  1. When you have the feeling something is going to happen, you actually want it to happen, which is really understandable in this era. Most of the old age believes and ethics are out-dated and people are starting to get confused (open internet and strict cultural believes don't mix). Religion, rights, monetary system (rich and poor) all feel like they need to be reevaluated and that's why many people feel there is something going to happen. Eventually it will happen and we will see some kind of revolution which will be hard for the ones that are so tied/dependent on this system.
  2. What are the best festivals you know or have experienced already? I know Burning Man is one of the best events one can visit. In europe there is Boom Festival, probably the largest psytrance festival around.
  3. Do you mean the whole act with foreplay?
  4. @brovakhiin You will only know if you got what it takes if you try it There's nothing to lose when you enjoy the learning process even when you might not be able to play that complex piece completely. No worries!
  5. Be their inspiration and show a motivated attitude to get things done. Brainstorm together but keep it on topic! You might be the leader they need themselves.
  6. Anyone who likes traveling, visit Auroville (East-South India) it's the most spiritual developed western place I've been to. India is a very spiritual place in general, so looking it up is certainly worth the try!
  7. Short term goals are to focus my energy on laying a foundation for my longterm desires. So figuring out what kind of job suits me best, how I can improve myself now to become even more open and motivated for the things I already love. Eventually I want to live close to nature and have a sustainable house. Being able to provide some food myself and buy external good when necessary. It would be awsome of there was some sort of community like Auroville in europe, since I still be connected with people but don't want all the capitalistic bs and hypes. That would be my ideal goal, building such a community centred around sustainability and awareness/conciouss reflection; through healthy eating, contemplation, sporting (yoga, etc.), meditation and doing creative things together.
  8. I can relate so much to having a blank mind most of the time and had some DR/DP for a while due stress related issues and an intense experience on mushrooms. Having no thoughts can be really serene when not having to talk to someone and becoming one with the moment, like meditating on sounds (birds, trafic, etc.) and gives you an advantage in resting in the now (or where your mind is). Now your mind is blank and you have to talk to someone, for you it might be hard to think about what you want to say and that the information exchange is happening at a very high rate that you feel you can't anticipate fast enough. This is a tension you still carry due some emotions that indeed fragments your experience. Does this create a feeling of restlesness? If so you want to anticipate too fast and this is what disconnects you from the moment. Your actually in your mind all the time but the thinking is not done in words but in feelings. The feelings of tenseness/having to respond/act are caused by how you think things will progress in a conversation or act but because you hold onto this idea you fixated the free flowing process of thoughts. If I still make any sense to this point, learn to let go of any preconceptions/emotions that normally control you. Do you have any traumatic experiences? This could be the main cause that you still haven't digested. I wouldn't try psychedelics they are not the best thing you can do right now. MDMA would be more suitable if you would even try that. Try to work on it without the use of substances, since this will have the best overall longterm improvements.
  9. The natural goal of sex is reproduction or having a child and I do think this can give your life more meaning but also great insight. It's bonding and you can re-experience the world from a childs perspective. It's not a necessity but it can make your life more colorful in the long run.
  10. I'm kind of in a similar situation and my biggest fear is longterm adaptation. 700km is decent compared to my situation lol, if things will work out one of you will have to move and it will take lots of energy. The other thing is that the first 2-3 months are easy and its the early phase of discovery, but after that it can get more tricky. Doubts can start to arise wheter you want to commit, if you still feel the same and she is really special to you than you should consider visiting each other more frequently in holidays otherwise it will fade. Those few intense days are really great but you should try to go for longer periods to see what it's like to have someone around all the time. Having someone around all the time vs LDR and short visits can change your perspective quite dramatically (in a good or bad way). Hope it works out!
  11. The dimension would probably spherical or a bubble since this is the lowest entropy structure that can exist in any dimension. The one or the universe in it's ultimate form, if it would have boundaries, would be spherical aswell.
  12. I don't know where we going. The future is uncertain, but where I want to go my hearth knows the best. All these funny things walking in my life, full of contradictions and hard for time to time. Often striving for perfection, but failing to attain, again and again. Thinking, my biggest friend and enemy. Here once again we meet, chattering of the mind, taking shape, creating my world. Don't be afraid, together hand by hand, back to back, we will write where we want to go. Let your feelings and intuition guide you, by them true authenticity is present. Wherever you are, Wherever you go, remember that your not alone. Namaste.
  13. Go study Walter Russel!! His ideas have been sort of rejected by todays science but his whole theory is based on polarity, transformation and how energy propogates. Watch some videos on youtube, hes truely a genius. The secret of light is probably one of his best books. I think his theories are the most fitting regarding all the subjects we discuss here. More people need to look into this! @Leo Gura if you have already, check his work out its high quality stuff!
  14. Check out this video on meaning from Crash Course Philosophy (they are soo good)!
  15. @PureExp Nice addition! You can actually follow the smell of freshly baked bread to the bakery if you try hard (close range ofcourse). It's a trail to the source, and if you follow that trail you basically walk into the past of how the wind flow changed that 'space' over time. It can for example go around a corner so you know how the wind blew. We don't use this or think about this at all in normal life but several hundred years ago it was useful for hunting. I always wonder if there is not something like a perception limit of scales. For example we live at our human level of perception, than there is the micro and the macro. Both ends we walk against some unknowable perception wall, either knowing how the entire universe looks like or how the smallest fundamentals look like. Could it be that because we live at this level of perception and reality, this can only make sense because we cannot look any deeper? I think that defining limits this all-knowing/all-seeing view since otherwise there wouldn't be any descrete point of view. I don't know if I make any sense here but I hope you guys understand ?
  16. Hey members of actualized! I have been talking with this girl for now over four months and have never had a boring conversation with her. I had some feelings for a while now but today she told me aswell she is in love with me . Okay so all the romantic stuff aside, I know her very well and so does she but we have never met in real life. She lives at the otherside of the planet and is planning to come where I live in the summer or this year. After summer I'm starting a new study which takes 3 years to complete (Bsc), but I don't know how all this would fit together at this moment. Does anyone have experience with longdistant relations or someone you fell in love with which lives far away (other continent)? I don't know maybe you guys have some advice, tips, or insights that might help me along.
  17. I think i should indeed try out a while and see if it is a lasting relationship. Being at a distance is so different than being around all the time so that might change in a positive way or turn out as something else. Appreciate the feedback guys! It's a tough decision for sure if one of us were to move.
  18. Space-time is a construct of mind. You see relativity and seperation arises when you think/feel you have a distinct identity. When the identity fades away so do time and space literally, it is the awakening of timeless oneness. You can try to define it with words; you could think of it as energy or atoms but what you are actually doing is defining what you think you are. Neither do I think that empty space exists since matter is only a concept but boundless in true reality.
  19. We derive meaning by relations to help each other fullfil our dreams and desires, even when true reality is meaning less, it's still fun to go for that parachute jump or anything else that makes you feel alive.
  20. @Bodhi123 I agree with what you say, however black doesn't mean darkness/negativity, thats your negatibe perspective aswell. Black could be a clean slate, the void, oppurtinity for light.
  21. @Alex K You are already who you need to be and where you are at. There is no need to speed things up, nature is always perfectly balanced and the most suiting at any time. You could say the ego is the past and future, I don't see it anywhere in the present moment. It is neat to have that ability but someone who has that would say exactly the same but 10 fold more. It's another form of longing that the ego wants
  22. @Alex K I honestly think this is the way to realize oneself to the fullest. Knowing that life is a dream full of alternative perspectives and paradigms one can only be at peace when he stop persuing out of fear and turns it into love; for himself, people and the world.
  23. @Alex K Love is a feeling of being at the place you need to be. That could be relational-wise, but is equally valid for anything else like 'your job'. It's gratitude, peace and riding the ride. You will discover what this means when you are at it, it might come in waves but eventually you will become the wave. Just follow what you guinely love to do, but be rational aswell in the longterm.
  24. I think everybody will eventually find that out whos doing actualization, we really know nothing, but making it an restless journay to grasp the unknown is not enlightenments longterm goal. Not knowing is an insight we have to remembered from time to time to make us humble, but to live enlightened without grasping is to follow the path of where you find love. Things will fall into place and if you follow this body/mind alignment you can fully realize. I do agree that the path of actualization will eventually be done out of love aswell if not already. I don't mean anything like self-enquiry will automatically drop, but its the body/mind synchronisity of love that brings you to your true potential of being without resistance.
