Yes, good point it's mainly ignorance. There are pretty smart people out there but deeply unconscious.

@Ishanga whenever I read your statements about God, reality, how things should be in your worldview, I see 90% is coming from sadhguru through you. I did the same yoga courses from isha as you probably and watched some good amount of sadhguru until it got too repetitive. For me it sounds you use his terminology, his focus on celebrating life (and not digging too deep), his warnings about psychedelics etc. Almost everything.You can tell me that you have different teachers but it really sounds like you built some typical yoga worldview. And that can make problems, closed minded. What is triggering you so much that I propagate psychedelic usage? I do it in a responsible way and helped a lot of people here on their way. You yourself have no idea what psychedelics are. You can read 100 reports but that won't help you a bit. Again, put your books and videos away, get some experience. You talk about God as if you have a awakenings already. You just read tons of material and brainwashed yourself with that, thinking you have some authority to speak about. Same with psychedelics. That's not good, expect some corrections from other forum members if you do that.

I am not an absolutist as you see me. I vomited during Isha yoga 3 times thanks to a virus and still came every time back from the toilet to finish the exercise. I am still committed to isha yoga from sadhguru and do it at least every week. However I would be fine if you see me whatever you want. Because when we discuss things about reality and truth, your and others personal preferences to methods and desires how reality should be, shouldnt play a role. So I just encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, let go your attachments on whatever guru said to you or whatever you read in all these books should be true. It's not the same as real experience. If you see others as low consciousness as soon as it contradicts your worldview because it "feels just so wrong" , be open minded that your ego is inventing this to protect you from looking deeper and discovering the truth.

It sounds like you cannot accept that some people here are disagreeing with your worldview. And your worldview sounds really nice, I honestly envy people having this kind of worldview. But nice worldviews are not always true and you can easily test if your worldview can survive in this forum. The thing is, are you really ready to let go of your worldview and restart again what's really true? Can you be open minded that it's the other way around, that you are deeply unconscious yourself and you project that on other people to protect your self image? That would be a good start for discover new insights instead of repeating over and over the same yoga dogma and protecting and defending it at all costs.

I did this mantra. Wow ..there is definitely a shift in my consciousness, it feels solipsistic. I will explore this more.

You don't know my experience. I had real OBEs on a weekly basis. No lucid dream stuff, I know the difference. There is a clear difference. An OBE is almost like a waking state consciousness but more like an observer watching a movie, sometimes I could not make a difference if I am astral projecting or in "normal reality ". People are over hyped about OBEs they just had a few and imagine how it could be. I had countless and know it's limits.

I know the difference between psychedelic and OBEs very well. Overall psychedelics are way superior. The difference is so big you hardly can compare these. OBEs are a joke compared to psychedelics.

@Leo Gura what would be a trigger to come back to your psychedelic journey again? Or have you committed yourself to stay sober for rest of your life? Like an addict to protect yourself from further escalations which can harm your body? But you are very conscious what you do so you could easily prevent an escalation through dose control/set/setting.

Leo already said it in a video: 200 breakthrough trips with 5 Meo dmt should do it. But some just need one breakthrough.

@molosku yeah could be a bit too harsh. Yes you should not generalize addicts. There are just some heroin addicts who have similar character traits in my opinion because they are always under pressure to get the next hit otherwise they will be punished by withdrawal symptoms. It's the pressure what makes them so harsh.

Interesting, so could this be also a reason that you stopped psychedelics? I mean you had over 500 trips and I bet there were probably many similar trips over and over again.

@Leo Gura No he got nothing out of the trip. He plugged 25 mg. His 5 th trip so far. First one with half that dose he got way stronger reactions. On this trip His intentions were right. He was curious what it has to offer. He wanted to know who and what he really is. It was the best case scenario. During the trip he must felt so save his body felt asleep. He was not moving at all, his breath was deep, he was just resting in being. It was not peaceful, joyful, fearful, just nothing going on. No thoughts, just being there. It was one continuous trip there was no shift in consciousness he reported only at the beginning where everything was whirling like snakes. From then on just being. Zero insights.
