  1. I know people like this too, very rich and living in their own insane bubble. In the cases i know, unfortuanetly the kids have grown to be even worse adults than their parents.
  2. I'm socializing because i wan't to be noticed, it strengthens my self-image. I wan't their acceptance. Now i realized why i get anxious; i see how critical and judgemental my social circle can be when they gossip so it starts to worry "me" if they accept "me" either. I can now see that my ego had added my social popularity as one source of it's confidence. When i see behaviour that threatens it, anxiety hits. My ego cheated me to think that i'm just so noble that it bothers me so much when people are mean to eachother. Lol Thank you! Sometimes even for simple realizations like this, few guiding words can be really helpful!
  3. I remember Eckhart Tolle saying that inner negativity attracts negative people to come and attack you. This is because your negativity will feed the negativity inside them. I haven't really adapted that concept in my own observation yet though.
  4. There's nothing to believe, you can see it's true with your own eyes. You do something "wrong" and it will hunt you after. For example cheat on your gf and you will be hunted by the thought of getting caught. Even if you'll sneak your way out of it, you will suffer in the fear of her finding it out somehow.
  5. What about the proven health benefits of ejaculating to prevent prostate cancer? I'm gonna try this out. This is my day 1 of nofap
  6. Hi! For some time now, while i meditate i occasionally reach a state where i go "deeper" as i meditate and this sparks up a some sort of fear in me. I suddenly feel energy vibrating inside my whole body. My mind sometimes gets excited about it and it kinda stops me from going further, if there's anywhere further to go? And sometimes i get fearful of the feeling like "what is happening omg"'. It's been like this since i first meditated with my psychiatrist after my mental breakdown. I was just wondering if anyone else has similiar experiences of feeling your aliveness sparking up emotions of excitement/ fear?
  7. How to know for sure if you've already activated the kundalini awakening?
  8. I understood the meaning behind your post. I've had many conversations with older people, and for an example; one old lady in a wheel chair told me she wish she wouldn't have worried so much when she was young, and that life in the old days isn't that great with your body slowly breaking apart. Basicly what she was saying is that she wasn't accepting life as it is then and she still isn't accepting what is now. I found this same basic story behind the words of many elder people i took contact with in my previous job. It makes me so sad to see this happening to almost everyone around me.
  9. You can remind yourself to focus on your breath several times during the day. Then you will fall back in your mind, then wake up again...It's like that. You can only be mindful now.
  10. Good points, i can agree with you on some level. This is good guide to wake you up to take full responsibility for your own life. But! In my experience it's not actually, "you" who makes these bad descisions that cause all negative things. It's the unconcious mind and even if we have the illusion we are it, it has it's own patterns that it acts and runs through. What i would consider "you" is the subconciouss you, the deep wisdom beneath all the shit. If the master is at sleep the mind will happily run you through it's patterns. I don't think it helps anyone to start blaming themselves for acting unconciously and causing disease to themselves, blaming is just more unconciousness. And there you go again, in the viceous cicle. That is why reading a list like that in unconcious state can be harmful.
  11. Just be sure you dont let your mind bullshit that the symptoms caused by meditation are some disease. This will lead to months of tremendous fear, anxiety and depression, doctor visits and neurological tests. (Been there done that) lmfao. However that experience guided me to see what really is important in life and what is to be ingnored. So going through hell can be good experience. Maybe in my case the hell was needed.
  12. World is being ran by capitalists, they want us to work, fear and consume. The path we are on is leading to exactly opposite direction. Now go and imagine Donald Trump meditating.
  13. How long does these symptoms last and at what time perioid do they arise? All at the same time or seperately during months of time? All of the points i've experienced in somesense during one year. My conciousness has definetly shifted from what it was but i still fall back to unconciousness and need to wake myself up many times during a day.
  14. When i started i couldn't even notice thoughts because i was so attached to them. Keep on going!
  15. @eputkonen good insights, thank you. What i realize is that you can easily make spiritual path to the same endless seeking you do with seeking fullfilment from external and material things. If you are seeking to be enlightened in the future you are doing just this.
  16. Yes, people are good to manipulate. The more i get to know unconcious patterns of my own mind the more i see how people are using me for their own pleasure. Few girls on my class at university are flirting to me, but i think they are just seeking attention from me, they don't actually want me. I'm taken so they consider getting my attention as rewarding. I can see how desperate they get at times when they race against eachother of my attention. It's like looking at kids competing eachother, but they are women in their 20's.
  17. Yes, i know what you mean. I can sense it aswell if i'm present enough. I think i sense it even if i'm unconcious, but then i collect their vibes to my own behaviour. If they feel negative feelings, i might feel negative, if positive then i might feel positive. But if i can stay concious i feel deep compassion towards people who are negative. I don't have to attach to their feels anymore.
  18. Probably everyone has at somesense, most are just not aware of it. Staying aware in social situations is difficult. I find myself lost in ego games constantly.
  19. I've seen numbers 20:20 since i was an kid. I see it very often. Mostly on digital clocks. When i was teenager i thought the universe is probably trying to tell me that 2020 will be the end of me. Many times it's not even that i decide to look at a what time it is. I just look and there it is. But i think it's just that my subconcious mind is making a deal out of it.
  20. You can't remove the floaters because they are actually collagen particles that have shattered from your eye. They are moving inside your eye. There are some eye surgeons who remove them but there's an risk of damaging the retina or increasing amount of floaters so wouldn't recommend that. However, they might move their position so that you don't see that much of them. But they are still there. My advice is to just accept them.
  21. Thank you, this is useful thing for me to realize, as i've been searching happiness from external things all my life except lately when i've searched it through meditation. But what you said made me realize i'm still seeking for the happiness instead of just letting it be. The seeking of happiness is actually the only thing on the way of happiness!!! Ahh feels good.
  22. What is considered "normal" in our western civilized minds is quite fucked up actually. Complaining is normal, being grateful and happy is rare. There's always something to complain, so there must be allso always something to be grateful for aswell. You just need to shift your whole mind 180 degrees around, and be different from everyone else.
  23. Nothing to be worried about. I have shitloads of floaters. I see them mostly against bright white surfaces like snow. If you try to see them you will see them all the time, especially if you get anxious about them. Most people see them at some part of their life but not everyone will be aware of them. People with poor eyesight usually have more floaters.
  24. Saying that shows you actually don't have a clue what you are talking about. Lol There is no such situation in life that has no time for spiritual work. "Dry practicing" meditation on problems by purposefully thinking about negative thoughts can be helpful. It's easier then to see how the negative feeling fillls up your body and allso not to get lost in the thought. If you practice this, then when the negative thoughts come up by surprise, it will be easier for you to see them as thoughts and beaware of them instead of falling in to the misery and continious cycle of negative thoughts and feelings. The key is not to be afraid of the thoughts and feelings. Don't try to avoid them. Focus on the feelings not the thoughts. Accept them with love.
