@Viking Loving your self is the ultimate ironic point. You are God, doing this person. We use Qm’s, retreats, practices, psychedelics, etc, et, etc. JUst to remove the barriers to loving ourselves. Love is reality. It’s so simple, we climb mountains to understand it. LOL.

@MarkusSweden The thing on the right in that painting, behind God, is a subtly implied outline of a brain. There is no link and no missing link, just a veil implying two. The ‘arm’ extends from the pineal gland, through the frontal lobes, giving ‘life’ to ‘man’. And of course the shadow is baked in.

@Ramu @Heart of Space lol. I agree. I don’t prefer him. I think he’s a good example of distinctions in intelligence and consciousness though. I’m not even suggesting he’s overall intelligent, but if you wanna make 3 billion dollars, he could actually tell you first hand how. Consciousness though, I don’t see working in that way. I laugh every time I see it. It’s genius.

@egoless Other people’s experience doesn’t add up to anything for me. It’s interesting, I like hearing about it, but it’s not a tool I can use, just pointers to tools I can use. It’s fun to talk about, and I love learning, but, experience is the only way to know. I’d be speculating on anyone else. It is pointless, imo, trying to make distinctions on “someone else’s” enlightenment. I think you are wise to be open minded in this regard. Trying things for yourself, and being honest with yourself about where you’re at, and openly asking questions. Keep doing that, and you’ll never be “stuck” in being right. Ya know what I mean?

@Faceless I hear that man. I can really relate. If someone would have told me years ago that awareness was transcendent to thinking, I would have thought that was ridiculous. But, after years of meditation, in hindsight, I realize that was just the nature of my thinking. I am so thankful I relied on my own experience.

He reallly highlights the difference between intelligence and consciousness, which is why he is the president today. The median relates to him, though he does not relate to the median.

You know from investigating the suffering! The only way to continue suffering, is to ignore this, which is to assume you already know this, but in truth, don’t. If you ignore it, persevere it, then you have learned nothing. If you sit with it, face it, you can begin to see the source is you, and your perspective, and the choices you have been making. Through facing one’s of fear, we liberate ourselves.

@Viking cosmic nihilism doesn’t tell us anything, it’s made up. An outward projection of not having gone inward.

Seeking insight or answers outside of the self can be exhausted and enlightenment perceived as the delusion of ‘others’, seeking the true self within, ‘others’ are revealed to be self, and enlightenment realized. The extent to which we deceive ourselves in this matter is commonly underestimated and merely an obstacle of ego.

@Faceless Have you seen that all is thought induced projection? It helps in terms of distinction, escape, from the materialist paradigm.

@StephenK Yeah, me to?, through meditation. It’s delightful. I thought “this is IT!”. Lol. Later through meditation, I experienced the ‘oneness’ I though OMG “THIS IS IT!”...then experiences later revealed to me that in hindsight, I was really just finding the dance floor. Later...still practicing.....then...we’ll...I experienced a completely different IT, and IT is IT, no questions left on the absolute, the real me, real you. The void is not thins @Thanatos13 . The void is some drunk chick walking down the road pointing out the dance hall to you. She don’t know nothin, but who cares, you’re here right? @Thanatos13 If someone asks you what IT is, what the end all no fuckin doubt about it grand mother F’n finale’ is....and you’re not laughing your ass off...then you don’t get the joke yet, and you have SO much more to experience. Don’t listen to highly intelligent people who make amazing cases for the void as the absolute. It’s not. They don’t know. Just straight up ask them what they’ve experienced. They’ll either keep intellectualizing, or all of a sudden have something they need to go do. Maya is at it’s best in OZ, do not be fooled. This is because they are in the exact same tough place you’re in right now, minus the balls to be open and talk about it. Good for you man. Now lighten up!
