  1. College is a smart plan. Also, there's lots of billionaires and millionaires that didn't go to college. Some are happy some are not. Same at all incomes. I can tell you this, and hopefully it's useful....through my thirties I assumed making more money would make me happier. I have been fortunate in that I have made a lot of money, enough to see first hand that it doesn't actually do much for me. PD is a bottomless pit. It's where life long fulfillment and happiness come from. No reason you can't make a bunch of money, but I'd say live in the now first and foremost. You're probably just being brave enought o listen to your inner self or intuition and align with it and get off the path that felt wrong to you. Have fun. Know you find what you look for. Once you know what you're looking for, don't ever stop looking. You find what you look for.
  2. @Old Soul ear drops while he's sleeping.
  3. You're the author. This is the best time ever. You can do anything you want. Find a jolt or wake up catalyst event. Do more thing you enjoy. Let go and get in touch, get connected. Consider your daily rituals. Also, btw, I'm married with three kids and living a typical life. It's wonderful. I'm fulfilled and giving love at all angles. It's awesome. Where is fun? Where is love? Where is passion? Nowhere. It's something you do. Do it. YouTube Shia Labuff for further instruction.
  4. Well, either startup a website, or be flattered. Or both.
  5. @rush If you had negative thoughts patterns about going to work and you quit and start something new, I think you would just be doing the most logical thing. Intuition would kind of be the opposite, where you would not have negative thoughts because you already knew what to do.
  6. It sounds to me like you are far enough down the path to be able to see the mechanical life (most don't), but not far enough that you realize the magnitude of the difference in consciousness. I think you should feel great about where you're at. There are 7 billion people each on there own path. I agree, the majority are in the low zone. I bet you'll start seeing the gap and getting comfy with seeing what lot of people can't see. Anyways, in short, they can't see what you can see. The right thing at the right time, and people do wake up slowly. Like, when you hear "Mars" you imagine the cosmos and an enormous planet, and they heard "Meijers". Be nice to them.
  7. @Echoes We love that though. GTA 5 is very limited compared to our reality but I go in there once in a while. All the fun is in the limitations. I hear ya though, all that time and gravity and what not. We do have superpowers man. Superman's flying isn't a superpower on Kryton, only on earth because nobody else flys. Ours is meditation.
  8. You could make a flying saucer barn in the real world. One dude even made a rocket than went to the moon. It's all real, right? Our definitions of real change.
  9. Best question I've seen so far. You are the difference. Think of a red barn. Now make it blue. Now put some horses around it. Now turn it into a flying saucer with pink bows taped to it. You can do this with ease, because mind is the superposition that is everything but is nothing specific in reality yet. This is The Uncertainty Principle. You can't get info on where even one single electron is if you focus on where it's going, and vica versa. This is because it is you observing you. Reality is everything that has been focus / collapsed into something specific already. It's you.
  10. @Beam I'm so happy reading your words. Good for you man.
  11. @Max Regan Total awesomeness! Realize your manifestation! You have been focusing!
  12. I want mine to be a lion, roughly the size of a matchbox, but with a roar louder than a regular size lion. I tried your meditation excercise, but it left me like, "I know buddy! I hear you loud and clear! Where are you!!"
  13. Of course it will. Any insecurity, you added it. Realize this, and you can just take it off like a shirt that you put on in the first place.
  14. @Old Soul It's because you are the universe. Stop looking at "Trump" and believing he is the universe. Don't believe the illusion bro. All is you. You are literally and figuratively trumping you're own power with illusion.
  15. @Principium Nexus You and I, We literally, scientifically exist in seperate realities. The paradigm freedom you desire is within you, not what someone is doing to you. Don't believe the illusion. Everything is you.
  16. @Old Soul Just a thought, you are saying you focus on yourself and not other peoples' ignorance. As an offering for your expansion and self discovery, which will bring the very freedom you seek - most of the words you use reveal your focus is on finding other people's ignorance. Can you find my nonignorance in this comment? It is in your comments.Godspeed.
  17. Thank you!! I very wise 5 year old once told me in a waking dream - meditate to nothing, so you can mediatate to everything. Focus is all we have.
  18. Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Phil Anselmo, Zach Dela Rocha.
  19. @jakub_friso a book called "dying to be me" was a real game changer for me
  20. It's relative to where you're at. Takin a break might be good for someone with sex addiction. Gettin it goin might be good for someone wanting to connect or maybe explore, or who just enjoys sex and doesn't think of it as in the PD or metaphysics category. Someone with twelve voices in their head might find celebacy cuts it down to 3. Who knows. We're all so wonderfully different, especially when it comes to sex. Maybe you're wanting to discern where you're at with your sexuality more than your spirituality. Speculating, of course.
  21. I'm gettin preachy. My apologies. That's great to hear. Sounds to me like you got this and I think you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Perhaps my understanding that my emotion follows my thinking is more of a philosophy.
  22. @Martin123 I'm running the risk of going right back in the hippy category to you, but for what it's worth...and man, I really really hope I don't offend you, that is not my intention at all...but......You are where you are, and it is perfect. I think you are letting go of the memories of the traumas of your past and that is just awesome. Perhaps, as you meditate and let those things go, on their way out, you are experiencing the emotion that is attached to those memories. It is important (please don't take offense here) to acknowledge that while you were a victim of someone else's actions, unequivocally you were, (and fuck them by the way!) ... take responsibility for the attaching that transpired. Maybe you were too young to understand anything like this when the trauma happened, and again, it is not your fault, you were a victim, you were not responsible for what someone else did, but, you did the perceiving. Let me just articulate one more time - I'm not saying you brought it upon yourself, you didn't. You deserved better. I say again - FUCK THEM. What I am saying is, ever since the event or events - you and only you have the control over how you choose to think and talk about it, and the thinking and talking is what you experience with your emotions. The thinking and talking are NOW. Those events are not NOW. You are keeping them in your NOW with your focus & word usage. So I'm saying - use it to your benefit now. Forgiving is "for giving". Whoever did you wrong, try to think about giving to them. Imagine giving them what you have learned in your life. I bet what you now know could and could give them would be the exact thing that could free them. It is the thing they did not have when they harmed you. When I think "what is the opposite of hippies", science and specifically quantum physics comes to mind. So I'll go that route. Consider using the Uncertainty Principle to your advantage. You are probably familiar with it, but perhaps applying it in this manor will be a fresh approach. We can look at where an electron is or where it is going. Never both. The more information we have about it's position, the less we can know about it's trajectory, and vica versa. Neither observation is more or less real. So, consider, are you looking at where you were/are, when you could be looking at where you are going? We have a tendency to think that looking at where we are is more logical, reasonable and respectable. But I say The Uncertainty Principle is a description of reality itself, not an opinion. So I never look back, I focus on what's coming, where I'm going, and it is as real to me as where I've been or where I am. On my best days, even more so. Feel your words for a while. Trust your emotions. Notice the subtly of how each word feels. Pick better ones. Pick the best feeling words you can. They define where you are headed. Over time, it will culminate and you won't see the wrong or feel the pain of your past. Instead, you will appreciate the catalysts that led you to your salvation, your liberation. It does take time, but doesn't it feel good enough just to feel that you are going in the right direction?
  23. @Martin123 Have you ever come upon the idea that we create our reality with our words? I did a while back. Maybe from Tolle, can't remember. That lead me to learning neuro linguistic programming. Not the Hitler kind. The PD kind. I can often tell right where someone is by the words they use. I use words thoughtfully based on how they feel to me. After some time passes, this makes a very big difference. I'd even go so far as to say that without this, the increased happiness and vision I obtain from learning does not become the default happiness I wake in, or my baseline if you will.
