A Zen student asked his master, "Is it OK to use email?" "Yes," came the reply, "But no attachments."

@Stevo I think it’s an awesome read & you’re obviously serious about your trips. Me too. I don’t think your viewpoint is common at all. I wish it was, a lot of people would be freed from a lot of bs. I just had to pause on the meaninglessness. When I see that, I feel like someone is close to the cosmic joke view, or One, or godhead seeing - not sure which term is most helpful, if at all. If you know what I’m trying to say, I am really interested in your thoughts on the godhead view and infinity. Thanks!

@SBB4746 what do you mean, ‘realistic’? ?

@spicy_pickles here’s just a way to think about it...why don’t you have everything you want already? There are teenage millionaires, people your age who do have an ideal partner, etc. why don’t you? in loa terms, it’s due to resistant thinking. you are capable of doing anything, that much you know.

Nahm replied to Andre Quinonez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Andre Quinonez That is a great quote. Even with knowledge in psychedelics & consciousness, there would still be the main barrier of information vs experience. Trip experience is impossible to communicate to someone who has not been. Too much of a game changer. You’d have to brand the idea of psychedelics & research & findings, and involving testimonies would help. Celebrities would be ideal. You could wake those Kardashians up on their own show. I would watch that. Totally possible. Your overall question though, I think the answer is both, they’re what you are in a way, the launch sequence was activated way back. -
I have a life long friend who went into the service. He was the fun guy in the bunch, the life of the party. He enlisted for the free college. Now he’s a pile of PTSD. Can’t even be around him. It’s sad. Emotional intelligence is connection to Self. Killing, is not emotional intelligence. “Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, use, understand, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.”

@Chrissy j ha! Nice post. You’re not the only dreamer. I’ve been to hell, now I’m in a beautiful dream. There are billions of perspectives. I find, a lot of people don’t equate “self help” to what can actually help them with their stress, frustrations, suffering in general. The ego wall is strong with most people. In general, I think, at least in my country, “helping one’s self” seems to all too quickly equate to making more money. ?

@Stevo I realize it is not a popular thing to say...but I find there is a reason for the universe. Not a meaning, but a very solid reason / purpose / use. Get’s Right into the Truth though, otherwise, I’d attempt to communicate it.

Nahm replied to Charlotte's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Charlotte I think of med as the foundation of everything else. IMO, it’s not so much what comes directly from the med, but indirectly what I get to experience in my life, what I’m open to, what I can see, what I can feel, what I can learn, not to mention the trillion traps and triggers I don’t end up in. I don’t think there is a ceiling to meditation. The rabbit whole just keeps going. So awesome. -
Nahm replied to onacloudynight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@onacloudynight not that I’m saying you’re on drugs now, or typically, but, maybe it’s because drugs were involved in your past in terms of freeing your mind from the matrix that these people, who think you’re on drugs, are still in....? Is that a full circle? Not sure. -

Nahm replied to Joseph Maynor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@cetus56 that’s really interesting. Reminds me of this time I passed out. I noticed a quick little thought stream where I was “choosing” the micro steps of passing out, convinced I was doing it on purpose. Lasted a second or two. It was weird stayed with me for a few days. I think it was the first time I was ‘behind’ my thoughts, seeing them operate. Another time, I had an hr long surgery planned, for a deviated septum. I woke up two days later in the icu and thought it had been an hour. The dr’s said I had a weird reaction to the anathesia, and that I was asking them about their weekend plans while they were grinding down my nose bone. -
Nahm replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@egoless If you want to understand the religions - want to see them for what they are, study the history and politics during the time & place of their conception, not the dogmas. -
Nahm replied to Will Bigger's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Will Bigger so...light hits the eye and is coded and then decoded by a brain which produces the image of light inside a completely enclosed brain so it can be observed by the brain. And psychedelics alter this brain, which alters the former process of light. Yep. Everything checks out here. Makes perfect sense. Idealism is a dualism. -

Nahm replied to John Iverson's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@John Iverson what a distraction -
@Phill I think if you start at the top and read your posts here, you’ll see that your issue is not from meditation, but from awakening to the fact that you can choose to leave your past and start focusing on what you want in your life. The more you focus on that, and only that, then by default, you have stopped focusing on your past. Stop letting your past have something to do with your future.

@Joseph Maynor what is the source of the resistence?
