  1. Since we are 99% genetically the same your nerve reception doesn't really differ from most people. The majority of the people is also raised in similar culture, kind of similar childhoods and the average path from school to job make people think similarly. Most people have the same perception due to culture, but when you expand you knowledge you can start to see things in different contexts and that would make you unique. Human experience is quite the same imo, but how you approach things can be very different.
  2. If you were at the ultimate godhead experience, knowing that you are all and everything, than that would be quite lonely. So it would be logical for god to forget who it is, create seperation to be loved by "things" outside himself. The delusion is there with a purpose, it is not evil! Nothing is evil, nothing is good. Love gets extra meaning when you are not one and the same. Love is what people call the ultimate glue that holds people together, so in a sense we need delusion to feel love for each other? Since the one / non-duality doesn't contain any concepts or dualities there is nothing to be loved or feared. Think about it.
  3. @Prabhaker I think your view on being introvert is quite black & white.. Introverts are more independent because their personality creates thinking for yourself. This might even give you the opportunity to worry less, since you know pretty well how to do stuff for yourself you see. Being introvert doesn't mean you become a pervert or worry a lot, neither does being an extrovert make you healthy and unable to reach enlightenment.. This all depends if the person has destructive tendencies, cares about his own health and how emotional stable one is. Some extroverts party so much their healthy drops dramatically, while introverts might live a life with less impulsive behavior.
  4. As long as you keep balance between both gaming and finding real life easter-eggs everything would be good
  5. @Echoes Exactly the same we like to play an act like kids. We are not really super hero's, or any figures we play, but still we like to imagine and dream that we are those even despite your not.
  6. To add to this, I think non-duality is a state to be visited and wouldn't be something to live in. Having ego allows us to love, care and help, so enlightenment in the long term is not about living in non-duality, that wouldn't make sense then. All enlightened figures would have an ego, but their mindset instead of being narrow is extremely wide and forgiving. Anybody wants to add to this?
  7. @Shin God and his silly jokes... Without suffering there is no gain
  8. @Vaishnavi That's life and no I would just say my phone is about to die. If its really going to be something you better ask her number.
  9. Stay true to your feelings, motivation comes in up & downs and your mood knows best what resonates with you at that moment.
  10. Mystical experiences of awe are so profound you will never forget them . Cool huh how you can change the lighting without actually changing 'the light source', you probably get what I mean with this. Epiphany is the word! After your third trip take it slow, doesn't make much sense now but psychologically it does.
  11. I'm 21 and dating with a girl who's 25. If you feel your both at the same level of maturity and have insight how ones life would look like at that age then it's not a huge problem. When you get older the age difference eventually becomes less important, but for me 10+ years is quite a lot.. The guy who's 76 might live 20 more years, but you should also know that he might pass away somewhere in the near future..
  12. If we were to presume that quantum physics and hawking radiation are an flawless description of what's going on, then shouldn't we take Planck length as an example that physical reality has some sort of quantanized values at the fundamental level? That would mean you don't need infinity to get to an absolute (like a infinitely small fraction) but rather a huge amount of energy, that could eventually create a real absolute singularity. If we say planck is wrong and physical reality is continuous than we can indeed not reach a true absolute anywhere. And what does that mean for all of space-time? If we were to look at all space, wouldn't there be highest and utmost lowest temperatures/densities somewhere in the cosmic background radiation? This is interesting to read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_foam
  13. @Salaam Isn't that all about the event horizon? I'm talking about the actual singularity, where space and time break down mathematically.
  14. Singularities don't have entropy, since space and time break down. Physics break down there aswell, those are the places where 0K is possible.
  15. Any creative game is great. I can imagine that building houses, caves, etc in minecraft can be 'meditative'. Discovering places in no mans sky or skyrim (graphic mods can take it to another level!). It's a kind of meditation, but it doesn't compare to silence the mind completely.
  16. Thanks for writing this done. I think this helps me in my own situation and some things I can relate to.
  17. If you live near factories I shouldn't try to drink it without filtering properly. Some forests die due to acidic rain so it can be quite dangerous. Carbon filter will get rid of most color, smell and chemicals. You can buy a passive membrane watercan aswell to filter out microbes and organics.
  18. Banks are already getting nervous about the blockchain technology. Decentrialised currencies are the future, no middle man, power to the people. Worst case senario we face is a total black out of electricity due to massive solar flares. Bye bye internet, light, and modern society
  19. Good things are going to happen but it will be a mess at first. These structures held so long because some people fight so hard for them and will not let them go easily.. Most people don't even know how to be independent when the common systems fail due some revolution, there will be chaos but freedom aswell. What's important is that we lay a structure how to deal with revolutions (technological, automatisation, economic) so we don't fall into the deep. Sustainability & knowing how to be independent (semi off-grid) is no joke in this era where things will change faster and faster. The only thing that worries me is if we can find rest in this accelerating changing world? Uncertainty is on the rise for those who don't know how to plan/adapt.
  20. @Vercingetorix I accept it but I still find it difficult to see. You are probably talking about situations where it's kind of okay to let the situation be, but what about completely inhumane things that are too extreme? Mass executions, child abuse, and other horrible cases that play? Yes it's my inner fight but I won't let these things happen without worrying about them, that doesn't feel right. It's like pretending all is okay but you wouldn't even dare to stand in their shoes for a minute. I resist against these things because it feels right, because it something worth fighting for and I hate to see it happen. I don't act with hate, i act with the most compasion I can, but rejecting to feel hate is wrong.
  21. @Elena Saw the video this morning Affected me deeply..
  22. @Vercingetorix I interpret that hate as motivating. I cannot say I love to see people suffer. Letting it all go for what it is while I can help some of them feels too careless.
  23. Time is you truest teacher, you cannot speed up things.. Only time will tell when your 'ready' and don't worry it will be soon enough if you let go of getting it now. Short term grasping of enlightenment will not work. Im not enlightened as far as I know but I vow to attain it in this lifetime.
  24. Who are some people that inspire you? I like how Elon Musk is changing the world. His entrepreneurship fascinates me. Further more great artists like Leonard Davinci, Beethoven. Einstein, Newton and Schrodinger. Spiritual wise, Buddha/Leo and anyone who seems to have that enlightened shine. Who are women that inspire you? My mom. I like how Emma Watson comes up for feminism, Malala doing a great job as well. And do you have any examples of people who are changing the world `gently`- without all the glamour of success, just being a valuable part of society? Yes, they are the school teachers. They don't get much fame but all development start there.
