@LaucherJunge who is it that loves the ego?
-
@Rufus the challenges present themselves to us all. Sometimes we meet the challenge, sometimes we don’t. They keep coming though. They always will. Not one of us will ever be “done”. When we rise to the challenge, we love it. We expand. The trick is, to see your growth and fulfillment IN the challenge, far before the expansion & fruits show themselves. See that the obstacles are where the experiences come from. See that, as such, there are no challenges. No obstacles. Just gifts. When you’ve lost sight of this, you’ve done enough for the day. Sleep. Meditate. See it again.

@Cesar Alba you can pursue and make money doing any one of those interests, and you can enjoy all of them wether they are making money or not. 22 is the roughest age in my opinion because the world says ‘figure your shit out, you’re an adult now’. But biologically speaking, the brain is more fully developed at age 24-25. Success is made from failures. Certainty is made of uncertainty. Sounds to me like you’re soon to realize all of your experience. It’s valuable. You are making you, and you’re not a couch potatoe, or milking off the system. You problem is which passion, good problem to have. I know it’s hard, it does get easier, but you are doing good.

@InfinitePotential The absolute is an experience you can have. Pause for a second on what absolute is. It is not relative. -

@Ilya sit down and meditate. Just return your focus to your breathe. Let go of so much thinking. -
@Cudin ego is not bad or good, because it doesn’t exist. That’s the joke. You are no more or less what you are seeing in front of you than you are an ego.

Nahm replied to Bichu Krishnan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Bichu Krishnan There is a catalyst for the illusion, it is not purposeful, but also not arbitrary. There is a purpose for the universe, though the universe itself has no purpose. -
Nahm replied to Bichu Krishnan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Bichu Krishnan why would the One create an illusion of you, which doesn’t know it is actually the One? Why? Hear your answer from within. Then throw it out and wait for a deeper one. Keep repeating. -
@The Monk fluoride preventing cavities is a belief of yours that you have not properly researched. Just look at the obvious evidence. Sit in a dentist’s waiting room. Ask why they are there. Ask if they use fluoride.

@The Monk There was a point in my life that I saw a Dr, a therapist, had major back problems, migraines lasting as long as 10 days, horrific sinus problems, took 4-6 pills a day, fucking hated the thought of where my life was headed. Then I went raw / vegan. Started meditating every morning and exercising. Now, I would wager everything I have in a happiness competition without hesitation. Hopefully others don’t have to go through that hell. We’re all pretty stubborn and ignorant though.

@The Monk it’s all relative. If you’re starving to death, anything is good to eat. If you have the time and focus to do your research, not everything is good to eat. Good as in beneficial relative to what you want.

@WaveInTheOcean ??? -
@HII what if introverts are more connected spiritually by default and therefore find the experience of not being alone foreign?
-
@Blue is the sea one exercise might be to write down what you think you are or what you might be on paper, and research that. You may find that everything is relative, until that avenue is exhausted. A daily partnership between this exercise and meditation afterwards could be effective.

Nahm replied to Monkey-man's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Monkey-man I think this one requires a serious amount of contemplation. Perhaps thousands of hours of sitting alone. Only to see the most obvious and simple answer is true. Or psychedelics and one day. -

@Bichu Krishnan thoughts are like the gifts under the Christmas tree. Seems like there is a Santa Clause. -
Nahm replied to Psyche_92's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Psyche_92 from the nonduality perspective, there is no we or us. Thinking is illusion. Reality can never be manipulated because it is absolute. Thinking we manipulate ‘reality’ is part of the illusion. What you’re calling ‘reality’ is the illusion. What you really are is absolute. -
Nahm replied to john5170's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@john5170 sounds like a great breakthrough. It could be that the spirit is in your mind, and you are not the body or the spirit or the mind. -

Nahm replied to Monkey-man's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Monkey-man What we call reality is an illusion. Actual reality is absolute. Ime, it’s love. The illusion is finite, relative to the rest of the illusion, and happening within the absolute, and without. The absolute is not relative to anthing at all. What you actually are is absolute. Your body, brain, and thoughts, are relative and therefore part of the illusion. Absolute is transcendent to time and space, beginnings or endings, living or dead, physical or non physical. Evidenced by thinking in the sense that if you contemplate enough and resolve down what you want, how you want to think, how you want to feel... it’s love. Just like how we have perfectly convincing dreams, yet they are of the dreamer, the absolute dreams the illusion. Why would the absolute dream this illusion Monkey-Man? -
Nahm replied to Scholar's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Scholar if you 'get beyond the ego' there is nothing more. the ego is thinking these things. you are the ego. beyond the ego is absolute. the word absolute, means absolute. -
Nahm replied to Peace and Love's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Peace and Love there is more to be seen. there is clarity to be realized with regard to your concerns. shroom tea. -
@tyler7415 Don’t trust what anybody tells you is the truth. It can’t be communicated. It can be experienced. The best way to spend your life would be to experience the truth for yourself as soon as possible. Anything else is just taking someone else’s advice. Robot’s say “I am not a robot”.

@Martin123 Just a ?? Shout out....I did some research inspired by this post, and I find your explanation / meaning of zen devil to be the most insightful & useable. Nice work as always Martin. I had an insight, or just a clarity of how simple it really is. We ‘think’ we’re something. We meditate to non thinking. We’re love. The nothing & nihilism are just the experience of being inbetween.
