksM I know but the torus is not reality. It's only a symbolic representation of a pattern.
  17. @AleksM The correct interpretation of "truth" comes in many different forms. Experience is truth, but anything that you can 'think of' is not the truth. The torus is a good schematic example of what reality could be, but we dont know for sure. It's a belief. ? You are trying to see a simple schematic symbolic represantation of a occuring pattern as the truth which could have infinite depth.
  18. @Toby Yes trading can certainly increase your holdings. But if you are not good in trading and bought low early this year you could better just hold.
  19. @Toby Well I only started last year to do it full time. In 2013 I bought some bitcoin too and sold too late, with maybe a loss of 40%. Back then I didnt know anything about trading, or even have an exist strategy. It was stupid and more of a gamble. Why do you want to know?
  20. @Toby Yes over 2000% last year. But to be clear, losing and gaining is part of the process. If you start you will lose mostly if you are not trading a bull market (upward). Trading a bear market is difficult and requires skill where to enter and exit, and this is where I made my most gains. Just sitting on some bags is not having skill. Anyone could do that hoping for it to rise and many people mistake their succes then for actual skill and get overly-confident, eventually losing more than they gained.
  21. You are still wandering in maya, the illusion of seperation or solidity of "things". Once you get it you will be awe-struck. It's all one endless flowing river of undiffertiated experience, you create things by seperating them from the whole, but this seperation is only in the mind. If you learn that the mind is a construct of relativistic things and labels and understand that everything you think of is only a concept and not the the the truth itself, then you can also see that all science is build upon loose ground. The only TRUTH you have is EXPERIENCE. So dont talk about knowing truth if you have never done it before.
  22. My #1 challenge is to fully comprehend as a man what a women needs. Being empatic and able to place you in their shoes will solve all problems. If you can think like them and show you that you can always provide what she needs then this is very attractive. As males we are born to be strong and independent, and learn to shield our emotions, often becomming foreign to them. This is also a problem because we get worse in reading subtle emotions of others. These subtle emotions is where it is ALL at for women. The subtleness and intimacy is what they want, if a male is being numb or shielding all his emotions it is hard to make a connection. If you learn how to feel, listen and place yourself in the opposite sex, all your relations will improve. Sex will improve, coherence, attraction and reliability. Work on it!
