  1. @snowleopard maybe he’s the perfect president, at the perfect time, because you don’t like him.
  2. @bananak Focus on your own blooming. Listen to those that help you see within yourself, and contribute to your motivation of what you want. Don’t listen to those with information you need to agree to or commit to memory, or accept on faith. It’s the information that has value, as it expands your perception. The value is not the person it comes to you from. Anyone who tells you otherwise, simply doesn’t know better, and watch out for those people, and their kool aid, nails, nooses, rocks, stakes, and pitchforks.
  3. @Serge Thank you, really! I didn’t know that answer until I read your post.
  4. Anyone can channel. It’s a matter of setting yourself aside, and allowing your self in. Like anything worthwhile, it’s only a matter of practice.
  5. @Alien I am fascinated by your choice in avatar name & your question on meditation. Blowin my mind bro. You’re already in the rabbit hole. Meditate to this video next time. Breath in that divine prana and breath out that bullshit. Just let it go right on through you. Don’t keep it by thinking.
  6. @Serge The themes of the movies are almost all the same. There is oppression, and there is liberation. You love the liberation, we all do. You have not learned to love the oppression. They are two sides of the same coin. One with the other, One without the other. Bring them into your ‘real life’. See the oppression for what it is, and you will be without fear, without doubt, and without suffering - as the characters are when their journeys are complete. They all strive to overcome what is without, and yet rejoice in having overcome what is within. Reality is far more magical than could ever be depicted in a movie.
  7. @Mount Bananas music distracts thinking, specifically, the rythum / percusion entertains the thoughts and syncs, allowing direct access to the melody, and the now moment the melody is within. Learn to play an instrument like guitar or piano, and to sing while playing. You can expand that moment into hours on end. You can disappear. Question for you...do you know why you have chosen the banana?
  8. @krazzer we are not trapped, though I am in no rush to be done.
  9. @Omni The illusion contains an illusion of expansion. It is a facet perceived and of perception, not an actual facet of consciousness. Consciousness does not acquire information. It does not acquire anything. It was never without anything. Pragmatically speaking though, that is a great insight, and worthwhile thinking. This is not a simulation. It is deliberate. When we simulate our reality, we are still nothing. You could not be rendered obsolete, you are creating this moment. In your last question.... you are skipping right over the term you are using ‘artificial intelligence’. That does not, and could not exist. There would only be an appearance of artificial. In actuality, it would be intelligence.
  10. @How to be wise yes. What a beautiful perspective he has.
  11. @Hardkill try to realize how easy it is to make $250. This is a a few days of cutting grass, shoveling snow, collecting bottles, holding a sign on the side of the road, writing a letter asking someone for help, Uber or lift driving, creating a go fund me, collecting metal on garbage day and taking it to the scrap yard, selling some of your old stuff on EBay, filling in as a waiter / waitress for a weekend, baby sitting, etc. There is no shortage. Open your mind. You are in a masters of teaching program, and you can’t produce $250? THAT must be quite a splinter. You can do anything you believe you can do, evidenced by everything & nothing around you always.
  12. Just a thought, might be helpful, but if there where a computer, with artificial intelligence, it might still struggle to understand what electricity is - not where it comes from, or how it can be measured & used - but what it is.
  13. @bananak thanks! I can relate man. My original stuff is very acoustic singer song writer ish, and I do a lot of covers in different keys and often change the feel; major to minor’s, etc.
  14. @bananak just chiming in...for what it’s worth to you... I’ve played guitar and sang for 2o years or so. I was once experiencing what you described, those precious minutes of ‘zone’, of unstoppable grace. Now, I do this regularly, for hours on end (to a relative degree of reference to experiences) and it is blissful and I would not trade it for all the money in the world. I feel, you are just tapping into a beautiful, beautiful thing. A daily (morning) meditation habit will change your m’f’ing life as a musician. You know, The Doors named the band after The Door of Perception (Huxley, I think) Check it out. Scott Weiland, of STP, he got it, and of course, many others. He wrote many songs in the ‘zone’ (The zone = no self in the way, just God flowing) Do you even zone, bruh? lol Flies in the vasoline we are Sometimes it blows my mind Keep getting stuck here all the time It isn't you, isn't me Search for things that you can't see Going blind out of reach Somewhere in the vasoline You'll see the look And you'll see the lies You'll eat the lies And you will (if I’m not mistaken, the ‘vasoline’ Is the one “substance” that is the illusion, and I think he incorporates the materialistic powers at large too)
  15. @St Clair omg dude. I’d like to read as much of this as possible! Keep it comin! I love this stuff. I had a similiar syncronicity a few months ago....went to buy mulch, guy at the counter asks if I play. He points out I’m wearing a 20 year old Hendrix t shirt. I’m like, yeah, you. Long story short, he tells me about an acoustic musicians hub A MILE FROM MY HOUSE?!?!?! I”VE LIVED HERE AND PLAYED ACOUSTIC SHOWS FOR 4 YEARS!?!?! How is this shit even possible?!?!?!? Been hanging there, met the best guitarist I’ve ever played with, played a few shows together. Amazing. Just amazing.
  16. @St Clair omg dude. You just plucked me outta my house and put me right back to where it all began. Your writing is beautiful. What happened next??? ?❤️?
  17. @dude to me, the dude abides, is the total consensus of loa.
  18. @dude the dude abides.
  19. @St Clair awesome. That’s a blast from the past. That was the first book that made me start questioning things. It’sbeen over 20 yrs since I read it. I can barely remember it now. Do you have any of it’s main insights top of mind? Share em? ❤️
  20. @Joseph Maynor seems like he’s beatin around the bush. Makes me wonder if he has actually been Alone. I’m starting to think, either there are souls and I have not experienced them / mine, or he has experienced Alone, and he is downplaying what he has to offer and undermining what he Is saying, or he’s dumbing it down to what he assumes is the reader’s level. It could totally be my ignorance, but whenever souls get brought into nonduality, my dogma radar chirps a little. Not code red, just a couple chirps.
  21. @ADD laugh about it. Why would you be anxious about it? You’re not doing it, they are.
